Kiki finished her letter with a flourishing signature, and then sent it off with an owl, waiting obedientely by her desk. She lifted the sheet of parchment, with a half-written letter beneath it and with a pause, continued writing it.
Once finished, as if on cue, her best owl flew in. She waved it away and her old form of letter-delivering flew in. Her kookaburra came in and laughed at her as she tied the letter, addressed to Sapphira, onto his leg.
He flew out and the room was silent, except for the murmurings of a portrait on the walls.
"Why is an Australian the British Ministeress of Magic?" One demanded.
"Oh for goodness sake, you have given me nothing but disapproving stares, groans and bad advice. Could you please look upon me in a better light, for I know for a fact that half of you are more than approving of some of my ideas," Kiki snapped, sighing and scratching the owl beneath its beak, waiting.

Sapphira sat on her bed absentmindedly stroking her Falcon's feathery, brown head. Too many if's and but's were swimming around in her confused brain. Snatching up the letter again, Sapph re-read it and gave it another thought. She sighed, scribbled a small note to her keeper then grabbed a bag and shoved the contents of her wardrobe into it.
"Where the hell is it?" Saphira hissed throwing her long braided hair from her face. "Ah, yes" she muttered and strided across the room to her cabinet, she drew out the bottom draw and pulled out a dark wooden box, shoving that into her bag she whistled long and high.
Shiya flew to her arm, gave a soft click and clung on tight. With one last look around the room Sapph gave a sad smile and apparated her way back to the castle named Magic Horizons.
No less than ten minutes later (and a lot of walking)Sapphira was standing outside of a large room.
Mentally shaking herself, Sapph yanked open the door and found herself face to face with the one that had plagued her thoughts for the last two hours.

OOC: *coughs* Dear Sapphira, you cannot Apparate or Disapparate inside the school grounds... But if you were going to the MoM, then that's different! *glomps* BIC: Kiki's head snapped up as her door was wrenched open. Sapphira stood in the doorway and looked less than willing to be there. "G'Day Sapph," Kiki smiled slightly as stood, a piece of parchment clutched in her own fist. She'd decided to try and make amends with Sapphira, but almost as soon as she'd sent off the first letter, Acerbus had sent her one, along the same vein as she'd sent to Sapphira. It had been strange reading it; it seemed that their minds were still on the same wavelength. "Please, come in," The situation was getting more and more awkward by the minute. Thankfully most portraits had taken the hint and wandered out of their frames. Bob Rainbow, however, was still on the walls.

ooc: Dearest Kiki, i thought that would be read the wrong way, i don't know how to word it but i know you cannot apparate or disapparate inside the walls of the castle. *squashes Fiona Mcintosh* yes well.
Bic: Sapph sat down as Kiki invited her in. Looking around at the famous Ministeress of Magics' office she thought for a moment that maybe this was not such a good idea.
She could see Kiki wasn't exactly her composed or confident self either.
Good She thought at least i'm not the only one.
With a deep breath Sapphira dared her first words to her old...friend for a long time, she trusted her voice not waver. "It is good to hear from you again Kiki, but what is it that you want?"

"What I want?" Kiki asked, confused. She had been fairly certain that her letter was clear. She really didn't want to go through it all again. Especially now that Ace was darting along the edges of her thoughts. That Vampire had always had impeccable timing.
"I want to forget everything that happened," She began, then paused. She didn't want to forget everything that had happened, that was a lie. She wanted Sapphira to forget what had happened. Then again, no she didn't. She wanted her behaviour and b****iness to be forgotten. She wanted Sapphira to see sense, to not blame herself or Ace, even though it was perhaps - indirectly - Ace's fault. But it wasn't really Ace's fault indirectly. It was his fault. He'd killed her and - no. She had to stop looking at it all in such a bad light. What had she accomplished out of it?
She searched her mind, but could come up with nothing. She held her head in her hands, suddenly defeated. Perhaps this wasn't the right thing to do. Maybe she was better off being totally independent and having no close friends and just having business associates.
With so many conflicting thoughts in her mind, she growled beneath her breath and regained her composure slightly.
"I want us to be friends again," She murmured.

The expression on Sapph's face softened as Kiki hung her head. She was different, Sapph could see that, all this time she had only wanted her friend back and this was it. No more fighting and no more weird behaviour, Kiki was back. She looked around the room composing herself and she saw some Australian inspired pieces in the room. A smile lit Sapphira's face as tears welled in her eyes. Stupid bloody emotions! She thought as she desperately swiped at the tears in her eyes.
In an instant Sapph had leapt the table and gathered Kiki up in her arms, hugging her fiercely. "Never do that again" she muttered with a laugh.

Sapphira shocked Kiki by leaping over the table and embracing her warmly. She honestly hadn't expected it to be that easy. After the way she'd treated her - if it had been the opposite way around Kiki never would have forgiven Sapphira, or Ace. She would rather have lost two of her best friends then let her pride and dignity be wounded.
But hadn't she done that? Hadn't she pushed away Alyssa and Sapphira in favour for her own power, for Ace. And she'd lost them all, even Ace had left her.
She fell into Sapphira's hug, barely remembering the last time she had been hugged like this. Damn that Vampire, Kiki thought bitterly. He had to just leave, didn't he?
"I have no intention of doing it ever again," Kiki replied in a whisper, her voice delivering all the emotion, but her violet eyes were suddenley cool, staring blankly at her noticeboard.

Sapphira laughed, highly elated with all the different emotions swirling inside of her. "Good." she muttered pulling back, she tried to see what was in Kiki' eyes but her gaze was trained elsewhere. Sapph tuned around to see what held Kiki's attention so firmly, she was looking at a noticeboard. What was wrong with it? Sapph thought curiously because she had never seen this board before.
"What is it, Kiki?" Sapph whispered, scared, that if she said it any louder, she would disturb something.
