A wind-blown girl stumbled into the Three Broomsticks, green and silver robes only slightly askew, and hair that, despite numerous attempts to fix it, was still fairly messed up. Artemis had come strait from the quidditch match, and was feeling slightly better than she had a few minutes ago; the short, but brisk, flight had cleared her head a lot better than anything else could've. Sitting down at one of the many tables in the place, she motioned for a waiter and ordered a butterbeer.
While waiting for her drink, Artemis couldn't help thinking about her tradition of coming here after every game. The games, admittedly, had been getting worse and worse. She sighed and prohibited herself from thinking about anything for the next few minutes.
The waiter returned with a glass that was filled to the edge with frothy butterbeer. The Slytherin sipped it quietly, enjoying the warmth that the drink provided her. Most of the pub's inhabitants were laughing, smiling. Ruefully, she told herself she shouldn't be sulking. The girl attempted a smile, but it turned out more as a grimace.

So the first Hufflepuff game of the year was over and done with, though for one little Hufflepuff girl, she was staying away from the common room for a while and headed to Hogsmeade instead.
Huddling back in her coat which she had run up to collect, the brunette brushed back her hair once again. She had scored not one, but two goals... it amazed her considering how low her confidence had been when she went out on the pitch. Though the agression that had come about suddenly had took her by surprise.
Shivering at remembering how she felt, Lottie pushed open the door to the Three Broomsticks and stepped inside. IT was still fairly quiet of students from the school, likely because of the match, though inside the pub, one girl did stand out. The Slytherin chaser.
Ordering a cocoa and walking over to the girl, Lottie held out a hand. "Hey... Good game. I'm Lottie, by the way. A chaser for the Hufflepuff team. Don't you think it was really close?"

The hinges on the door squeaked as someone entered, but Artemis didn't really pay it any mind. She doubted anyone would bother her. Hence, she was surprised when she was addressed. Artemis looked up from her customary after-the-game butterbeer and saw that the girl that was speaking to her was one of the chasers she had faced earlier that day. The girl had thrown a jacket over her canary yellow Quidditch robes. It made a slightly mismatched affect. Somehow, it suited her. Artemis shook the girl's hand, smiling despite herself. The other girl's upbeat personality was already getting her to feel better. Typical Hufflepuff, she supposed.
"I'm Artemis. Slytherin, obviously." That small smile touched her face again. It was getting easier and easier to grin now. "You can go ahead and sit down, if you want," Artemis offered, indicating one of the unoccupied chairs at the table.

"Are you sure?" Lottie questioned, her eyebrows high. "I mean, aren't you waiting for the rest of your team or something?" But then, at that moment, who was she to reject company. Smiling widely, the brunette girl shook her head. Was she trying to make excuses to be a loner nowadays?
Eventually, the smaller girl came out with: "Of course I'll sit with you!" before pulling out a chair and placing her warm cocoa in front of her. Though as soon as it was put down, her hands clasped around it. How she hated playing Quidditch in the cold...
"Have you been here for long?" Lottie asked curiously, watching the marshmallows in her drink bob up and down.
