Christmas Shopping

Rice, the mysterious boy who has been wandering around the large castle, has finally started to wander outside of the big school.
His sites were set on Hogsmeade Village, a place that he has been hearing about from any young girls he has met. A little while after leaving the castle he finally made his way to the village after getting lost a few times.

When he got to the Village he could spot a bunch of students that he knew from School. He just smiled at them and gandered at all the awesome gifts that he might want to get his friends.

Persephone had watched with apprehension as Christmas started to approach. She didn't mind the idea of love and joy and peace, but she wasn't too keen on being trampled in stores. Maybe that was why she had come out now, since she knew that many people were still procrastinating, at least most of her friends were.

Sephe walked on, a scarf and cloak wrapped tightly around the small Ravenclaw. Her long silver blonde hair was down as usual and the slight wind tossed and blew it around her face and body. Her large emerald eyes scanned the crowds of people, for even this early people were crowding the stores, for someone she knew.

Her eyes landed on a boy she'd met in the Entrance Hall, and Dante had hung out with after that. She figured that he was either lost or cofused juding by the dazed look in his eyes. Figuring it was best to help him, out Persephone walked towards him happily. Helping people always put her into a good mood, and it would be nice to talk to Rice for a little while.

"Oy! Rice! Wait up!"

She smiled brightly, and yelled as soon as she was close enough for him to hear her. Then she continued walking towards him hoping he wouldn't mind her company.

Samantha had been asleep long enough and pulled herself out of bed. She pulled her long hair back out of her face and into a bun on top of her head. She pulled on a pair of jeans, ripped as always, and a plain black sweater.

She went down to the great hall and saw everyone had already left, she figured she would run down to hogsmeade and hopefully catch up with some friends. She could see her breath in the cold air of winter and she watched it happily as she made her way down to the busy little village.She spotted Sephe at once, her friend was quite noticable, being small in size, but other then that almost identical to Samantha herself, with almost the same color of hair, and same shade of green eyes. They were quite alike. It took her more time to notice the boy she was trying to catch up with. Rice. She slowed herself almost to a stop wondering if she should approach or not. She decided she might as well. She needed to talk to Sephe some more, her old friend was one of the few who were left of her real friends. She didn't really know what she was to consider Rice.

Samantha walked over with a warm smile on her face and red cheecks. "Why, hello!" She said pleasantly to the two people.

The boy as he walked down the busy road to window shop for now. He heard a small voice, one he knew and he recoginzed instantly. His gaze shot from the goods in the windows to the sweet girl he'd met in the Enterence Hall who was very nice to him when he was new.
"Persephone, w-what are you doing here?!" He gulped, his eyes widened in suprize. He didn't want his friends to know he was going to buy them gifts yet.

Soon after he started to talk to Persephone he heard someone he'd never mistake for anyone else. His eyes got wider and his cheeks flushed a dark red from his embarrassment "H-hi you guys." He brought his hand to the back of his head and and scratched it as he laughed oddly "Heh heh! I'm just l-looking around... yeah that's right!"

Samantha noticed his wide eyed embarrassment. She didn't understand what for though. She just smiled at him again and then took a look around her. Throwing glob of hair down into her eyes.

"Gheeze," She said pulling a pin out of her pocket and then fixing it. " Anyway- what are the two of you doing down here today?" She asked looking from Sephe to Rice.

Rice, she knew that she kept looking at him, she hoped he didn't know. He does he's not stupid.. she thought. Fighting with herself inside her head. That one night when they met kept throwing itself into her memory, and every time she tried to push it farther away. Nothing worked. I am so bad at this whole inconspicuous thing aren't I? She asked herself, smirking at the ground because she knew the moment her eyes went up there he would be again.

[~Persephone~]

Persephone cocked her head to one side and her long silver blonde tresses fell in a cascade. She wondered why he was so embarrassed, and she smiled hoping that he would feel more comfortable. She'd met Rice on his very first day after all, and she got the feeling that wide eyed look was one of emabarrassment.

When Sam approached, Sephe smiled. It was nice to see her friend again, and she couldn't help but be happy. After all, Sam was one of the few people left that had been with her from the start of her school years till now. She felt that bond with Sam that was only felt by true friends.

As Sam and Rice talked and greeted each other, Sephe looked from one to other. She looked at Sam's averted eyes, and the innocent surprise in Rice's. Apparently, they knew each other. Or at least she thought they did.

"Er...do you guys know each other?"

[Samantha]

Samantha looked up at Sephe. She smiled, of course she would notice whatever it was between Rice and herself.

"Ah, yes, we met a bit ago.." She said simply. "By the lake I believe." She said with a look over at Rice, as though she wouldn't remember. What a night that was too. She didn't know how much more to say so she left it at that. Perhaps, she would tell her dear friend some other time about the happenings, that’s what best friends were for after all. However Sam didn't want to make this conversation more awkward then it was and so she decided to change the topic.

"You guys wanna go sit down and geta drink or something? I'm chilled." She said smiling once again

"Sounds good to me," Persephone said shrugging.

She trusted Sam to tell her later if she wanted too. She knew that Sam would tell her when the time was right, and she would wait until that time. No need to ask any awkward questions, and she didn't want to drive a wedge between herself and her friends.

"How about you Rice?"
