As Frassin walked into the crowded Three Broomsticks he held in one hand a purple shopping bag and a brown book bag hung over his shoulder. Before he could drop anything Frassin made his way through to a booth in the back corner. He threw his bags down onto the booth seats then sat down next to them.
Frassin looked out the window and watched as a large crowd of Ravenclaw students went by laughing. One of them, a girl no older than himself smiled at him but Frassin didn’t return the smile and only looked down at the table in front of him. When he looked back up the Ravenclaw girl and her pack had moved on. Frassin sighed and shrunk into his seat. Why was it that whenever a pretty girl so much as looked at him he got nervous or ignored her?
He leaned up in his seat just long enough to order a cold butterbeer then he slouched down into his seat again and waited.

Persephone found herself walking alone through Hogsmeade. She didn't really mind being alone, and it felt good to have her thoughts to herself. Of late she had been surrounded by friends and her sisters almost constantly for they feared she would suffer another attack. She on the other hand thought she might go insane if she didn't get to be free for a little while.
Naturally she had headed out as soon as she could, grabbing a cloak and gloves and pulling on a hat and wrapping a scarf around her small neck. Her long silver blonde hair fell down her back and ended at her waist, and her emerald eyes were large and expressive. There was a warmth in them that not even the chill of the air could take away. Her ivory skin was flushed at her cheeks, and her five foot height made her look younger than she really was.
As she walked by the stores, she saw the Three Broomsticks calling her name. She looked through the frosted glass and decided to go in. A butter beer sounded really nice. Sephe headed in and ordered one and looked for a place to sit down.
She really didn't want to sit alone and she spotted Roan and a boy sitting together. She headed towards them to ask if they minded if she joined.
"Hey do you guys mind if I join you?"

As Frassin stared down at the table in front of him he saw his reflection and it was almost sad what he saw. He saw a young boy staring back up at him with sad blue eyes and an all around look that made it seem that all of the happiness had been sucked out of him. It wasn’t until he realized that someone was standing over him that he looked up and took notice of the world around him.
Frassin looked up expecting to find the waitress he had just ordered from a few seconds ago but instead he saw a pretty Hufflepuff girl standing next to him as if waiting for a reply. For a second Frassin found it hard to react to the girls words but managed to stutter out; “Hello.”
Before he could say more another student, a blonde Ravenclaw girl walked over and asked: ”Hey do you guys mind if I join you?". For a second Frassin thought over the words “you guys”. Right away he guessed that the Hufflepuff girl must have asked to join him and he said coolly, “Sure, both of you please sit down.
“My name is Frassin by the way.”

"My name's Persephone, but my friends call me Sephe. It's a pleasure to meet you Frassin!"
Persephone grinned at the boy. He seemed to have been in a day dreamer when they had come up to him, and she was glad to have his company. It nice to be around some one who wasn't fussing over her all the time, and telling her that she had to be careful or she wouldn't make it to tomorrow.
"What house are you in?"
It seemed like a common way to start a conversation and it wasn't so personal that some one wouldn't answer.

“I’m a Gryffindor,” Frassin replied to Persephone. He felt himself a bit more at ease by the friendliness of both girls and now his stutter had disappeared. The waitress showed up with his drink. He thanked her and took a sip of his butterbeer.
“So, Sephe, what sort of things do you like to do during your down time here?”

"Almost anything I can. I play Quidditch when ever I can, but I love reading and sometimes sketching. How about you?"
She had noticed his stutter had disappeared, and she was glad that he had relaxed. She never liked making people nervous, and she often found herself trying to get people to calm down. Frassin though, seemed like a kind boy, and she was certain that she would get a long with him.

“I like Quidditch too, although I’ve never been very good at it. My parents own a bookstore so I read all the time and other than that I like to play music on my mother’s piano,” Frassin took another sip of his butterbeer.
“So do you play quidditch for your house team?” Frassin asked curiously.

"Yep. I play seeker and I'm co-captain. It's really fun too. It's like a little family, and you get to know everyone really well. We're all really close."
Persephone looked up, saw a waitress and was handed her butter beer. The liquid ran down her throat filling her with the heavenly taste. She was a sucker for butter beer.
"Maybe you should try out for Gryffindor."

“I could,” Frassin replied as if he were thinking it over. He took a third sip of his butterbeer then said, “but I’m not really a good player.”

"Don't worry about it. My twin played for Gryffindor, but she got hurt. She practiced all the time with me because she wanted to get better, and I don't think you'd be that bad of a player."
She smiled again. She had the feeling that Frassin really was a good player, but he was too shy to really admit it to himself no matter what anyone told him.
