Wyl and Lottie walked hand in hand toward Hogsmeade. He'd organised a special surprise for her and was itching to get her to Hogsmeade to show her. He hadn't told her that there was something that waited for them at the village, so he had to try and hide his excitement as they strolled along at an excrutiatingly slow pace, Wyl teasing Lottie continually, roaring with laughter as they talked about random nothingness.
They finally arrived at the village and Wyl lost no time in getting toward the place that contained her surprise.
"Come with me," He took her by the hand and the pair ducked and dodged through the crowd before finally arriving outside the Ice-Cream Shop that was surprisingly empty on account of the 'CLOSED' sign on the door. He grinned and turned to Lottie, stepping beind her and covering her eyes.
"Trust me," He told her and walked her slowly through the open window into the shop. He paused for a moment before taking his hands from her eyes with a flourish.
"Ta Da!" Wyl grinned triumphantly and looked at the scene around them. It was exactly as he'd asked - the ice-cream parlour had every single concievable ice cream flavour surrounding one table that had a radio floating next to it, a bunch of ridiculously big flowers and a decent sized box on the ground by one of the chairs.
"Happy Anniversary," Wyl announced, pushing his glasses up his nose a little higher, anxious as to how Lottie would react.

The day had been approaching for a while, now, and Lottie had wondered if this month, Wyl would remember. It was true that it wasn't exactly a big thing, but seven months was a long time for students at the school, and the past seven months hadn't exactly been easy. But hey, Wyl had managed to get her through every trial, had been there at every party she had held, had helped her calm down in general. Okay, she would still have her days where everyone would hear her all day long, but in general, she had calmed down a lot.
It was strange, as they walked into Hogsmeade, how excited Wyl seemed. Admittedly he was trying to hide it, but with little success, and when he cut through their conversation, it seemed even stranger. Nevertheless, the brunette followed him, and they ended up outside the ice cream parlour that was closed that day for the Bank Holiday. Raising a brow, her eyes were quickly covered, and she was walked somewhere... somewhere she couldn't see.
However as Wyl took his hands away, Lottie's eyes widened hugely as she glanced around, barely hearing the Happy Anniversary as she took in the numerous flavours of ice cream, the colourful flowers on the table, the radio playing out their favorite band, and the box on the floor. Squealing with delight, the Hufflepuff girl turned around and stood on tiptoes to wrap her arms around Wyl and hug him tightly. "Happy Anniversary!" she repeated, standing back a little.
"You did all this... for me?!"

In response, Wyl kissed her.
"Of course I did," He cleared his throat. "Wouldst fair maiden wish to receive her gift from her bespectacled noble?" He grinned as he replayed some of their 'original' Shakespearean dialogue and led her over to the box, knowing what her reply would be already. He gestured for her to open it and once she had, roared with laughter at the expression on her face.
A puppy cockerspaniel, fur all a caramel brown colour, a red ribbon tied in a bow around her neck - Lady and the Tramp style - leapt out of the box and into Lottie's arms.
"Surprise," Wyl said, laughing.

Lottie couldn't help but laugh at the Shakespeare repition. If it wasn't for her own love of Shakespeare, where would the two of them be now? Not together was the only answer she could come up with.
Nodding quickly as Wyl asked if she would like to open her present, the brown haired girl carefully undid the orange ribbon on the box and opened it. The expression on her face was mingled between shock and delight. "A PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!" she squealed, laughing as it licked her all over her face.
Falling on to the floor, the little puppy scrambled to lick her even more. "That tiiiiiickles!!!" Lottie laughed, managing to get ahold of the cockerspaniel and cuddling it to her, shining brown eyes looking back to Wyl. "You shouldn't have," Lott smiled, walking closer and standing on tiptoes to kiss him. Wait until he got back and saw what she had got for him..
