It was raining miserably. So much that anyone who went outside for a walk would be covered in rain in less than a minute. But there was one boy, by the name of Yamaroshi who, for some reason, found great pleasure in walking around in the rain. He didn't know why, but watching the rain fall and listening to it smash into the ground was...well, fun. It always made him want to go for walks.
He was on his way to Honey Dukes. Not because he particularly enjoyed their sweets, but because he thought it silly to go for a walk without a destination. Unfortunately, he didn't know exactly where Honey Dukes was. He found himself pacing around Hogsmead looking at every building, hoping it might be Honey Dukes. After about an hour, he finally found Honey Dukes. To his frustration, he had already passed it about three times without realizing.
With a sigh, walked toward the building. As he opened the door, he realized how just how muddy his rain boots were. Not wanting to track footprints all over the shop, he wiped his boots off on the concrete just outside the shop, and again on the mat placed inside.
The boy knew neither what he was looking for, nor what he could afford. He simply paced the shop as he looked at the sweets being sold.

Mikayla smiled sweetly at the man behind the counter at Honey Dukes. It was true, she had been there for three hours, but she was damned if she was going to go out into the torrent of rain and get soggy wet. "No, you listen to me." Mika said, fire bright blue eyes glinting with annoyance. "It is wet and cold out there and I am not going out until the rain stops." The man leaned over the desk, eyeing the young woman hungrily. It was true, Mikayla had a gorgeous shape to her, all thin muscle and curves. Her hair was golden brown and curled loosely from roots to biceps. She was clothed in a black wife beater and jeans, black high-heeled boots completing the outfit perfectly.
Mikayla, noticing the look, growled at the man and took some candy-chewy beans of some kind-and smacked them atop the counter. "There, I'm a customer, not a soliciter anymore. Ring me up so I can get the heck out of here." He smiled at her, all disgusting charm, and rang up the candy, awaited her payment, and, having it, proceeded to let his unwanted eyes ooze over her figure. Giving him the middle finger, Mika turned without looking, was halfway out the door, when she bumped into someone. "Ah jeez, I'm sorry," she said, anger forgotten as her usual kind, polite self emerged. Dominating blue eyes met the boy's and Mikayla smiled at him, sensing an excuse to stall for more time in warmth. "I'm Mikayla Siarra," she stated, sliding a glare back to the cashier. "I was just heading out. Sorry I so rudely and litterally ran right into you."

Yamaroshi was caught slightly off guard. He knew the other girl was in the shop, but he didn't take any real notice to her presence. He only really noticed her when he saw her coming roughly in his direction and was too late to step out of the way.
He stepped back with his left foot to catch his balance. Although he realized it wasn't his fault, he opened his mouth to say 'sorry', but was cut off by the girl. He listened to her speak. But it was rather awkward. She had apologized, introduced herself, then apologized again. He had no idea how he should respond--he could either ignore the apology and introduce himself or simply accept the apology and avoid introducing himself.
The boy simply shrugged. "'sokay," he said unemotionally, even though he was rather irritated.
He did take a very slight notice of her appearance. He vaguely realized that many other males would be all over her. But Yamaroshi wasn't known for lecherousness, or even for feeling any real attraction towards anybody. It just wasn't something he ever really cared about, despite the fact that he did once have a girlfriend.
Yamaroshi wanted to continue to browse the shop, but thought it might be rude to simply walk away.

Mikayla smiled at him, and all she got in return was a 'sokay.' Then he walked away. Darn it, he was taking her excuse to stay in the store away! She glanced at the cashier and all it took was one look at his horrible face to get her trailing after the boy she bumped into. "Wait," she said, no more above the usual way of talking, but still more audible than normal. Her senses screemed at her not to bother him any longer, his scent seemed interesting...jaded, almost, like one who didn't care. Better than the smell of a lack of showers and more grime than she knew how to find on the man. And besides, it could just be the sweet smell of candy in her nostrils, making the boy seem like someone not to talk to.
Shrugging the sensation that she shouldn't have been doing it off, Mikayla walked back up to the boy, smile not wavering on iota. "Please, I didn't catch your name....you must be a student up at Magical Horizons, and, if I see you in the halls I want to be able to say more than, 'Hey person I accidentally knocked over in Honey Dukes.'" Great one, Mika, she thought to herself. You want to be able to call him more than a name he wouldn't catch running by you. Real smooth....Priorities! Stay inside and talk, or leave. So start talking better! Personal pep rally over, Mikayla watched the boy for any signs of annoyance. It wouldn't be good to frustrate someone in a store where she was no longer welcome...

It was a good thing Yamaroshi didn't decide to leave. Mikayla seemed eager for his name. More eager than he'd ever known anyone to have been. At least he didn't have to worry about ignoring her introduction.
Yamaroshi wasn't one who particularly enjoyed conversation, or even encountered it very often. He mostly kept to himself, and nowadays only talked with his golem, Kamaroshi. But it wasn't as if he tried to avoid conversation either.
The boy hesitated slightly. He was always rather reluctant to give out his name, although he didn't know why. Mikayla's apparent eagerness to know his name made him even more reluctant. Still, Yamaroshi decided to keep his manners and respond. "I'm Yamaroshi," he said. "And ya, I go to the school". He hoped now that he had introduced himself, he would be able to look for some candy to buy.

Mikayla's smile was now only an upturning of the lips as she noticed every single sign that the boy did not want her there. He introduced himself, however, so that at least gave her a bit of a step up. "Pleasure to meet you, Yamaroshi." In her studying of Yamaroshi, she realized that he definately wanted to get away from her. Well, she wasn't going to make it that easy on him. Her smile came back, full wattage, and showed him the candy she got, something called 'Bertie Bott's Beans.'
"I've never seen these before, have you?" she asked, looking at the cover to try and figure out what in Great Paw's tail she had bought. She laughed then, a sound that only hinted at what Mikayla's voice would be like in song. "I just bought them because they looked interesting. Perhaps you could lead me to a better choice, or give me any warnings or pleasantries about the candy you may hold?"
