Leila Blanche sat in the Three Broomsticks, envoloped in the heat of the roaring fire and squishy arm chair. She sighed in unwanted relaxation. She had a package of mathches in her hand, nearing empty, the used ones resting on her lap. She was restless and anxious, which was all to clear on her ushually impassive face. Her sharp liquid brandy colored eyesbounced from every face in the pub. Framing her unwashed thin face was light brown wavy hair that was carelessly held by a plain barret. She wore a brown tanktop and too big olive plaid button up shirt, with baggy khakis and coverse shoes with peeling soles. Her nails which were shortened by being knawed on twiddled right before she struck each math, only to wave it out and add it to the pile. At Her feet sat a little black and white kitten with large brown eyes who batted at nothing. He had on a red coller and a copper disk had the name BOB on it. The clumsy kitten tripped over her feet unnoticed leeting out a little "Mew" before scampering off.

Lars stepped into the 'Three Broomsticks', which was the first time he ever set a foot inside a pub. He was too young to drink, and he didn't want, to but he remembered from his first year that this was a god place for relaxation. Lars saw a little cat scamper passed him, but he did not see anything else about the kitten.
Lars walked over to nicely arranged furniture, that sat in front of a fireplace. As he jaunted closer, he saw that somebody else was there. Lars finally reached the chairs, and sat down in one, it was to the right of the female.
"Hello, I am Lars Claybourne. I am in Hufflepuff," Lars introduced himself. He smiled to the female, he had never seen her before, and wondered if she was new. The flames from the fire place, felt good against his body, which had been outside the whole day.

Leila jumped at the voice that seem to come out of no where. She looked at him as if he was confused for a moment. " Leila Blanche." she said in her ushual buisness like tone. "Slytherine." She added noticing that he had said his house name while introducing himself. She brushed the burned out match stick off her lap and tuged on a loose lock of hair. As she eyed him with unconsiences suspicen She wondered what to say. People skilles were not her strong suit. Then BOB jumped clumsely on to her lap giving another meek "Mew." before curling into a ball and washing it's face.

Lars saw the cat jumped onto the female's lap, and then saw the collar. The collar said 'BOB.' "Is that you cat?" Lars asked Leila. He looked at the fireplace again, the flames burned a little hooter than before. The flames seems hotter now, because I was in the cold, and now I am in the warm. My body temperature changed, and the flames just added onto the heat, Lars thought up. He was always thinking, trying to convince him everything was alright.
Lars put his gaze back on Leila. "I myself have an owl. A very plumped on at that. Samus, is it's name," Lars said quietly. He wasn't good with conversations and meeting new people, so this was hard for him. He sat his fencing gear down, and leaned back on the comfortable, crimson chair.

Thalia wandered into The Three Broomsticks, feeling she was off to a bad start. Last night, her very first at Magic Horizons, terror had kept her awake until 1am, when she finally succumbed to her weariness. Then she was tortured for three hours by It, as she knew she would be. Damn thing gets a kick out of messing with my dreams. she thought bitterly. It had been a singularly unpleasant night; she'd woken at 4 am feeling even more exhausted than when she went to bed. She wasn't sure whether or not she was supposed to have lessons today. She didn't remember recieving any sort of timetable, but then, in her current state of sleepy confusion she probably wouldn't remember her home being destroyed, or any other life-changing event either. On the whole it probably didn't matter. She wouldn't be any use in lessons if she was half asleep. She made her way to the bar and ordered a very large cup of very, very strong coffee.

Thalia drained her coffee, relishing the heat that it spread through her body, and drew a deep breath. The air in the pub was warm and carried the scent of food, woodsmoke, and too many bodies packed into too little space. Turning to the bar again she ordered another cup of coffee which she imbibed more slowly, peering around the room over the rim of her mug. It was filled with tables, which were filled with people, eating, drinking, talking, laughing, gesturing animatedly, and, in one corner, singing a slurred song the lyrics of which were probably far from savoury. Just looking at all this living going on made her want to go straight back to the dorm and crawl under the warm blankets of the bed she had so recently abandoned.
Her reverie was interrupted by a soft pressure on her ankle, and looking down she saw the culprit: a small black and white kitten rubbing itself against the hem of her jeans. Putting her cup down on the bar she bent down to stroke it, but apparently the little animal had different plans. It dodged her hand nimbly and trotted over to the fireplace, where it leapt onto an enormous squishy armchair and curled up in the lap of the occupant; a thin brunette with a pile of -- she looked closer -- burnt-out matches sitting at her feet.

"Mew." BOB said reappearing on Leila's lap. She looked over at the girl stareing at her, and nodded her head in greeting. "Mew." The kitten insisted. She grabbed the kitten by the knapp of it's neck and set it on the floor where it intertained itself with her loose matches. "Annoying little fuzzball, no?" She said uncomfertabley trying to make conversation in the booming silence.

"Well I guess that would mean it is yours if someone gave it to you," Lars said as he yawned. Lately, he has not been getting a lot of sleep, and that effected him in everyday tasks such as talking. Which was never one of his strong points in the first place. "I guess he is, but I never had a cat, so I wouldn't be able to judge how annoying it really is," Lars admitted. He put his hands on his knees and thought about his life at the school. How wonderful it had been, how many friends he actually made. This school was the best thing that ever happened to him.
Starting the conversation back up, Lars said, "I found my owl in the barn of my family's farm. I some how convinced them to let me keep him. Samus has been acting a little wild lately, so I put him in the Owlery." He turned his head back, and saw another female. Lars did not want to attempt another introduction right now, but he will if he feels he needs to.

Thalia decided to introduce herself to the people sitting by the fire. After all, she had nothing better to do and the coffee had woken her up a little. She set down her cup and went over to them.
"Hi. I'm Thalia. Thalia Heybern." She held out her right hand, nervously fingering her necklace with the other. She wasn't used to meeting people.
