Once they had made it through the seemingly endless tunnels leading to the famous village of Hogsmeade, in the light Carmen took Accutio’s hand, leading the way. Even though she had no idea where everything was, she lead him to a sign that said ‘The Three Broomsticks.’ Thinking to herself, I think this must be some sort of restaurant.
And she wasn’t wrong. Within the smokey, dark atmosphere, the two clambered between chairs and people, trying to reach the bar. “This looks like a nice place to start, Accutio!” she stated towards the boy. Suddenly realising her hand had still held onto his, she let it go quickly, blushing a little.

Carmen led him through the streets, but it seemed that she really didn't know where she was going at all. And all that time she was holding his hand firmly, as if she didn't want to let go - ever. It was really nice for Accutio. They got to the bar (finally) and they sat, Carmen still holding on.Even holding onto his hand in the first place seemed to be a surprise to him, let alone still holding onto it.
She suddenly let his hand go and blushed. Awww..., Accutio thought. That was really nice...
At the instant she realised she was still clinging on and let go, Accutio stared blankly into the bar and started running his finger around in a circular motion, still blushing aswell. And he couldn't get that damn grin off his face...

(*laughs*)
It seemed as though she wasn’t the only one that felt the way she did. Although she didn’t really have a clue on how he felt, her feelings were undescribable. Whilst cradling her hand that held onto Accutio with the other, her eyes scanned the drinks and food available. What a time.
With her flooded cheeks fading into their usual pale-with-a-reddish-tinge way, her eyes spotted a well known drink – and the only wizarding one she knew of. A butterbeer.
With the barman glancing over at the two, he strode to them behind the bar. “Can I ‘elp ye’?” his disgruntled voice asked.
The young Carmen spoke up, with a glance to Accutio. “Can we have two Butterbeers, please?”

Carmen ordered two butterbeers and Accutio saw her cradling one of her hands. He then lent over the bar and yelled at the barman, "Hey, and a bag of nuts too!"
He then stared at what Carmen was wearing. what the hell is she wearing...?Accutio thought. At that time, he snapped back into reality and realized he was staring. "Um...er...umer...why are you holding your hand?" he nervously asked.

With Accutio’s addition, Carmen smiled. But it caught her attention. Was he staring? Oh well. It didn’t really matter to her.
Once he asked the question about her hands, they snapped around her back. “Oh, nothing. I’m not doing anything. I’m not holding anything. I was,” she hinted, “but not now…” Her words came out stuttered
The barman came back, tossed the packet of nuts to Accutio’s part of the bar, and placed the two drinks on the bar in front of Carmen. “Thanks.” She muttered, handing over a few golden coins. With one sip, her insides melted, warming instantly from the cold wind and snow outside. But they weren’t her thoughts.

When the barman threw the packet of nuts to Accutio, it was unaware to Carmen that it hit him square in the face. Owie... Accutio thought as he frowned.
Accutio looked over to Carmen sipping her butter beer and thought to himself, wow, she's really cute...AAHHGG!! Gotta stop thinking about her....
"Hey Carmen," Accutio asked, "Have you met any other guys around here?, im not hinting at anything at all, just curious, thats it, just curious, nothing else, don't worry..." and thats when Accutio stuffed his face full of nuts - to hide the blushing.

With the butterbeer up to her mouth, between swallowing Accutio asked her something. Perhaps they should move away from the bar. Carmen grew slightly uncomfortable where she sat. Feeling unsafe, if you will.
Once she placed the drink gingerly down on the bar, she replied with another question. "Do you think we could move to a table? Those arm-chairs sure do look inviting..." the girl blushed a little, hoping he couldn't see right through her sapphire eyes.

Noticing the severe blush that Carmen was letting off, Accutio smiled back and replied to her question. "Yeah sure, why not, After all they do look quite inviting."
Accutio could'nt help himself, he had to say something to Carmen but he could'nt force it out - untill now. "Hey...um...Carmen...you...ah...look really...um...pretty...?" Accutio said quietly. He then noticed that Carmen probably couldn't hear him.Dammit...oh well.

Finally, her flooding red cheeks drained as she nodded to him. But it didn't stay like that for long, due to his compliment.
She could only just hear his uttered words, but they were clear as crystal. He complimented her. A very long time since she had one like that. Not since back in Victoria. "Thank you..." she replied with yet another blushed smile.
With that said, Carmen then paced slowly over to a corner armchair, with Accutio's hand within her own. Once she reached the table and chair, she offered him the seat after letting go of his hand, and proceeded to cross her legs and squat on the ground.

Carmen had let him sit on the chair instead of himself, which was quite nice of her Accutio thought.
"I'm glad that you are thankfull for my compliment - I thought that you may have slapped me or something, but yeah. Anyway, why are you sitting on the ground?, im pretty sure that two people can fit on this chair. Care to join?" Accutio gladly invited.
"Well," Accutio added, "My compliment...I was only speaking the truth - you are really pretty." Accutio was well aware he was flirting his ass off - but he wanted to.

What a strange thing. Nothing like this had ever happened at home. Maybe it was England... or maybe the magical community. Carmen shrugged, "I don't understand why I would slap you..."
With his offer for her to join him, her heart beated just that slight bit faster. Should she? Tensing her leg muscles, she lifted herself up from the ground, and stepped over to the chair, and let herself slide in beside him. It was a tight squeeze. "I don't think I can fit..." she muttered with a whimpered grin.
"I didn't think guys like freaks with blue hair..." came her reply as she wriggled out of her place beside him, standing up.

Hearing a negative comment come from Carmen was quite unexpected - let alone the fact that it was about herself. Accutio stood up next to her and said, "But I like your blue hair, it may be giving off an ecstatic look but that's why I like it I guess. And what makes you a freak? You seem normal enough. And yes, I like you...woopsy...I'll shuddup now."
Accutio couldnt help but say, "There is something about you that makes me want to kiss you all the time...OH CRAP!!! DID I JUST SAY THAT!?!?!?!, im sorry if I offended you."
"But I still reckon your quite attractive" Accutio added with a grin. I must come off as a sleezebag...

What could she say? Carmen had never been in such a situation before... It was nervracking, and yet not. It didn't make sense at all. It seemed like a much easier thing to deal with when she was held by the throat close to the ivory-tressed demoness in the forest...
Again, she shrugged. "Well, not many people have blue hair... I've been looked down on for it..." But something made her shut up. He liked her? Her?? Kiss her?? God it all came so quickly...
"Uh..." she began, "how long.. have you been... here?" The Hufflepuff finally took notice of what was on his blazer. The Slytherine badge. She had been told so many times that Slytherines were the worst towards the other houses... and yet... Accutio was different. A lot different.

Noticing her quiver a little made him panic - Accutio realised he had screwed up real bad and now he would never get to be with her. He knew that he had only known her for a very little time, but still...
Accutio then sat back down and answered glumly, looking depressed, he said, "This is my second year at MH, and its going okay." God, he felt like an idiot. He knew that the second he said that he thought she was pretty, that it was all going to go downhill.

Oh no. She did this. Carmen made him sad. Not again. Not here. Please, not here. As Accutio stepped back down to rest in the chair, Carmen stepped forward, standing closer to him now, just less than 1/2 a metre between their noses.
"I... I really didn't mean to offend you... Accutio... I'm so sorry..." Carmen took long breaks after every few words, trying to clean up the muddled mess in her mind. About a month here and she had already screwed up with a new friend. Great. Fantastic! Just what she needed at another school…<br> Taking a hopeful look and offering it towards Accutio, the blue-haired girl asked, "Mind if I sit with you?" Maybe she could patch things up if she sat with him... on him... Carmen remained the same distance from him, but bent down so she could see eye-to-eye with him.
