Renatta stumbled out of the castle and down to the graveyard. She knew none of the names on the graves, but something called her. Renatta shivered; it was very cold. She sat down with her back against the back of a tombstone. Nobody would see her, that was how she wanted it. Her Seer's blood ability twitched, she felt she must See something. A moment later, her eyes blazed.
She saw a fleeting image of a boy. He was young, but not too young. He looked about fourteen or fifteen. He was in the middle of a darkened graveyard, like Renatta was. His hair was black, and he wore glasses. He was screaming; a tall figure was hurting him with it's wand. The image blurred in Renatta's Sight. The next moment, she saw a huge glittering web of gold. Shadowy figures moved around inside. The tall figure was on one side of it, the boy on the other. This time Renatta saw a large group of hooded people. The boy broke the web, it disappeared. He ran away, seemingly to nowhere. The hooded people chased him, firing spells. The boy suddenly lunged, and took hold of something Renatta hadn't seen: a glittering trophy. There was a blaze of colored light, and-
And the vision was gone. Renatta blinked several times. Her head swam. She hadn't seen the future, sheknew exactly what she had Seen.
Renatta had had a vision of the past. But how, and why? She knew the story, and it fit with the vision. It couldn't have been the future, it was most definitely the past. Renatta couldn't tell how she had gotten such a vision, but it frightened her. She had never known anyone to have Seen the past-
Renatta stood, lurching. Her stomach reeled. She turned and began to run towards the exit. She tripped over a tree root, and fell with a cry of pain. Her ankle was twisted in a way no ankle should be; it was obviously broken. Renatta tried to stand, but couldn't. She hoped someone would come and help her soon. Her heart and head were pounding.
It was all too strange.

A ferocious wind ripped off most of the remaining leaves, pointlessly dangling from the hibernating trees. By now, though, they had all crumbled and remained lifeless. Still, their dead clutches continued to grip onto the once nourishing branch. The little strands of cellulose were the mere things that connecting the two organs. The leaf wasn't wasting its time; it's time was gone; the leaf was dead, and had no life to deal with. Of course, the cycle of life would continue for the tree. It would sacrifice its useless organ to help itself survive. The leaf would soon decay and return its nutrients to the soil like how a parent bird would regurgitate its food to fill its chick.
All around, sleep was everywhere. Few sounds were being made by the gentle crunching of snow, and most organisms were sleeping. The slept as if they were dead; the only signs of life that remained for the organisms was the exceedingly slow metabolism. Sounds were little as if the Earth was a vat of silence. Eventually, a small yelp vibrated throughout the air and the Great Halls doors were continuously closing and opening; snow only suctioned them into place for so long.
After the organisms would awaken in the spring, they would feel groggy, sluggish, and hungry. Today, the chilled air gently stung uncovered flesh and dried a few reluctant eyes. If you didn't walk on the path, the snow was bound to sink into your shoes, melt there, and try refreezing while under your clothing. Normally, it made a person hop around a bit or feel rather uncomfortable. The handles to the outside were like frozen metal; they burned your skin in a way that didn't leave too much pain.
The taste of the air was cold, empty, and lifeless. The prefect's mouth easily dried with the temperature. Of course, there was little left to smell, either; it was so called that you would immediately start to sneeze if you were to breath through your nose. A girl chose to suck in air through her moister mouth and to exhale through her nose, watching as a little mist was created through both exits.
Teagan was wearing a black sweatshirt that easily kept her warm. Unlike her shirt, her pants were only blue jeans and cold air easily cut through it as if her pants were like shaded glass to light; the light always came through. Her soft, red locks patiently drifted behind her, trailing to her waist. Some of the red bangs traced her smooth, gently pinking face like how delicate wording graced a quality broom. Still, quidditch season was on a hold for this time of the year; the temperature made things too unwanted for the crowd, the referee, or the players.
She stealthy movements carried her over a path of snow that was firm because of pressure. It was amazing how students could just walk and walk and walk over the snow and it would be crunched into a formidable solid object. Most would consider it fun, as well; this little thought was often used to create snowballs which then proceeded to be thrown around the air, whacking students in their skulls.
This was Teagan's first trip to the graveyard. She'd gone nearly everywhere else around the school, but she always avoided the graveyard. Unfortunately, she believed that it would remind her of her parents and sister; they were long dead, and long gone; she was grateful for that fact. Now, they were less of a distraction for her, but their help had aided her more than it hindered her. At the moment, she was going to the graveyard to find who cried out. Normally, she wouldn't care, but she was bored, now, and it didn't take too much curiosity to overcome her because of that little factor.
It appeared that another student had been the one that shouted. She was standing awkwardly, and one of her feet was in an odd position; it seemed that something happened her ankle, and that something didn't look as if it felt too pleasant. The girl's expression was of shock, and it was obvious that something had shaken her up. It was so visible that it must have excited her so much that she acted without focusing. Thus, she was in the predicament she was in now.
"Excuse me," called out Teagan from the graveyard's entrance, "but do you want some help?" It was as clear as a full moon on a cloudless night that she needed help, but she either wasn't going to except the Ravenclaw's offer or she was. If she would have preferred to stubbornly remain the way she was, Teagan would let her do so. Teagan's scarlet orbs silently observed the hurt girl from where she stood.

Renatta looked up, hearing a voice. There was another person moving towards her, asking if she needed help. "Oh, yes!" she cried desperately. "Yes, please, can you help me get to the castle? I think my ankle's broken, but I can't tell for sure." Renatta breathed a sigh of relief. Help had arrived. It was a Ravenclaw girl. As she approached, Renatta smiled. "Hi, I'm Renatta. It's er, nice to meet you, I suppose. Although not in the best of circumstances." She laughed bitterly. "So what's your name?" she inquired.

OOC: I hope you don't mind my character working so quickly.
IC: The injured girl's tender eyes looked upward, toward the prefect, at the sound of Teagan simple words. Apparently, the way she had gotten hurt was causing some severe pain and the little signals along her nervous system were easily causing her to feel a lot of distress. The gracious look in her expression, the intense yearning she had when someone spoke of help, the way her body was shivering from shock; she most certainly wanted help. Hurting her ankle had also caused her to have shock, a defense mechanism, to be active. As the young prefect knew, shock was not fun. Shock was also caused by a great physical injury.
Believably, the girl's voice became very active with the effects from the shock. When someone was experience that, they tended not to talk at all of talk repetitively and constantly. This student was definitely taking the latter option, to Teagan's dismay. The shivering girl quickly mewed out a "yes," even though it was obvious from her expression to know that was how she'd act. Then, her statement was followed by begging for help in getting to the castle and saying that she thought she had broken her ankle. Pleasantly sighing, she also said that her name was Renatta, made a stressed joke about their meeting, and asking what Teagan's name was.
It seemed that neither girl was wearing their school uniforms, so Teagan didn't know what house Renatta was from. Most likely, she was from one of the school houses because she had asked to go to the castle rather than into Hogsmeade; Hogsmeade didn't have any particular medical care, but the prefect estimated that it was a little closer, though more of a difficult journey, than the school. At the school, the nurses, such as Shae and Kasey, would quickly be able to deal with injuries. Renatta also appeared to be within the range of ages of students that were enrolled in Magic Horizons. Teagan also was, but she was also a prefect. Of course, the other student didn't know that she was a prefect because, once again, Teagan had hid her badge in her pocket.
As for being helped to the castle, Teagan would be able to do so. Of course, she could not take the faster task of using apparition; not that she knew it, anyway. The hurt girl who was acting so oddly made it difficult to know if she had been old enough to learn apparition. Then, it didn't actually matter because they were unable to apparate into the school. As usual, there were other methods. One of which would consist of Teagan carrying or helping the other girl walk to the school, but that would have been rather inconvenient for the both of them. The easiest method would simply be to use magic, and Teagan new a few spells that could help get them to their new destination faster.
The girl had said that she thought that she had broken her ankle. Apparently, this had been caused by her fear of something; if she had been less hasty or in a rush, then it was unlikely that she would have gotten hurt at all. At least, it was one of the colder days outside, and the chill would probably help to lessen the swelling of her joint. Their resources were all around them: Teagan's wand, the snow, the gravestones, and the ice. Thanks to magic, not all of the basics around them would need to be used.
After Renatta had said, "Yes," Teagan had immediately started walking forward, though she did so quickly and cautiously. Her fiery red hair was dancing around her dark sweatshirt, her pale face, and was showing up against the white show. Without replying to the other girl's question, Teagan had knelt, her knee became soaked in the snow, and she had begun observing the other girl's broken ankle. The swelling had already begun to make the joint much larger than it normally was.
With one simple word, the unidentified prefect answered the question of her name. "Teagan," was what she said with the soft tone of voice she usually used. She had tossed off the word as if it had been nothing; a mere word like "the" or "it"; she had stated it as something less deserving of her attention or mattering at all. Since she had walked into the graveyard, she had kept the same apathetic expression, but it was slightly more focused looking since the girl had replied to the prefect's question. Her name was just a name, and she most certainly wasn't going to tell the other girl what her last name was; though that was also a mere name, she didn't like who it represented.
Teagan was the second youngest prefect at Magic Horizons by two months, unknown to the other girl; after all, it was unlikely that she would know who Teagan was since she wasn't wearing her badge. Now, she still didn't bother to get it out, but she did pull out her wand. "Engorgio," she muttered and quickly flicked her wand at the girl's shoe, making it become about one and a half times larger than it was originally. Next, she shoved her hands into some nearby snow, lifting it and placing it into the empty space within the large shoe. She was wearing black fingerless gloves, but it didn't take too long for her revealed fingers to begin numbing; hopefully, the same effect would be felt with the girl's ankle.
More and more snow was gathered until Renatta's hurt ankle was completely covered in it. After this was done, Teagan quickly preformed her favorite spell. "Glacio." The snow became much less flaky around the girl's ankle and was stuck in its place. Not being a nurse, Teagan was careful about leaving Renatta's socks on and not plastering too much snow around the hurt joint.
Of course, it was still very likely that the limb would end up moving with their travel, so the prefect also preformed Ferula and the foot was adjusted into a strait position from Renatta's ankle by becoming wrapped up into a firm splint. Hopefully, I'm doing this right... thought Teagan silently. Her slender fingers had become not so slender and were now full of thickened blood. As she rubbed and flexed them, little cramps darted through the little appendages.
After doing the previous steps, she stood wearily due to some less evident cramping among her legs from kneeling. Contiguously, she messaged her fingers. Her movements were slower than they would have been if she was in a warmer area, such as the school, but she wasn't. Teagan was at a small disadvantage if anyone chose to attack her soon. For all she knew, the other girl would end up as more of an enemy than an ally, but Teagan wasn't off-guard; she had been crisply noting any actions from her companion, though there was still no reason to mistrust her, yet.
Of course, doing everything she had recently done was conspicuous; something that proved once again that Teagan had her own secrets. She had practiced this once before when she had sprained her ankle while running outside in winter. As usual, her flimsy ankles had caused her pain. Fortunately, she was in a magical area and was able to use her wand without getting in trouble. Unfortunately, she really didn't have much of a clue what to do and had ended up sitting on the ground for quite a while from shock before thinking of a solution. Thus, it had hurt very much. After that instance, she had payed a little more attention to spells for injuries.
"Are you ready to go? I can carry you by magic, if you want." Unlike her statement, her voice held little compassion in the cold weather. She really hoped that Renatta would be able to make a decision quickly. She hadn't asked the other girl about her house, but she probably would later, after their current situation was dealt with.

((ooc: that's fine, i think mine'll be a little forward too, but if it's too much just let me know ;D))
Renatta signed with relief as the other girl put snow on her ankle. "Thank you so much, that feels a lot better. Um, it's nice to meet you, Teagan." Renatta got to her feet, not putting weight on her hurt ankle, but wincing a bit. She put her arm around Teagan, and they headed up towards the school. As Renatta hobbled, her mind swam with thoughts about the vision she had just seen. She hesitated for a moment, than asked, "Um, do strange things usually happen around here? Like, is it normal?"

Renatta wrapped her arm around Teagan's neck. The prefect's 5' 5" body gently balanced out the weight by angling itself. Her long hair was brushed to the side in the process so there would be one less difficulty for them. Soon after, they started walking to the school. Of course, Teagan slightly smirked at how Renatta was deciding to go about this; apparently she had watched far too many Muggle movies. After all, there were many other more creative ways to deal with their current situation.
One such strategy would be for Teagan to freeze the other girl's leg so that it was much more solid and they could simply slide down the hill. Surely, there was a firm piece of wood somewhere that they could take off of a shack or find elsewhere among the land around them. In fact, all they would have needed to do was find any flat piece of wood, and then use the Enlarging Charm on it to make a make-shift sled. After doing that, it would not be difficult to use magic to carry it. Of course, they could have also chosen to push it down a hill and let it slide then use magic to pull it up the next one; it would certainly have been a lot easier than cumbersomely walking the entire way.
Another option was for Teagan to just use the Body Carrying Charm to lift Renatta into the air, and then she would be the only one to have to travel along the snow path. Still, the red-haired girl doubted her abilities to be able to sturdily walk down the frozen path without slipping and constantly using her very numb fingers to cause magic to hold Renatta in the air without dropping her or losing her balance at all. Even she occasionally slipped while walking across ice, especially when it meant going up hill or down hill, and not being able to use her upper limbs to help with her balance or grip any objects that could help her reach her destination.
Yet, Teagan had no intention of following through with any of those choices; she preferred the fourth obvious option. Being a quidditch player, she had a broom at the school. Since she had a broom, the broom could be summoned. Since she had a wand, she could summon things. Since she had a wand and could summon things, she could also call for her broom. Since she could call for her broom, she had another very valuable resource in her grasp; the Ravenclaw intended to use her Nimbus to get them to the Hospital Wing much faster.
Really, this choice wouldn't be too difficult, nor would the options branching from it. One option was for Teagan to ride the broom and carry Renatta with magic. Another was for the prefect to simply ride with Renatta on the broom. After all, she was a beater on the Ravenclaw quidditch team, so she was used to keeping her balance, maneuvering to the specific location she wanted to be at, and enduring things while in flight. Of course, she also wasn't one of the players that was meant to deliver or find things as quickly as possible, like a chaser or the seeker. She also wasn't used to riding with another person on her broom, but she really didn't want to bother with trudging all the way to the castle; anyway, having Renatta's foot in that position for so long could have consequences like making it larger or lopsided when compared to her other foot and ankle.
After Teagan had cooled Renatta's ankle, Renatta was immediately grateful and said that it felt much better. Since the prefect had had some experience with this type of situation, the response was the similar to what she had expected. Next was a few seconds of quiet before the Renatta had another query; she asked if strange things usually happened there, but Teagan chose to deal with that in a few seconds.
Stopping, she held Renatta steady and used another charm; this time, it was the famous Summoning Charm. "Accio Nimbus." Hopefully, she would be able to concentrate enough in the numbness for her spell to work. She visualized the wooden broom in her dorm, patiently lying under her bed for use at their next match. "Renatta," said Teagan remembering the other girl's name, "there's no such thing as 'normal.'" Even though she had spoken, Teagan didn't look at her companion and continued to keep most of her attention on her broom. Eventually, its shape appeared in the sky, and air gently eased itself out of Teagan's cold lungs into an easy mist before her red eyes; she was fortunate enough to have preformed the charm effectively.
"You know how to fly, right?" Her throat had begun to get slightly uncomfortable by roughening because of the temperature. Of course, the words were a mere suggestion for Renatta to get on the broom; in school, everyone learned how to fly in their first year. Hopefully, Renatta would get the idea and get on large stick.
