The billowing, ebony clouds above the humble little graveyard had blanketed the starry heavens from sight this cruelly cold night.
Dim, gray moonlight hummed through the bleakness, and casted it's muted and haunting glow upon the astonishing scene below.
The corpse of a young women, looking quite slumped and ill, graced a marble slab, perfectly still.
Slow was her breath, and dull was her skin, spare the scarlet liquid that painted her sin.
The pale light from the masked celestial orb that hung so motionless in the sky frosted the handful of delicate burgundy ringlets, dabbed with fresh blood, in the hand of the delusional vampiress. Her hands, just as cold as the stone she was perched upon, shakily opened to reveal her wrinkled palm, stained red, with a long lock of curled hair that had been tightly grasped in her strong but trembling fingers. Her own glossy, black hair had fell smoothly over her twisted features and bewitched eyes and guarded her dead flesh from the gentle light that illuminated the cemetery perimeter. Dressed in tattered, blood soaked garb, battered, bruised, and shivering violently, she looked upon this artifact with fear, bitting down hard upon her lip as images washed over her dilated irises of garnet. Blood bubbled from her mouth as she opened her crimson lips to speak. Her tone was harsh and almost unidentifiable as she sputtered at the clump of hair in her fist. "I think you did this, yes...yes I know you did this. You took her. You took me...and and made me do this, didn't you?" She cursed and cried as her lithe form shook, as she craned her slender neck to look at the dark sky above her. The corners of her mouth and eyes twitched as she gazed upon the clouds in absolute wonder. "I hate you. I h-hate you!" The vampiress snarled at the heavens angrily, grinding her teeth and cursing at the beast who had cursed her with his own sin that now riddled her with darkness and lust for an evil substance. She hurt, deeply. All the creatures of hell scratched at her weak soul from the inside out, and burdened her with something no mortal could imagine... Dyshea was winning. Even from the fiery pit of the underworld, he still had his grasp on her. Tightly, cruelly, and all the struggling she had done wasn't enough. She tried to run from him, but he followed. She tried to forget about him but he'd crept into her mind like a nightmare. He wanted more than to kill her, he wanted to torture her like his past victims...and slowly, painfully suck the life from her. And the trouble was...he was succeeding, excellently. "Why do you plaque me?" She hissed shakily as her eyes rimmed with tears and dropped her head un-naturally to her chest.

(Is this an open thread?)
No. He couldn't go home yet. Father would not be home at this hour, he'd be out on the hunt somewhere, and Sean really didn't want to sit around waiting in the tunnels. He didn't want to be interrogated by the other pack members as to where he went. He could have gasped. What would Cealla and Alissa think?
"I hate you. I h-hate you!" just happened to be the strained voice that he had heard from within the gates of the graveyard of the school. He really hadn't been wandering around to explore the place, but the female voice seemed quite troubled. His hands were jutted heavily into his pockets of his jeans as he strode slowly past the threshold.
Amid the graves, and atop one, was a Vampire, and the immediate reaction for the pup was to bolt. But where could he go? Not even his home was safe from the Vampires. After his shining eyes had taken a closer look, he concluded that this lady wasn't like the others that had attacked his family and killed his cousins.
As he drew closer, tentatively stepping over the graves, it finally occurred as to what actual hape the Vampire was in. And she looked terrible. "What happened?" He asked, still not losing that very same bluntness in his words from childhood, or what he deemed as childhood, but he was a little more gentle. Maybe even afraid.

[ooc- This thread is open to anyone. You too Sam, darling. ] Her vision began to diminish, everything around her seemed to be weaving in and out of color. She began feeling...cold, which was something she hadn't felt since she was a mortal. Then everything suddenly became black and white. The graveyard was stark, and eerie, as feathery shadows began sweeping across everything, and drew more sanity from her with every passing moment. The shadows began forming creatures...frightening ones that leered at her with hot ember-like eyes. Their movements were un natural and sharp as they shifted their shape and size repeatedly. The nieve aura of a young creature had drawn near, but Amari was shaken by this presence, not knowing who the stranger was, but seeing only a shadow being instead of a Lycan. Blindly, she swatted at the shadows, unseen to anyone but herself, as they drifted around her in slow motion. Cries of pain seeped from her as she urged the figure not to move any closer, and shield her eyes with her stained hands. Then, a voice rippled the unknown shadow as it spoke, and froze the other shadowy creatures in their places. "What happened?"The unidentified male said crisply. Amari, rattled with fear, as the figure spoke. Her lower lip, cracked with dried blood, quivered as the lone shadowy figure seemed to spin around her in place of the shifting figures that had remained still. Her eyes pinched shut tighter, and her hands ran up her neck to cover her ears to mute the voice. Sobbing, Amari cried out at the creature. "You made me do it. You made me do it! She...was just a child...and I drained her. Because you made me do it." Amari began thrashing violently in hopes to scare away the shadow from encircling her. The lock of hair still clenched tightly in her hand, that she desperately tried to over her left ear with, appeared to be tore by the roots, from a young girl's head. "She's dead. And it's your fault! It's your fault, it's your fault, it's your fault, IT'S YOUR FAULT!" Her scream blared and echoed through the graveyard as she continued to tremble and swat at the shadow that plagued her.

Such a turmulous lift, did this young thief recieve from strolling about in this place. It was somewhat strange, how he would recieve such a heightened sense of comfort from such a morbid and melancholy place. Perhaps it was the quiet, the serene silence that came of the dead sleeping in the cold amongst the restless leaves of an autumn that had nearly run its course. It was close to Christmas, and this thief did indeed have his own traveling plans.
Meandering through the lines of graves, Sam pushed his glasses down slightly, as they began to fog up from the moisture that permiated from his chocolate brown irises. They turned into black orbs in this gloomy lack of daylight, and the cool night air felt good to his eyes, which lacked a bit more than others in the visual department. Dressed warmly in a gray hoodie and jeans, a blue scarf was also drapped over his mouth and throat.
His headphones fastened to his astute ears, Sam had walked ever closer to a most unnerving scene without so much as a hint to its occurance. Sam had a bit of a sixth sense of happenings around him, which only came naturally in his line of work. This time however, he was wholly oblivious to the dusky maiden that he had met many months back before departing to FP, and her dilima which continued to haunt her to this very eve.
He was also oblivious to the hand that struck him hard across his face. Sam's glasses flew off a few feet into a nearby bush, and his legs collapsed beneath him as a thin perchant of blood trickled down his bottom lip. He looked up, squinting, into the crazed eyes of the vampiress he met at the lake. Apparently she was still mad about him accidentally peeping in on her.
"A....Amari?" he stammered, fumbling with his i-pod to turn it off, only to let his ears awaken to the sound of the woman's heaving breath.

She didn't wish for him to draw any closer. It was almost so obvious that he was surprised that she didn't scream for her to leave her alone in peace; in her brooding and painful crying. The fear, just as his own, was radiating off the Vampire, which was rather odd. Had they switched bodies for this time? It couldn't be possible.
Just as the scaredness rivetted and echoed from her shaking form, so did her sobs of anguish and anger. And though Sean hadn't immediately picked up on, there was another being around. It wasn't until that person had been slapped hard over his cheek that the Lycan pup snapped out of his obliviousness and realised that there was a human right near him.
How could his senses have betrayed him? When he had left the tunnels, they were as keen as a crow to a corpse. But now, it seemed to him, they had almost dulled in strength. The boy shrugged the thought off, he was only young. And since the human gave off the appearance that he knew this Vampire well enough to grasp her name, the boy shuddered and turned on his heel, back toward his old home.

The sting of warm flesh had quickly graced her hand as she flailed. Suddenly, the lock of burgundy hair flew from her grasp, and landed in a little clump only a few feet away. Everything fell dead silent. Amari's screams had come to a sudden halt, no birds swaked in the thin pine trees, and the wind had vanished. Her mind began filling with questions and doubts as to what had just happened. What had happened? And what had stopped the cruel vision she had been experiencing only moments ago? She decided to remain still, but on guard, clingning tightly to the tombstone that was nearest, hoping desperately that she was free from the shadows.
Her breath shallowed and ears rung in the absence of noise, as her pupils began shrinking and growing abruptly to adjust her focus upon the cloudy figure that lay on the ground before her. Color started to fill in certain areas of this image she slowly began to decipher, and before she knew it...the shadows had stopped dancing, and the graveyard looked as normal as it could get. The bleakness had seemed to melt away with every blink that washed the surface of her glassy eyes. Scanning her surroundings she gasped with fright as everything became much clearer and less desaturated.
Placing her trembling fingers to her dry lips, she slowly returned her garnet eyes to the figure that rested at her feet. Blinking rapidly, she realized instantly who the young man was. Slowly, and gently, she brought herself to a kneel beside the familiar boy with the golden nest of hair she could of recognized even in a snow storm. A weak and shivering smile tugged at the corners of her blood stained mouth as she leaned down to fully gaze into his eyes. She swept a lock of sleek ebony hair from her line of sight with her sweaty palm, leaving behind several damp strands of hair that stuck messily to her cold and dewy cheeks.
"Sam? S-Sam, it's that you?"
Gently, she stretched her hand out, and pressed her index to the drop of blood upon his split lip. Her lips quivered with fear and doubt as she brought her finger, lightly glazed with his blood, to her mouth. Her garnet eyes resumed to stare sadly back at Sam as she spoke.
"Did I do t-this to you? Did I strike you?"

A chill, a wince in the gentle breeze, the rattling of his now loose teeth. The boy suffered a tizzy of a blow, and it was from a being he normally tended to avoid. But then, at the same time, Sam found himself inveritably attracted to these beings, these vampires.
And this one in particular.
Amari looked terrible, at least by anyone's average standards. Even with his terrible sight he could tell how torn and weathered her white dress was. She reeked with blood, and in turn was caked with it, running down her throat and down her chest. Even the rivoulet of blood that clung longingly to the tip of her soultry fingertip eventually found its way to those perfect rose petals that shaped her kissable lips. Her ebony tresses tumbled over her face and about her shoulders as she gazed tiredly at him, reawakened somewhat by the bit of crimson plasma that dispersed upon her tongue.
Why did she fascinate Sam so? Amari was a vampire, so similar to others that he had met and stolen from. Yet in her eyes, there was something...much more than an inate hunger. Though he was somewhat saddened to see her this heavily satiated for her carnal thirst, he was pretty sure that she did not wish to drain him. Though with certain creatures, he was not sure how endorphinal a rush it would be to do such a thing to him....Dismissing that thought however, he returned his understanding gaze to this tattered, withered, beautiful goddess.
Sam's right hand reached out, making the tiniest indention upon her skin and dabbing in a small stream of blood upon her chin which just began to coagulate. With but a brief moment of hesitation, his fingers stroked at her cheek, unsure of whether Amari would want to be touched at this moment. The thief knew so little about her, but had such a great urge to.....care for her. Taking her hand in his, the one that withdrew his blood drop, he gently held her fingers in his palm.
"Oh no, I just hit a branch from that tree over there. How....have you been?" Sam offered with a tilted head, his words carefully chosen. He was not sure, but he always had a feeling that this girl had been somehow pursued by someone. He had that idea since the moment Amari and Sam first met, but he never had such a strong sense of that fact as he did that moment, in that desolate graveyard.

After a few more blinks, her eyes had returned to their normal brilliance, and Sam, who was so tenderly cupping her hands in his, was crystal clear in her sight now. His voice was just as reassuring as it had been that evening at the lake so many months ago, and it seemed to soothe her from the inside out. Like a warm breeze gracing her face, which was something she hadn't felt since she was mortal, she could feel the warmth of his hand caressing her cheek. She took it in willingly, as her soft eyelids fell over her bright irises. A smile surface upon her pouty lips as he fumbled with the explanation of the tree branch and such. He was clever, and Amari found him so refreshing and honest, it almost made her feel alive again. It had been so long since they had talked...but at the same time, she was sure that their friendship was quite strong, nonetheless.
A sigh puffed heavily from her throat as she thought over what she was to tell him. Things had drastically gotten worse since she took leave of the vampire caves, and went to pursue Dyshea on her own. He only gained more control, and with that, less and less of Amari remained. Grinning weakly, and slowly batting her eyelids open, she replied.
"Well,...things have been difficult. Oh, but, don't worry yourself about all that. I do hope your doing well..."
Her glittering eyes were so full now. Full as the moon that very night. She felt as peace now that she was in the company of a friend. It had been so long since she had interacted with anyone...and she had become more lonely than expected. Sam was the only human she had ever trusted, and she was positive he could sense that. Staring deeply into the young thief's pristine eyes, she wondered if he could feel what she was experiencing at the very moment. That warmth that had suddenly enveloped her and made her feel...amazing. It was so new...and so powerful she didn't know how to react to it. Being a vampire for almost two years, she had lost most of her human attributes.
Leaning into the warmth that radiated from him, she gazed fully into his eyes, hoping somehow that if she were to stare deep enough into them, that all the horrors of her past and present would be drowned in those sparkling orbs of his. So childish, she was. Chuckling to herself as the very thought, she ran a delicate hand over his masculine cheek. Her playfulness vanished abruptly, and all that remained was her hunger for his warmth, and his warmth alone.
Was Amari, falling for him?

Sam's eyes turned into a deeper, muddier brown as she answered, as if to try and discern the validity of her answer. Really though, it was not as if the thief could not tell something deeply ailed her. It was written, no, etched into her eyes. Amari's sad smile tried hard to hide the desperation that hid therein. He knew that look very well. When Sam first started stealing, he saw that look in his own eyes almost every time he looked into a mirror. Leaning forward, Sam grabbed her by the shoulder and pulled Amari close to him. Her poor, temporarily sated body was so light and felt so frail, he was almost afraid of breaking this beautiful vampiress if any of his movements were performed without care. Sliding his hand underneath her legs, Sam holstered the lady up high on his lap. His arms then coiled around her cold, full form, holding Amari tight to him. In the unsettled leaves they sat there, his warmth remaining constant and ungrowing as it passed into her undead form. His head was right next to hers as he relaxed his chin on her shoulder. "You don't have to lie to me. From the moment we first met, I had a feeling that rock you hurled at me had someone else's name written on it." he whispered, having a small chuckle for the last few words of that sentence. "I never stopped thinking about you. I really had no clue why, but I always worried about you. Please, my precious Amari....let me help you." pulling away as he spoke those next few words, Sam's hands slid up and traced eight lines up her back, and ended as they slid through Amari's dark brown tresses. His hands caressed her cheeks gingerly, hoping to feel some form of heat even with the passing of his own thermal heat into her. Sam had absolutely no clue how he concievably felt this comfortable with this woman. Every girl he ever met, even Courtney, placed him at an internal unease when he was in their presence. His internal voice would always tell him to ditch them, since fraternizing with any woman would vastly jeopardize his work. And yet.....Sam found himself here, a girl sitting in his lap. And his forhead pressed to hers. Sam loved this vampiress Amari. Tilting his head slightly, Sam's lips parted and pressed to Amari's. This was the first time he ever kissed anyone....and considering it was his first kiss, it was a surprise no doubt to both of them, how little restraint he showed in his passion. Closing his eyes, Sam's mouth widened fully to hers as he drank in her taste, feeling himself locked in Amari's embrace. (OOC) *Sighs* Wow....I think I went a little overboard there. But, I gave you plenty to work with, yes? ^^;;

[ooc - I'm not complaining. ] A phantom heart beat echoed through her body as the unexpected happened. Sam had spoken the truth, which was something she tried so hard to conceal. He was right, she was indeed in a terrible state, but at the moment, it didn't seem to matter. His words were as smooth as silk, and so were his hot finger tips, running across the creamy inches of flesh of her shoulders and back. Sliding comfortably into his lap, she relaxed against his warm body. Sam was so warm, that touching him almost seemed to burn her in a way more pleasant that imaginable. Her body lapped up his warmth vigorously as his arms coiled around her, lovingly and carefully. She felt...graceful and transformed within the boundaries of his embrace. No man had ever treated her with such care, and this made her realize how very real this moment was. It was like pure magic. She captured every detail, every scent, every sound, and most importantly, the feel of him. His eyelids slid shut as his dewy mouth seductively drew her in. Dreamily, Amari closed her eyes in reply, and felt the collision of their lips transferred each others signature flavor. Sam was kissing her. He was pouring such a passionate amount of affection into her, Amari felt as if she were to explode with life. Her arms hastily encircled his muscular but slender torso, her dainty body pressed against his fully, and her lips became hungrier and hungrier for his kiss. She could feel the beating of his heart and breathing quicken with her responce to his affections. Breaking softly away from the sensual happenings, she peered deeply into his eyes with an innocent and heavenly smile despite her dark and dull appearance. Yes. She was quite sure of it now. Dead sure. "Sam...I'm in love with you."

It was so beautiful. This was exactly how Sam envisioned his first romantic embrace, only with the girl that could truly steal the one thing he could feighn show to anyone else. His heart. And like it or not, this girl had her grip coiled tightly around it and showed no sign of letting go. And truth be told, he wasn't sure he wanted her to. It may have been the simple vampiric chemestry that the female's pheremones were substantially more powerful than that of any average girl. Hell, that may have been the reason he wanted to excel this scene to far more steamier heights than this.
Sam pulled away, but only from the kiss. His body remained fully pressed to hers, and he rather liked it, considering she had begun lying atop him somewhere in that heated exchange. There was little separating her now from kissing Sam, save for his human hands that caressed her face in upwards motions. Sam was amazed at how at ease he was with that fact, despite the fact that he knew she could remedy that at anytime with the slightest of her vampiric force. He knew somehow that Amari would not push things, at least not yet.
"You've no idea how happy I am to hear you say that. I wish we could just lie here and make love to each other forever. Its just....these surroundings are not quite as cozy as I first pictured, as far as sharing my love with you, Amari." he said, wryly glancing at their surroundings. If he was really to do this, and a part of him still could not believe he was about to, then the very least he could do was treat his lady love to more homey surroundings than this.

Amari's moist lips curled gingerly. She knew what he spoke of, and he was indeed correct about their surroundings. Glancing around for a moment, her garnet spheres passed over the burgundy lock of hair that lay in a pile near the gravestone she had clung to during her nightmare. Performing a double-take upon the artifact, she paused for a moment, gathering a fair bit of knowledge by simply looping together the events that had occurred. The lock of hair from her victim had been the link between her and Dyshea. It suddenly clicked. That was how he was controlling her.
Her gaze and thoughts quickly flicked back to Sam. She beamed with happiness as he cooed to her romantically about the love that he desired to share with her. Strumming her heart so cleverly, she had wished that they were in a more favorable setting...
"I'd be just as happy to give you my love in return, dearest Sam...but I also agree with you."
Her lips neared his once again, shivering with anticipation. Oh, how powerful love was. It could easily wash terrible thoughts from mind and restore buckets of hope in even the most harsh situations. Amari's mind frolicked in this sea of hope. Hope for a new life, free from the wrath and evil of her ex-lover, free from the past that still seemed to torment her. It was all happening so quickly, but at the same time not soon enough. Her gaze rose to meet his before the kiss.
"What do you plan on doing?"

Sam's intuition was indeed correct, though from all the emotions he had fed off of her, Amari had given him substantial evidence that she was running. Perhaps she was trying to escape from her past. And Sam knew, only too well, what it was like to fear one's own existance. And Amari, least of all, was someone he would never allow to suffer like this.
"What should, we do?" he asked, kissing her after every other two words in that sentence. It was a wonder he did not trail off and just lose himself in another frenzy of lust at the end of his sentence.
"We simply go someplace more comfortable than this, I try help you with whatever troubles that loom over your head, and we hopefully finish this like any typical James Bond flick." Sam said matter-of-factly as he rose to his feet and pulled Amari up by the hands. Almost certainly, a bit of dinner would help to aist this damsel better, though he was unsure if the same applied to her. Were vampires exclusive only to blood in their diets, or were they capable of eating normal food? And if nothing else, at least they would be surrounded by more comfy settings than this. The graveyard belonged only to the dead, afterall. But a hotel room, it can belong to anyone for a night or so. His fingers laced between hers as they walked and he squeezed reassuringly, letting Amari know that he would take care of everything.

Sam was the most kind person Amari had ever met. Most of her life all she had known were selfish and arrogant individuals, who liked nothing more than to help themselves to everything Amari possessed. It was a frightening experience for one so young, but as Sam began to coax her from her barriers and burdens, Amari could see something she never had been able to before. A trustworthiness like no other. As long as she trusted in him, she would feel safe, and protected. Oh God, she adored him.
Smiling fondly and placing yet another juicy kiss upon his tempting mouth as he helped her up from the ground, she cooed to him in reply.
"I appreciate your help, dear Sam. Thank you alone never seems to suit your generousity and kindness."
Wrapped in his arms, they walked together out of the graveyard. Leaving behind the lock of hair, and all of Amari's burdens.
