Lori walked through the different headstones, her brain as tired as her weary, battered form. She had wandered the grounds aimlessly for days. Her long black coat whipped in the wind that blew through the dead silent Graveyard of Magical Horizons. Lori’s black coat covered a red, white, and blue, long sleeved shirt mad of cotton – it belonged to the person she was going to visit in this dreary, depressing place. Under that was a black dress that flowed to her black sandaled feet and her mid-back, dark brown tresses fell down and about her small shoulders and the small girl’s brown, shining eyes were brimming over with warm tears that streaked slowly down her already tearstained face. Her slightly pale complexion was oddly fitting and the girl’s overall mood, shown by her posture and facial expression was sad, and extremely depressed. This girl looked as if she'd hit rock bottom.
Lori spotted the special, brand new floral arrangements. A red-blue/purple-white bouquet of flowers in a heart shape; two, actually, and two other bright bouquets, full of vivid reds, pale pinks, bright yellows, and stunning blues, along with heavenly whites. Lori wiped a few stray strands of hair from her and pulled a piece of paper from her jacket pocket, and began to read, a bit teary-eyed.
/Tears/Sadness/Pain/Inside/ /Mad dash to the finish line/ /Don't leave yet/ /Don't go/ /I need you here/ /You help my feelings flow/ /I cringe at the sight/ /Of you Dying/ /Please/ /Please don't go tonight/ /Not yet/ /For me/ /For us/ /For you/ /Don't make a fuss/ /We know you're hurting/ /We're hurting, too/ /We need someone/ /That someone is you/ /Mom's Knight in Armour/ /Brother's Big Hero/ /And my/ /Amigo/ /Secert-Keeper/ /Candy-Giver/ /Mr. Handy/ /Always Happy-go-lucky; just dandy/ /My Best Pal and Comrade/
/My Dad/
/Dad's Lil' Girl Sends Her Love To You In Heaven/
Lori sniffed a couple of times before pulling a handkerchief from her pocket and wiped at her eyes furiously as she stifled a sob. They just would not stop. Lori blushed faintly and folded up the paper and slipped back in her pocket, a look of admiration, caring, and immense love lit up her face along with the full moon as she stared down at the grave in front of her and uttered one word.
"...Daddy..."

It was strange really. Mina was never one who made an effort to pass the Graveyard, in fact she'd never lost anyone, so she had never had a reason to mourn, or visit the graves of others. In all honestly, she would have loved to photograph the place one day though, for it was a peaceful, eerie, and softly mysterious place, especially under the light of a full moon.
The dancer had made a note to do this one night, and tonight it would be. Slipping the black cord of her camera around her neck, the girl exited the castle and made her way toward the looming ground where tombstones rose like figures in the dim light. Her strawberry brown hair bobbed in loose, long curls, messily around her shoulders, while her aqua-green eyes sparkled determindly.
Her foot were in cute slip-on's, white, which matched her slippery grey long-sleeved shirt, although that was hidden under a honey-coloured jacket which fitted tightly, but warmly over her figure; accenting her form as most of her items of clothing did. Her dark-denim jeans scuffed the ground roughly as she walked, humming softly to herself as she silently pushed open the wrought-iron gate of the Graveyard.
Suddenly Mina's breath hushed in her throat and she glanced up, hearing somebody else speaking, a girl. Chocolate-coloured hair poured back over this girl's shoulders, and Mina paused in her steps, wondering whether to leave the girl be or not. Upon hearing the last of what appeared to be a poem - and a very lovely one at that - Mina ventured forward, letting her jeans continue to graze the cement quietly to let the girl know of her presence.
"H-Hey.." She whispered, an obvious note of sympathetic apology in her voice. "Would you mind some company..?" She added awkwardly, coming to kneel beside the other pretty girl with glassy brown eyes. Mina didn't know this girl at all, but her hand left her camera to hang around her neck and extended, pushing strands of this girl's hair from her cheeks. "I'm Mina." She smiled distantly.

Kimmy, too, had never lost anyone close to her and yet something that day had pulled her towards the graveyard. There was something about the place that the strawberry haired girl couldn't quite put her finger on. Kim's usual cheery mood had evaporated as soon as she passed through the gate and a renewed chilly wind gave her cause to pull her beige coat tighter around her.
The Ravenclaw had gone for a walk not long after classes had finished, only stopping at the common room to pick up her coat and drop off her bag. Despite the weather getting colder, it hadn't swept away her kind demenour or her willingness to help people.
This desire to help meant that as soon as her eyes met a grief stricken looking girl standing before a gravestone with another girl beside her, Kimmy's heart reached out to her, and her body followed quickly afterwards. She had never allowed herself to give up, come what may, yet it looked as though the first girl had.
"E-excuse me," Kimmy stuttered shyly. "I'm sorry to interrupt....but I... I just wanted to make sure you were okay?"
A stupid question, she knew. Though sometimes it made people feel better just knowing someone wanted to know they were okay. Whether the other girl had asked this, too, she did not know, but she still felt obligated to ask.

Lori looked up from the spot where her glassy, round orbs had rested when she heard something scraping lightly against the cement. She whipped around to see a girl. Gorgeous. That's what popped into her mind. The woman standing next to her was absolutely stunning--very pretty, and by the tone of her voice, felt for this... this THING that stood next to her. Lori sniffled as this girl.. Mina... wiped strands of hair from Lori's face. Lori looked up at Mina with her dull, round eyes and let out a shuddery sigh. Lori looked back down to the headstone slowly and recited something she saw back when her, her Father and her twin brother had gone on an outing a few weeks before...
"As the sun sets over our fallen companions, may they always be remembered."
This torn, beaten, battered girl shook her head gently and as softly as the whistling wind, spoke to Mina. "Not at all, Miss Mina. I'd... I-I'd like it..."
Lori then heard a shy, soft voice pipe up.
'E-excuse me, I'm sorry to interrupt....but I... I just wanted to make sure you were okay?'
Lori thought about it for a few moments... and has shook her head once more. And she replied to the other female, in the same, soft voice "Not at all, Miss. Honestly... n-not at all..."
At once, she stumbled forward, clutching her side and groaned in pain, her face now showing a faint slap mark in the moon-light.

Looking at the other girl quickly, Kimmy knelt down next to the grieving girl. "Hey, hey," she whispered softly, getting some tissues out of her pocket, but then seeing that maybe that wasn't the problem. The girl was clutching her side and a red mark had suddenly appeared on her face that looked a whole lot like a hand.
Drying her cheeks gently with the tissue, the redhead could think of nothing to do but rub the girl's back gently and try to get whatever it was to stop hurting. There had to be a way.
"What happend?" Kim asked gently, hoping that just knowing someone was with the girl would calm her down. "My name's Kimmy, by the way. Who are you?" Simple questions.. yes. Simple questions to try and keep her focussed on something else.

Mina smiled a reassuring smile as the girl said she would like company, and as she addressed Mind, the dancer waved her hand and gently shook her head. "Just call me Mina." She said softly, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder, just before another girl appeared. Mina smiled at this girl also, giving her a silent greeting; it didn't seem as though it was a very good time for lots of talk.
After the mourning girl recited something Mina thought was lovely, she acknowledged the other girl, but immediately after, she fell forward groaning and clutching at her side. Mina covered her mouth in shock as she spotted the clear handmark on the girl's face in the light of the moon, and she moved forward instinctively to put her arm around the girl's shoulder's, almost protectively.
Although the other girl began asking the upset girl her name and other things to take her mind away from what appeared to be some harsh reality, Mina was determind to get to the bottom of things and help this girl, no matter how much of her energy it took.
"W-Who did this to you?" She asked carefully, again brushing some of the girl's hair behind her ear in a sisterly way. Unzipping her caramel-coloured jacket, Mina slipped out of it and fitted it snuggly around the shoulder of the girl, leaving her arms there as well as an extra sense of security. Some people just didn't deserve hardships in life, and Mina was almost certain, just by the look in this girl's eyes, that she was one of those people.
