There was something about the silence of it that drew the faerie's attention. The bittersweet serenity that choked the air seemed to especially interest the dragonfly-winged creature. The phrase “opposites attract” did not seem to have power here. Rather, “birds of a feather” comes to mind. Something about the melancholy atmosphere pulled at something the faerie kept deep inside.
His bare feet made no sound as he entered the grounds of the dead. A light fog had descended, giving it an even more unearthly illusion...or was it real? The haze swirled around his wings, producing wispy patterns. It was deadly quiet. There was no wind to stir the faerie’s dark locks.
He stood still. The stillness of the surroundings drew unbidden memories to his mind. The death, the screaming. The helplessness. Revenge. Then the feeling of nothing. Emptiness. There had been no satisfaction. His face remained expressionless, and his violet eyes betrayed no emotion. No one can change the past. His gaze bored into the mist.
He closed his eyes. There were so many things he did not understand.

Dante had come to the graveyard to think as she always did. She heard a silent movement. As she watched she saw a boy, he was extrodinarily beautiful, but he seemed sad. "Is there something the matter do you need help?" She asked him.

The faerie had sensed the Slytherin's approach, but did nothing. He remained quiet after the question, taking his own sweet time to respond. At last he opened his eyes, their slant giving him a distinct Asian look. "My lady," he replied in his soft voice. "I am afraid I am beyond help, but I appreciate your concern." His gentle features arranged themselves into a sad smile.
Some may feel it strange that one bearing such sorrow could still smile as sincerely as this one did. Destruction, extinguished lives, the avenger of the night. "However, one does not merely wander into this place," he began. "It draws its kindred here. Those who have suffered." He turned to the girl, his violet gaze watching her. "What brings you here on such a night?"

"Thoughts of many things though they are common as you will find, what about you what draws you here?" She smiled her smile seemed to be identical to his sad yet kind. "You seem very unhappy and your eyes so sad, they hold much pain." She cocked her head at him and gave a kind smile.

The still wind finally took a breath, sending mist swirling around the two. The sweet silence enveloped them for a moment, then was chased away with the faerie’s voice. “It seems my question has turned on me,” he laughed quietly. “Very well, I shall answer your question.” The faerie studied the girl’s face intently with a gaze that most found intimidating. He found a rare earnestness there, a desire to help others so similar to his own; or perhaps he was hallucinating again.
He took in a long breath. His memories contained many things, and happiness was rare. Anger, hate, destruction, and shame played key roles. “Before I begin, I must ask you: do you truly wish to know?” If possible, his amethyst gaze intensified.

"I live my life to help others it is the only way i can find happiness, I want you to tell me." she walked closer to him, her gray eyes never straying from his gaze

(ooc: Luka is basically going to put Dante through a pensieve type experience. Are you okay with that? I need to know before I post.)

He searched in those gray eyes for any shred of doubt. He found none. The faerie closed his eyes, breaking off the staring contest. He seemed so still. The time around them seemed to stop as well. It was so silent one could have heard a pin drop on a cushion. Without warning, the wind whipped up, stirring up the foggy mist violently. The haze swirled up to swallow the two figures, whirling faster and faster, until soon, there was no evidence that the faerie or the student had ever been there at all.
Had Dante looked around her, she would have seen nothing but a white haze. The faerie was nowhere in sight. Shapes reached out to her but they could never quite touch her. Abruptly, the scene changed to a quiet village, isolated from the world. The snow had not quite melted, and happy winged children played with the white fluff. It was a faerie village in early spring.

Dante looked about this was not the place she had just been. Things seemed a bit old, something, evil about this place surrounded her. The mist was cold, though she wasn't sure why she could feel it. She shouldn't be able to. She saw the boy no where, so she moved about but there was nothing. "Hello?" She asked timidly.

There was no response to the girl’s voice. The faerie children seemed not to notice her presence. Laughing, giggling, they ran or flew, trying to catch each other and throwing snow, every fall bringing more laughter. A stray snowball flew straight towards Dante, though if she stayed there, she would not have felt a thing had it hit her. Instead, there was a loud splat of it hitting behind her. “That wasn’t exactly fair now, was it?” the figure behind her asked good-naturedly.
He was easily identifiable as the faerie Dante met just moments before, though this version was a good deal younger. This was obviously his past, his village. The cloud of sadness was absent from his eyes, and his facial expressions were not shadowed as they had been in the Graveyard.
“Luka!” the children squealed happily, revealing his name to Dante for the first time. They danced around him energetically. “Come play with us!”

Luka, that was his name? He didn't seem as sad as he had in the graveyard, he seemed happy, and Innocent, as though he was untainted by the cruelty of the world. She moved toward the children but none seemed to notice her presence. They moved like mist on their wings... wait wings he was a faerie well that would explain somethings. "They can't hear or see me, but he wants to show me this the question is what exactly is this, and where is the older one the one in graveyard, where is he?" Dante looked around but she saw nothing.

The young Luka smiled amusedly, but shook his head, denying the request to join the fun. “I must see the elder. Perhaps tomorrow,” he said smiling wistfully. As expected from human children of the same age, the little ones let out a chorus of protests.
“But we wanna play tag with you!” “Nuh-uh! We can never find him. He has to find us this time!” “I thought he said he wasn’t playing?” “Gotcha! You’re it!” “Hey! No fair!”
Luka allowed himself a bemused grin as the children resumed their play, forgetting they had ever lost a potential playmate. He walked down the path, heading for the edge of the faerie village.
The elder liked to keep to himself and lived past the outskirts of the town. Many sought his help for many different reasons, but the travel distance prevented those with trivial problems from becoming a nuisance. He had done a favor for Luka’s mother, and she had a gift for him in return. Luka was the messenger of this interaction.
The faerie’s figure grew smaller as he walked away. If Dante wanted to follow this particular faerie, she would need to hurry after him. The older Luka was still nowhere in sight.

Dante ran to catch up still trying to figure out where the other Luka was. She caught up with him, and she relized that unless she found the other Luka she was more or less alone in this world. She followed him but he seemed to be going no where. He was so small she seemed a giant to him.

It began to snow again, the small sparkling flakes spinning to the ground, melting as soon as they landed. The young Luka paused to hold out a hand, attempting to catch one of the flecks of white. They dotted his hair, contrasting against the blackness of his locks. “It’s nearly spring. Why does it still snow?” he murmured to himself, smiling. That would be one question to ask the elder when he got there. He continued along the path with no hurry, stopping to swipe snow off of himself when needed.
The Elder’s home was a daunting structure, cleverly engineered to sit in the top boughs of an ancient tree. It was well camouflaged, and seemed to disappear entirely at some angles. Luka seemed to have no trouble finding it, however. His dragonfly wings hummed gently as they carried him into the tree’s branches. He hovered for a moment, and vanished into the building. There appeared to be no steps or climbing rungs for those without wings; it was generally assumed one would fly. Generally, humans rarely visited this faerie town, so there was no reason to accommodate to their needs.
