"Family," Kaiser said calmly and quietly, though loud enough for Forgoil to hear him. "Ones who care?" He looked over to the girl in the corner, holding flowers. "They're only called my sisters because they're the only other Valkeries in existance. They're not my real siblings...or at the very least, they're as much my siblings as you are her brother." At the mention of her, he motioned his head over to the girl holding the white flowers.
"So why do you despair, Forgoil Halifirien? Why do you despair when you have a sister who cares about you standing over there? Surely you may not share parents - but you are both human. And you know - " At this, his white eyes flashed across her face. " - she's worried about you. She's afraid that I'm going to hurt you...or worse. Isn't that what you want? Someone who cares about you? Someone who's like you?"

Persephone was not shocked at the revelations that had come into light. She knew about valkeries and their ways. She knew of their power of minds, and the way they twisted the truth into an endless riddle. She knew, but then again there was so much he didn't know. Persephone took one step forward. Her green eyes held deep shadows as she looked from Forgoil to Kaiser.

Forgoil considered the Valkerie's riddle that contained hidden wisdom, seeing that it made sense. Having people who cared for him and were like him was akin to having a family.
Turning to Persephone, he saw in her eyes that she was worried about him and was afraid of what could happen to him. He realized that Persephone and others that he met in the school were his family. So, he had no real reason to be, didn't he?
His gaze returned to the Valkerie, who still stared at him, his gaze seeing through Forgoil's body, piercing his every thought. He bowed to the Valkerie, saying,"Kaiser, if I may use your name; I thank you for showing me the error in my ways. If you had not revealed the truth, I would have been chasing false dreams and hopes. How may I ever repay you?"

Kaiser smiled as the truth sunk in around the boy. He felt happier now, for it had been a grave reason he had come to the Graveyard in the first place. He did not even care when the boy called him by his name. Surely he didn't have to cringe whenever someone spoke his name - after all, at most times he allowed them to say it anyhow. But in this case...well, he had already revealed his name anyhow.
"Repayment?" Kaiser said, staring down at the boy, "There isn't much you can do to repay someone like me...but..." He stared over at the girl holding the white flowers. "She can." The smile on his face changed in appearance. At first it seemed to be a peaceful smile, but it turned into one that reflected on a past emotion. A grateful smile, an adoring smile. At last he seemed to move himself to face the girl. "White flowers," he said aloud, loud enough for her to hear him. "She loved white flowers..." His attention turned back to Forgoil.
"Can you bring me white flowers...just like those?" He said, his white eyes replaced by the cold blue ones that he held before, and his wings detracted into his body and disappeared. He once again looked like an abnormally tall and radiant human. "If you can bring them...you have repaid me."

Persephone was worried at first. She had been afraid that he would ask for the flowers that she was put on her mother's grave. When she realized that he didn't want the one's in her hand, just a set like them, she could have cried in joy. "I can bring them to you. When do you want me to get them for you?"

"Anytime - as long as you don't bring them directly to me. Bring them..." He pointed over to a deep part of the Cemetary where a broken and ashen statue of an angel lay flat across the ground. "There." With that rising regret that had been building in his heart ceased, he finally leapt from the memorial and looked at both Persephone and Forgoil with an endearing look. "Thank you, both of you. You've saved me from an ill-burden that has haunted me since I've returned to this world."
Without further elabouration, he knelt down and whispered into Forgoil's ear, "Never take any second you have with her for granted - for she may not be here when the morning comes." And with that said, he looked back over at the ashen black fallen angel. One day he would find her again. Until then, however, he was stuck here once more, haunting these Graveyards and wandering Magic Horizons as he did in his old days.
He now spoke to Persephone, and said "If you bring the flowers, you will make her very happy. And then you shall make me happy. Remember that you'll always have a Valkerie looking out for you if you're in danger. The same goes for you too, Forgoil Halifirien." And with that, he disappeared in a flash of green fire.

Persephone looked where the Valkerie had pointed. She would go in there because it was asked of her, and she knew how it felt to morn a life. She would come back in the morning with a new set of flowers. She turned to Forgoil and tried to read his face.

"Never take any second you have with her for granted - for she may not be here when the morning comes."
Those were the words that Kaiser had said; it was these very same words that now tugged at his mind. He knew what the message behind the words were, but was he ready to pursue it? He looked at Persephone, and he entered into a brief hiatus of bliss. She was so like him; they both were intelligent, loved books...and they both lost their parents.
I will follow your advise, Kaiser Inferno, thought Forgoil as he looked into the sky, But I am not sure when to begin this quest.
Smiling a small smile at Persephone, Forgoil walked towards her and took her hand. He gazed into her eyes, and saw comfort, peace, and understanding. Speaking gently to her, Forgoil said,"Come Persephone, we should find those white roses for our new friend."

Persephone could tell there was something wrong immeadiatly. "Yea, that's sounds like a good idea to me. I grow them in my flower garden in my common room. Do you want to wait for me here?" She searched his eyes looking for the darkness that was there, and found it. Forgoil feared for her, but she wasn't sure what exactly to do.

"Yes. "replied Forgoil,"I'll wait here while you go to your common room and bring down the flowers." He cast another glance at Persephone, and then sat on the ground once more. He turned and looked at the grave where Kaiser had told them to place the flowers; it seemed so neglected and worn. His gaze continued to probe the fallen angel until it reached the face. Was the angel crying? It if so, about what?
Smiling to himself, Forgoil stopped thinking of the crying angel, for rock cannot cry nor can it feel. He sat there, gazing at the grave and its fallen angel and waiting for Persephone's return.

Persephone ran up to her common room. She spoke the password and sprinted to her dorm. It was empty, and she was glad for that. She wouldn't have to answer any questions for why she was running. She saw her flower garden and picked a bouquet of white roses the valkerie had wanted she. She used all the care and patience she could muster as she made the flowers into the bouquet. They were beautiful and pure. Once she had the flowers she ran back to the graveyard to see Forgoil still waiting for her. She could see he was thinking. "Are you ready?"

Forgoil stood up when he saw Persephone return with the white roses. "Ready as I'll ever be," replied Forgoil. Slowly, he walked towards the fallen angel that Kaiser pointed out and told them to leave the white roses. Reaching the angel, Forgoil knelt beside it and begin to feel its stone face. "Tis a pity for such a beautiful thing to be devastated in such a way," he said to Persephone, "Don't you agree?"

"Yes, it is. It's beautiful, and slowly being destroyed." Persephone loved art and she hated seeing it being destroyed. Her sad eyes looked over the fallen angel. She left the white roses at the base with a sigh.

As Persephone placed the flowers near the fallen angel, Forgoil stood to his feet. He gazed upon the angel and the flowers and found the contrast between the two rather interesting. One was as dark as night itself and brimmed with all kinds of portents; but the white roses radiated beauty and peace. Together, the angel and the white roses seemed to compliment each other, but made every neither good or evil.
Forgoil put his arm around Persephone's shoulders as he said, "We mustn't forget this night, Persephone. For we could have died; yet death showed us that life was better. I think that it would be fitting to replace the roses whenever they begin to wilt with new ones. Do you agree to this idea?"

Persephone nodded. It wouldn't be hard for her to do that. She already replaced her mother's as soon as she saw signs of them starting to wilt. She didn't even mind coming to a place full of darkness to bring a little light. "I think that's a great idea."
