ooc: A little fun, anyone?
bic:
It had been snowing for more than twenty four hours, by Rezna's count. She had taken to keeping an eye out from her classroom windows to see what was happening every few hours. Truly, the more snow she saw, the more she came to realize that winter had finally arrived. Her first winter at Magic Horizons was also her first one from home. And her brother's tradition of having a little fun with the first snow fall was gone with it.
As she walked out of the school that morning, for the first time wearing a coat, scarf, and boots, Rezna couldn't help but feel as though the holidays were approaching. She needed a brake from school, from her troubles. She needed some fun.
Looking around at the clean sheet of white snow that sparkled in the sunlight that morning, she couldn't help but touch the unbroken surface. Scooping up a handful of snow, her hands automatically went to making it into a ball. But she was too busy looking at the spot by the lake to notice. It was there, only last summer, that she had engaged in a fun water balloon fight with her friends. Only to her, that summer seemed almost like a lifetime ago.
Then, while she stood in one spot thinking, the cold from the snow in her hand seeped through her gloves. With a sigh, she threw the ball over her head to presumably land somewhere behind her. As she picked up her feet to continue walking along the snow covered path by the lake, she couldn't help but mutter to herself.
"It's a pity though. Alexi and I always had so much fun on such mornings."

“What the---” Splat.Snow dripped down the sides of a rosy face, leaving behind little trails of water as it slipped from the slight blondes chin and fell back to the ground. Faith had been walking along, minding her own business, looking at the sky, when a round object had came hurdling down toward her. The snowball had landed and hit her square in the face. Spitting snow out of her mouth, Faith sputtered slightly, her head snapping back and forth to see who the culprit was. Spotting the retreating form of another girl, Faith gained a mischievous grin. Smoothing out her boat, she grabbed the ends of her gloves, pulled them back hard on her hands, then swooped down and picked up a handful of snow. Quickly packing it into a snowball, the slight blonde waited for the exact right moment, before launching the snowball into the air. Of course, being a lycan held with her aim, and the snowball soon hit the other girl in the middle of her back. Laughing, Faith ran over to her, “Sorry, just getting you back,” She stated, wiping away the remaining snow that was still on her face from it. With a bright grin she stretched out her hand, “I don’t believe we’ve met before, I’m Faith, it’s a pleasure to meet you…?” she trailed off, hoping the other girl would supple her with a name. With her hand that wasn’t outstretched, she brushed her blonde hair out of her face slightly, then fixed her visor. It was black and fuzzy, and was thick so it went down to cover her ears, making it obvious that it was meant for the Winter. Her coat was a beige color and went down nearly to her knees, most likely because she was so short, rather then it being made that way. After seeing the snow outside, Faith had immediately ran off to get her coat, visor, gloves and such, then took off out of the Tunnels to go for a stroll. She always adored snow, her and her older sister, Crissy, had always gone out and built huge forts and then had massive snow-wars with their friends, and their cousin Tru, of course joined them. That was until Crissy left to go to MH, and then of course after Crissy’s death, the wars had stopped. Ooc: I hope you don’t mind my intrusion? If so, just tell me, and I’ll delete my post ^.^ Oh, and, this is teh coat: www.made-in-china.com/showimages/111/500033453/0/Ladies_Winter_Coat_(LLW014).jpg

Anna awoke one frigid morning and tried to look outside her window next to her bed. But, all she saw was snow covering up the entire window. "It snowed again!" she screamed and then realized that she wasn't the only one in the dormitory that slept in late. "Oh... sorry," she muttered. Anna threw on a pair of jeans, snow boots, winter coat, red cloth gloves, and a red and gold scarf. As she ran down the steps, Anna tripped and fell, but she brushed it off with a smile. Nothing, not even the stupid attacks in the school was going to ruin her day. Finally, she made it out of her house common room and down the stairs. She didn't bother with breakfast, for it was already around 11ish at least so she was sure lunch hadn't started and breakfast was surely over.
She pulled open the door that was in the direction of the lake and the cold hit her and she shivered. But, luckily the smart female was wearing clothes that didn't make her freezing. Anna strolled along the newly "shoveled" pathway. Although, you couldn't exactly call it shoveled since it was most likely done by magic. She continued on walking down the path when she thought she saw her friend. Rezna? she thought. Anna decided that she'd sneak up on her friend, just for the fun of it. But, on her way over to Rezna, a snowball hit her square in the face. She stumbled back and sputtered as she wiped the snow off her face.
REZNA![/b] she thought with a grin. It's a pity though. Alexi and I always had so much fun on such mornings. Anna heard her best friend say. "Oh don't worry Rez... today will be a pretty fun morning..." she thought with a slight smirk. Quietly, Anna picked up a small pile of snow and packed it together with her two hands. Although the snow soaked through to her skin, she didn't take notice of it. Anna crept up behind her friend, just close enough to be able to hit her. She pulled her hand back and threw the snowball.
WHACK! It hit the back of Rezna's head and the snow that didn't stick to her hair, fell down her back and onto the ground. Anna couldn't control herself, so she leaned over and began to crack up. She gasped for air and breathed ou heavily. Her breath could be seen from a mile away. Anna couldn't wait to see the reaction on Rezna's face, and that beautiful smile which she hadn't seen in a while.
((ooc: bah! Just pretend that the snowball went in two... I don't feel like changing the entire thing![/color]

ooc: Intrusion? Where? *looks around* Actually, I've been dying to RP with you, Faith! And no problem Anna!
bic:
The carefully thrown and aimed snowball collided beautifully with the center of Rezna's white coat. You'd think that it would be hard to hit a white target among snow, but apparently now.
Just as the 'Puff turned to face her attacker, wondering what on earth she had done to deserve the attack, when another snowball hit her at the side of her head. Little bits of snow slid down along her neck and under her coat. The cold making a slightly unpleasant sensation spread across her neck and shoulder.
Turning further to her left, Rezna recognized Anna from behind a pair of bushes. Oh, she would pay for that! But before that, Rezna turned to face the girl before her.
"Getting me back?" Rezna asked, for a while confused as for what. Then, seeing the little bits of clumped up snow on the other's face. Now that she thought of it, the blond didn't remember hearing her snowball land anywhere. "Oh, I'm sorry for that. Still, it's a pleasure to meet you Faith, for you're right, we haven't met before. I'm Rezna and over there is my dearest best friend Anna who likes to attack people with things for no reason at all!"
Rezna had managed to warmly shake hands with Faith before letting her go and burrowing her hands into the snow before her feet. Packing it into a pretty large snow ball, Rezna took careful aim. As she took a needed step forward, her foot slipped forward in the snow and the next thing she knew, Rezna was falling to the ground, the large snowball flying out of her hands.
Looking up at the blue sky and white hurtling mass of snow above her head, all the Hufflepuff could do was raise her hands above her face to block the impact. But, when not feeling anything, she moved her hands over to see where the snow 'bomb' was.
Then she saw as the snowball first hit Faith's visor and, as though a professional diver, it bounced up a little and gracefully arched it's way over to Rezna's uncovered face. Splattering ever so evenly, all the other could do was chock out a gasp and a laugh.
Sitting up, a white mask of snow on her face, Rezna was still laughing when she wiped the snow off of her face. Glancing up to see the other's reaction, she knew that it would be like hers.
"Anna, I blame this on you anyway!" she yelled out as she scooped up snow and flung it in the other's general direction. As the wind picked up a little, it sent a spray of snow back at Rezna and Faith. But, seeing as the 'Puff blond was already a human snow-woman, it was quite all right with her.
Actually more than alright. She was great. This is exactly what her mornings with her brother used to be like. Well, accept the fact that she was always making a fool of him, not herself. Still, feeling comfortable in the company of the two girls, Rezna could care less.

Ooc: -Gives you first-aid kit- Now don’t go dying… T’is bad for your health ^.~
Bic:
Smiling broadly, Faith nodded her head vigorously, “Yep, getting you back,” Quirking a brow slightly, the broad smile remained on her lips, “T’is OK, I just wasn’t expecting it,” She said, chuckling. Replacing the broad smile with an sincere one whilst she shook the other girls, now known as Rezna, hand, “The pleasure is all mine, Rezna…” Trailing off as she turned her gaze towards the other girl that Rezna spoke of, Faith grinned toothily, “Well, that’s so much more fun then attacking people for an actual reason!”
Waving her hand energetically to the girl that was a distance away from them, Faith flashed her a bright smile, “Hi Anna!” She called over to her.
As Rezna tripped and her snowball was flung into the air, Faith stifled a giggle. Of course, the giggle was cut short when the snowball smashed onto her visor, pushing it down over her eyes. Hearing the snowball splat on someone, Faith assumed it had been Rezna, although she hadn’t been able to see it happen.
Taking a step forward, Faith suffered the same fate as the other girl, and went tumbling to the ground. Rolling onto her back, she spit out her mouth-full of snow, wiped her face, moved her visor back to it’s rightful place, and then grinned at Rezna.
Glacial-blue eyes danced with mischief as the slight blonde sprung to her feet. Scooping up a bunch of snow with her as she went, Faith flung it into the air, and watched in delight as it landed on Rezna’s head. Laughing in a somewhat maniacal tone, Faith took off running, but, again, tripped and went sliding, face-first, a few feet.
Sputtering, Faith put her hands on the ground, pushed hard, and went barreling into the air. Stumbling slightly as she landed on her feet, the Lycaness dived behind a tree, then began to make snowballs as fast as she could. Launching a couple towards both the girls, she ducked back behind the tree.

(ooc: Three words for y'all. Best. Entrance. Ever. ;D )
It was a clear day, and the snow formed a perfect unbroken blanket around the entire school. The day was just right for sledding, and he fully intended to do so. However, he had not been able to find his sister anywhere, and sledding was the kind of activity that needed to be done with at least one other person. Therefore, Aylen was forced to drag the wooden sled around the school until he found someone. Having forgotten his wand up in the Gryffindor common rooms, he found himself wondering how muggles ever got along without magic.
Finally tired out and half frozen, Aylen sat heavily on the sled. He was sorely tempted to ditch the thing there and go to Hogsmeade for a sizeable mug of Butterbeer when he heard voices coming from the direction of the lake. Curious, the redhead leaned forward in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the source of the giggles. Then he felt the sled shift under him.
Time seemed to slow, but he didn’t seem to be able to move fast enough. It allowed him one second to realize what was coming. “Oh, cru—” His breath was cut off by the sudden movement of the sled shooting downhill. His yell echoed loudly, reaching the girls’ ears before they ever saw him. He must have been quite a sight, red hair flying, yelling like a banshee, and zooming straight at them all to boot. Many people had described racing downhill as “like flying”, but they were wrong. Flying had control.
A loud crack was heard as the sled struck a protruding rock. The sled abruptly stopped its advancement. Aylen, however, was not so lucky. The momentum drove him onward, stopping only when it had flung the Gryffindor into a large snowdrift, spraying those unfortunate enough to be nearby with the cold white flurries. The redhead surfaced from the snow, spluttering. He probably should have stuck to broomsticks.

"Faith!" the blond Hufflepuff screamed as she felt more snow land on her wet head. But by the time she could see again, and with her cheeks burning as though on fire, the Slytherin girl had run behind a tree. Laughing, Rezna pulled herself up while quickly making snowballs. Flinging one at Anna, and this time not falling, she was sad to see it was short of her mark.
Still laughing, Rezna hurried behind a snowdrift for cover, making the small snow bombs as fast as she could. Then, the yells of someone way too familiar were heard somewhere from the school.
Peaking from around her wall of snow, a smile burst on Rezna's face as she saw a terrified Aylen flying down a hill on a sled. And soon he was in the air without it, his arms waving madly.
"This is too good," she managed to say before she noticed how dangerously close Aylen was flying above her head. And suddenly she was diving for cover as far away from the snow drift as possible. And not too soon either for in a few seconds Aylen had mutilated her place of protection.
As he came out sputtering, Rezna aimed a large snowball for his chest. "That's for destroying my cover," she yelled to him as she ran for a nearby tree, already pelting Anna and Faith with pre-made snowballs.

((ooc: =) yes Aylen. best enterance ever. and the new background for the site goes perfectly with this thread!))
Anna's ears perked at her name being mentioned by Rezna and she smirked. Oh Rezna, you don't know what you got yourself into... she thought. Hi Anna! she heard a voice call. Anna looked up and saw a female waving frantically towards her, "Hi!" she yelled back, although she wasn't quite sure who it was. Then she noticed Rezna had picked up a large amount of snow, and was ready to throw it straight for her. Anna ducked, but didn't hear the snow land anywhere close to her. So, she looked up and saw Rezna laying on the ground. She chuckled, "Rez, Rez, Rez, what can I do with you?" she muttered and pushed her black hair out of her eyes. Again, Rezna was pelted with snow, but this time it had come from her own two hands. Anna, I blame this on you anyway! she smiled as she heard those words fly through the windy air.
Suddenly, Anna saw a snowball coming straight for her, but, her reflexes were unfortunately too slow. THWACK! Anna's face was covered in the snowball her "dear friend" Rezna had thrown at her. She took her glove covered hand and wiped the snow away from her eyes and cheeks. "Oh! YOU ARE SO DEAD REZNA!" she yelled. She smiled, Reminds me of this summer... but with frozen water and no latex balloons... Anna saw another random snowball coming for her, but this time, she was a little faster. She dove out of the way, but the snowball still managed to hit her in the shoulder. Better than being pelted in the face again.. She thought as she hid behind a pile of snow. Anna readied a few snowballs and began to launch them towards Rezna and at the girl behind the tree.
In the distance, Anna heard a yell and she turned around to see flaming red hair on a wooden sled zooming down a hill. Who else but Aylen, she thought when she saw the bright hair. She saw a rock ahead and was about to warm the male, but it was too late. The sled hit the rock and he came flying towards the snow pile Rezna had been hiding behind. He landed in it and snow sprayed everywhere. Luckily, Anna had closed her eyes, so when she opened them, she felt a few flurries of snow on her eyelids, cheeks, and nose. She grinned and just brushed all the snow off her face, Aren't I glad that I'm not Rezna! she thought.
Anna picked up the several pre-made snowballs she had, and jumped up from her hiding spot. She threw a few towards the two trees Rezna and Faith were hiding behind, and a few at Aylen. Then, when she ran out, she hid back behind her snow pile to build some more.

Snickering as the Hufflepuff girl screamed, Faith moved her head out from behind the tree, and poked her tongue out at the other blonde, before hiding back behind the tree. Winter was such a marvelous time, you couldn’t have this much fun in any other season; sure, they were all fun for their own reasons, but winter, well winter had snow, and snow meant many, many things. You could have snowball wars as they were having, you could build really cool forts, you could make snowmen, or snowwomen, you could sled, and so many other things. So awesome.
Being pulled from her thoughts by the sound of someone screaming, the slight blonde craned her neck so she could look over a small snow pile that was in front of her, to see what was going on. Watching as a red-haired boy went flying down a hill on a sled, Faith quirked an eyebrow slightly, trying not to laugh.
Noticing the rock he was headed for, Faith was about to spring into action, when he went flying through the air, having collided with said rock already. Wincing slightly, Faith covered her eyes with her hands, until she hear a loud sound, indicating that he had landed. Peeking out from behind her hands, Faith started laughing, that is until she was hit in the face with a snowball, and then several others randomly hit her body.
Sneering at Rezna, jokingly, Faith sunk down against her tree, thinking up an evil plan. Seeing more snowballs flying by, from the direction Anna had been in, Faith grinned mischievously. Glancing quickly around her tree, Faith grinned as she spotted the snowballs flying towards Rezna, figuring the girl would be distracted, she took this as the perfect opportunity to attack.
Turning slightly so she was facing the tree she was hiding behind, Faith grabbed onto a branch, and swung herself up, then began to climb to the top. With the grace provided for her by being a lycan, Faith made little noise as she climbed, and made sure the tree showed no signs of her being in it. Nearing the top, she quickly scanned the other trees around, looking for the one Rezna was hiding behind. Spotting it, she took a deep breath, and flung herself into the air, pushing off the tree roughly with her feet.
Landing in Rezna’s tree, a little less than gracefully, Faith began to jump violently. The thick snow on the tree quivered for a moment, before it all went crashing down to the ground. Laughing loudly, Faith grinned, and waited for any sign of where Rezna had been buried.

Shaking the snow out of his eyes and mouth, he found himself facing a familiar blonde Hufflepuff. Grinning, Aylen began to utter a greeting to his friend. However, the redhead didn’t get a chance to say anything as Rezna’s somewhat ill aimed snowball smacked into his mouth. Spluttering indignantly, the Gryffindor spat it out. “Oy! What’s the big idea?” he complained. "That's for destroying my cover," she responded. A confused look found itself on Aylen’s face. “Cover from what?” he began to say, but as he noticed the churned up snow and the small packed spheres scattered nearby he began to put two and two together. The fact that Anna’s aim hadn’t failed her sped things up considerably.
“Ah! Ow!” he cried as the snowballs hit their target. Diving comically behind the ruined snowdrift, despite the fact that it was practically useless as a shield thanks to Aylen’s sledding, the redhead began mashing together snowballs as quickly as he could. Peeking over the small mound of snow, he quickly spotted the other girls attacking each other. The one with the visor was using a rather unorthodox strategy to dump snow on the other blonde and Aylen had to grin at her creativity. Judging that Rezna had enough to handle at the moment, the redhead directed his efforts toward Anna.
Gathering as many snowballs as he could carry, he ran towards his fellow Gryffindor’s hiding place, throwing snow as he went. Of course, running and throwing was too much for Aylen’s coordination to handle and it wasn’t long before he went sprawling face-first into the snow, sending his snowballs airborne in every direction.

If the muggle movies she watched taught her anything, it was that silence usually meant danger. Taking that analogy to mind, Rezna figured that not being hit by snowballs in a snowball fight carried a similar meaning. After all, it had been a good minute or two since Anna's last attack when one of the two snowballs she threw hit Rezna on the shoulder.
As her green eyes scanned the makeshift battleground, she found that a certain Slytherin was missing-in-action. Walking around the massive tree that was now her shield from Anna and Aylen, Rezna tried to see where Faith had gotten to, for her hiding spot was empty.
Suddenly, a loud cracking and rustling sound reached the blond's somewhat hooded ears from above. It was then that she made her most fatal mistake of that evening. She looked up.
Raising her head left her to meet a good two foot wall of snow face to snowflake. As more snow came falling down on top of the unexacting Hufflepuff girl, the force of gravity caused her to fall backwards onto her back. Opening her eyes, all Rezna could see was white snow and fell the wet snowflakes that irritated her eyes. Feeling like some sort of albino winter-loving mole, she burrowed her way from under her snow pile blindly. Coming up, she first gasped for air, then burst out laughing.
Pulling her hands out from the snow pile, Rezna was able to wipe the snow from her face. Looking up, this time twice as hesitantly, she found Faith smiling down on her.
"Faith, I fear you've created a monster!" she yelled as she crawled out of her snow cave in an exaggerated manner. "I've now become the living snow-woman of Magic Horizons! Beware my wrath!" she called as she pulled some of the snow that had collected on her head into a ball and threw it up at the Slytherin girl. Luckily, her aim had been better then it had with Aylen, for it hit Faith right at her chest.
As Rezna stomped her way over to the Gryffindors, thus giving Faith a chance to climb down, she wondered how Faith had crawled up there in the first place.
