"Open your back door I just need to touch you once more I want to come over To hell with the consequence You told me you love me." Dark as coal her eyes were, somewhat unwelcoming, but if you looked deep enough you could see her emotions vividly. Hope was always one to be fascinated with eyes; irises, they were so intriguing. Each were their own, unique color, burning with different emotions. She could study the intensity of one's eyes forever...was that odd? The petite Slytherin girl wondered if anyone else enjoyed eyes like she did. Hope was always one to be different. She had bleached out her black and pink hair, surprisingly it was it's natural color; blonde. She hadn't seen it in so long, only once in awhile did her roots show, but that was when she went to the hair dressers to get a new, more exotic hair color. She twirled the shiny strands around her finger, her gaze being mistified as she stared out into the clear waters of the lake. "That's all I believe I want to come over It's a need I can't explain To see you again I want to come over." The song that she mildly sang was caught in her head, she really loved Melissa Etheridge's voice, and the song was a favorite to her. Hope wasn't belting out the words, simply in a very low tone, one that probably only she would hear. She looked around her, being alone was so frightening, yet so thrilling at times. Right now she wasn't sure how thrilling it was, Hope sort of wanted to meet someone new...she felt limited with the people she knew, she hadn't got around much. But of course she'd love to see an old friend. She really would. Her fingers rapped gently against her hôôker boots. They were black, running up to mid thigh to almost meet with the end of her hot pink lace dress. She couldn't be perfectly normal, there had to be some definite flare to her appearance. Her makeup also contributed to making her stand out, she wore heavy eyeliner on her top lids, along with a wash of hot pink eyeshadow. It was unique, and she loved it. Her lips were painted in that dark cherry color that went so well with her face. A sigh of what could have been mistaken for contentment left her supple lips. "I know your friend You told her about me She filled you with fear Some kind of sin How can you turn Denying the fire Lover I burn Let me in.

(OOC: I believe this isn't invited only? If so, I'll scoot) "What do you need from me tonight? Fear makes you fragile, deary. Where is your knight in shining armour?" Her knight's errant, discharged, lost. Tight rubbing sounds came from her trim, curvy thighs with each step. Latex of reds, maroons and blacks choked her demonic skin, clothing her from her legs to her shoulders. A very strange attire, finished with shining black ankle-boots with the thinnest of heels for a good four to five inches and an old chauffer's black hat. Tipped to the side it was so only one of her hollow, amber pools was visible from under the shade. (OOC: I assume it’s day time, and that Hope was walking around and sat down?) So easily she walked over the muddy ice of the lake, not once coming near to slipping at all. Slowly, ever so slowly the being with dark skin drew closer, allowing her long, black leopard tail to sway down behind her booted feet. So tangible her short tresses of honey and brown seemed, curling delicately down around her chin. That eerie voice, the same that had drawn two elegant boys from the school, sung softly toward the girl, though her lips naught but stayed closed. Different, yes, this girl was, but still human. Still mortal, in Lothani's rippling eyes, but porcelain, just as the boys had been. A similar look she held, an imitation of the demoness that was now but metres away. Nothing more. Nothing less. Seemingly torn, too late for help. But the girl was far from it. However, Lothani could change that. Did she want to? Was that the question? It didn't matter either way. Only time would tell, and time was a thing the demoness had a considerable amount of. Long black eyelashes closed o'er her eyes, tipping her head to the side to sit crooked, she continued forward. "It's a beautiful life, And it is not for all of us. It's a beautiful sound When you come tumbling down, Broken at the knees."

Ooc: No, no, of course not. I’m glad you posted. ^.^ Yes, she is sitting down, and it is day. I do apologize for the lack of describing in my post. Bic: "What do you need from me tonight? Fear makes you fragile, deary. Where is your knight in shining armor?" [/center] A voice other than her own caught her attention, though she didn’t turn her head in a startled manner. Casually she turned, her ebony colored eyes taking in the company she now had. Her eyes moved up and down over the interestingly clad demoness, she wore latex. It seemed quite fitting, had Hope known this was a demon. Though she wasn’t long on coming to the conclusion, for she saw a cat-like tail swish from behind Lothani, and instantly any questions were answered. As she stared up at a being that was so much more powerful than her, no fear was played out across her features. She had always found demons intriguing, and to finally see one up close was rather thrilling. Maybe Hope should be afraid; it was her first intention. This demoness could obviously sit beside her, wrap her hand around Hope’s neck and squeeze. Then she’d be gone completely. The thought was almost scary, but yet Hope met eyes with the demoness, whether she chose to look away or not, Hope’s coal black eyes stared up into Lothani’s amber one’s. She was almost thankful to be sitting down, for Hope would not like to see her standing next to the very tall demoness. ((I think I saw you write Lothani was 6’0, right?* hopes so*)) The Slytherin girl was a mere 4’12 and with her heels still only made it to 5’1. She sang to her in a silky voice, though it seemed so sinister as it flowed from her lips, she lost Hope in intrigue quickly. Whether the demoness would stay or simply pass by, Hope was unaware, but nevertheless her lips were parted, ready to daringly speak to this immortal creature. “More elegant than I would have imagined,” she spoke, she didn’t know how Lothani would take it, or whether she would even note that Hope was, partially, speaking to her. She was referring to a demon, she had read and seen pictures, but never she had experienced the rush of being in their very presence.

Make-up. A façade for the girl. Or was it her actual face that the make-up advanced? From a humanoid perception, make-up was a plastering of protection and shade for their face from the world; the meaning of façade. However, Demons in a general expression cared not for neither the tangible thing nor the concept. But what was make-up, really, in comparison to clothing? This was a different thing altogether, but then not in the exact same way. But her clothes, the girl's attire was nothing totally out of the ordinary. It had been seen before.
Maybe a sensation had passed through the said human when her eyes roved to find Lothani's own. Maybe fear, or fascination, or anger. Whatever it was, it was not portrayed in the least before the moment of their eyes locking together. A gaze so unreadable was kept, and had driven a few random mortals mad in her past. One of which had owned the cleaned black chauffer's hat that draped itself over her short locks of hair. That vague torment was one of many in her black heart. A twitch was the last movement her tail created before laying vertically with a curl at the end behind her, for the sensitive ears of the Demoness caught the animated words the girl had said.
After the words had bee uttered though, it was as if the girl was lifeless in deliberation; thinking over the words that were said. Some humans were indeed very careful in what language they would use, and indeed some were far from doing the same deed. But it was more than likely that the latter of the mortals would lose their lives quicker from the same deadly poison that coursed its way throughout Lothani's blood, and the venom that swirled in with her saliva and down the centre of her hooked canines. Politeness was highly upheld in any being, and one that wouldn't show it was one that would deteriorate far more seriously than before.
A shimmer of the sunlight was caught as short black fur slid through the demon's skin and clothes, enveloping her form in beautiful black rosettes. It began from her nose in a wave, which in turn faded black and flattened. Whiskers slowly grew from Lothani's cheeks that was the same length as the sides of her body from the centre, and her hands drew on the figure of giant dinner-plate paws, encasing deadly claws. Unlike the Lycanthrope species, however, her transition was naught but soundless, not a pop from her bones or a scraping from the skin stretching. Standing on her toes, her feet grew to be much like her hands, but different too.
If one would have looked, they would have seen a giant unearthly black leopard standing in the place of the Demoness, but it was far taller. Just over eight feet to her shoulder from the ground, she dwarfed many beings, and remained shorter than others. Her four paws followed one another in stepping closer over the ice, just as easily keeping her balance in this form as her other. A metre from the shoreline, and the Demoness stopped in her tracks, allowing her muscles in her back and legs to let her lower her rear. "Thank you," she spoke in English, again different to the Lycans, for they could only speak telepathically in their truest of forms.

It was so hard to tear her eyes away from this being, which she should have done, a demon was close to a human, and Hope was staring quite interested. She wouldn't have been surprised if the demoness chose to whip her with that powerful tail sprouted from her back. Her eyes fell to the ground, contemplating the situation, and her safety. The Slytherin wasn't too worried, and she thought maybe that showed a sign of cockiness. Hope was forever mixing with two emotions, she could be worried, but she wouldn't be worried. She didn't like it, this caused her to freak out over a situation even more so because she contemplated for hours in her head.
It was amazing to lock eyes; though the color was most interesting, she appeared to show little emotion through her eyes. Usually eyes could tell you a lot about what a person was feeling, and it could be quite difficult to make them, and your expression unreadable. But the demoness did it so well. She was interested by the chaffeur hat, it went well with the latex, and of course Hope make a mental note to get something of the sort the next time she went shopping.
She swept back some of her blonde hair, matching the unreadable look in Lothani's eyes with her expression. She toyed with the onyx stone necklace at her neck, the one that matched her eyes so perfectly. Hope wasn't sure what to think; thus her expression took on her feelings well. She wasn't sure if she should fear her life, so many secrets lie beneath those incomprehensible eyes, so the Slytherin didn't know what to expect, that was probably thrilling for most demons.
Her mouth fell slightly ajar as black fur took place of her skin, and soon she elegantly took on the shape of what looked like a black leopard. Maybe she was an animagi? Hope had heard of those, maybe she was wrong about this being a demoness. But as she took those last steps towards her she soon realized that this black panther was an unsually large size. Compared to Hope she was...humongous, and she knew now that her first conclusion had been a correct one. Which made her feel better about what she said.
The Slytherin girl got a reply to that question as the demoness sat near her. She said thank you, even through a cat-like mouth, it interested her immediately, Hope hadn't known it was possible. The blonde felt so ignorant next to Lothani. A small smile twitched on her lips. She almost didn't know what to say, or if she should say anything. "I've never seen a demon face to face before, and I apologize for coming off as mindless or something like that, though...I do mean the statement wholeheartedly," she decided to explain her stupid one-liner that she uttered out of amazement. Though maybe the demoness actually took it as the compliment it was meant to be.
Hope was honestly in a mess, it was crazy not to know what to say, and feel so out of place, usually she never got a feeling like this, she was usually more comfortable...even if it could be dangerous.

So confused, that's what she was. As many others had been in the past centuries, the girl didn't know what to think. It wasn't obvious, and it didn't scream 'not understanding' like her make-up yelled nonconformity, and it took just that little bit more concentration for the demoness to discover. But it mattered not. This girl was just another human, another mortal to toy with. Though most thought that was what made the demoness 'tick', most would be wrong. Sure, it was fun, while it lasted. But it wasn't what Lothani would constantly do as a pass-time, because that’s all she had. Time. Endless amounts of years, decades, centuries.
Such brilliant blond hair. It waved down past her shoulders, attracting anyone's passing eye to stare at the shining locks that would probably bounce as she walked. It was anyone's guess as to why she was alone, but it could have been because of the fat she plastered on her face and the attire she wore. Humans were always the single species alone that would ignore others of their kind just because of the way they looked. That was one of the reasons that made them despicable and hated by many other creatures. Lothani herself did hate humans, but to a less amount compared to some others.
However, none of that mattered, really, in the situation at hand. Gently, the bridge of the demoness's nose twitched, flickering her long whiskers in an odd manner. The ice beneath her would have looked dangerously cold, but covered in a thick layer of black fur, Lothani couldn't feel any of it, even from her padded paws. Observant, that's what the girl seemed to be, rather than very talkative, but that thought was changed when the girl spoke once again. But it was all thrown together in a big mass of words quickly, just after her jaw had dropped. Flexing the now unsheathed claws on the front of her paws, the reply came ''Do not worry, my dear. It's happened before, it will happen again." The demoness stated slowly, in a bland tone, again using English.
Eight slices were made on the ice Lothani so comfortably sat on from her claws, and if one looked close enough, one would have seen the ice melting. But no, that wasn't water. Far from the healthy substance, in actual fact. The creature swung her long black tail from directly behind her to around the rear paws of her form. No one would have ever known that the particular part of her body was the healing substance, and the only cure for her venom or poison, other than the Lycan in the forest, if he had ever worked it out. And knowing the particular species, none were really that bright.
Directly facing the girl, Lothani continued to analyse the appearance. Clearly beautiful, just as the boys in the forest were. Perhaps that was what the school was renowned for, having beautiful humans. Was it a trick in attempt to save the children from the forbidden forest's creatures? If so, it was not working at all. Lifting the left paw, she turned it around so that her pads were facing her, eyes glazed to scan them. Not a spec of water or ice at all. Once again, flexing her claws, the demoness spoke up. "But why are you alone, deary? Where is your knight in shining armour?" Thus came the exact same question which had been so melodiously sung only moments before.
(Ooc: Hope, that was a beautiful post of yours. It really helped)

Ooc: *gapes* That was a beautiful post? Really? Wow…thanks…I thought it was horrible… ;D The fat she plasters on her face…? Hope has fat plastered on her face? O.o … Just thought I’d ask.
Bic:
Her eyes wandered aimlessly to Lothani, yet she still set her sights out to the lake. Lothani looked gorgeous against the sun and the icy lake, all though she still seemed so out of place. A large, large black leopard simply sitting out by a lake. It wasn’t something one often – if ever – got to experience. Her hand raised and she pulled back her shimmery locks. All though they appeared bleached, it was her natural color. This time she had bleached it to rid herself of the black and pink she had throughout her hair, she just felt like having it grow naturally for a while.
“All right…” Hope said, her voice quiet against the gentle wind. She was happy the demoness didn’t mind. So Hope wasn’t the only person that had come off as an idiot around the demon, it was expected, she supposed. It looked fairly cold from where Lothani was sitting, upon the ice of the lake. Hope was fine in her spot under the tree, on some grass. But then again the large coat of fur she wore probably prevented any major weather changes from taking effect.
In the brief silence they had Hope’s mind wandered. She thought about how people were so judgmental. If she weren’t judgmental, then she wouldn’t worry about being near a demoness, because she would completely accept her for who she was. The Slytherin girl would like to do so, except the fact that she didn’t know this demon, so she didn’t trust her. Hope wouldn’t trust anyone she didn’t know, so maybe it was okay to be weary of the demoness before her.
Hope was not aware of the poison that Lothani’s blood contained…and that was probably for the better. It would just give her something else to fawn over. As if she wasn’t paranoid enough anyway. She wanted to slap herself, why on earth could she not freak out over the smallest things? Why did she always seem to have two voices going in her head…it’s like she had two minds. She could be something, but then not actually be it. It was so confusing to her…
Lothani now turned towards her, looking to her after a moment of inspecting her claws. Hope’s coal-black eyes moved up to meet with the demoness’ eyes. She asked what she had previously sung before, and Hope contemplated it. She was going to answer the question when it was sung to her, but instead she was too frozen over in shock. “I’m alone I guess because no one else is around…” Hope answered that part rather dimly, but then her hand moved to play with that onyx stone tied around her neck, and a little sigh left her cherry red lips. “My night in shining armor is somewhere…he was here for awhile, but now I seem to have misplaced him…” Brent had to be around somewhere, that’s who Hope classified as her knight in shining armor. He saved her in times of need more then he’d know.
“What about you, Miss? Do you have a knight in shining armor?”

(OOc: And the one above too. The fat on her face = make-up.)
Though the top layer of ice was very thick – thick enough to hold Lothani – should she have looked down and attempt to see into the depths of the lake that she so comfortably sat on, she would have been able to depict a viridian hue from the water below. It was a very strange thing to be able to learn, the transition between Ice and Water. Just the concept of it, for a young child, would be hard to understand if they were taught scientifically. But what is science? Some would call it the excuse for stupid actions of the world, others would be against it merely for religious reasons. However, Lothani really didn’t pay any attention to the human world, other than a flicker of a glance or two.
The ice beneath took in the weight of her in a more spread out fashion as she lowered her paw after inspection, letting it rest just as the other three were. How different this girl was, and yet not in the same aspect. Differences can be deceiving, and just like this girl was, differences sometimes weren’t. Clearly she held herself confident in her appearance, and she was without a doubt no stranger than any other human. "Deary, what a shame your knight in shining armour is out on his errant. Because his errant is you, on this night, and he obviously isn’t here." Lothani stated blatantly in her waves of high and low tones.
So fragile, she was. Hardly any defence, other than the wooden stick the humans called a wand in her pocket, should the demon decide it fun to play around with the girl. Though it wasn’t wise if anyone should attempt to help, the more the merrier to deal with. For a demon's powers were almost endless, no matter the element or scenario it was based around. Maybe the girl would go home with a few less limbs, or maybe without the ability to speak. Who knew better than Lothani of what she was to do with this strange girl? No one. And it was silly to attempt to decipher the complexity of her malicious thoughts.
Her knight in shining armour. The demoness didn't consider such an event, especially being a demon who had never attempted to meet with another. Her knight in shining armour. Love and emotions were a totally different ball game when it came to demons. Her love revolved around torture and danger. "I have no knight in shining armour, deary. I neither want nor need one. However," Lothani paused, stepping that little bit closer over the ice so that there was a metre left of it before the shore, "you'll need yours soon." And the majority of her sentence was true, really. What to do? What to do? What to do? So many various things she could complete.
Which to pick? Which option to choose? Did it matter which one? No. Still standing, in one step Lothani closed the gap between the girl and herself, and leant down the many feet of her height to do an extraordinary thing no one would have expected. In imitation, Lothani's muzzle and whiskers collided softly with the girl's cheek, letting go of a resounding call known as a purr. Her gentle fur brushed lovingly against the girl, her head easily dwarfing the human's, as she continued her pattern of affection.
Nothing anyone would have forseen.

Ooc: Aww, thankyou….and of course your posts are amazing.
Bic:
Part of Hope wasn’t sure about the silences, it allowed time for thinking. This lovely demoness could be thinking of different ways to destroy her…but still Hope didn’t want to think like that, she wanted to be okay with this demon, and that she would be okay with her. But in so many ways the human life didn’t work like that. She hated that there was so much fear in the world…why couldn’t everyone just get along? ‘But life is more complicated than that, Hope, everything isn’t fun and games anymore. It’s real.’
Growing up was painful for those reasons…it was the real deal, you were no longer playing, pretending and picturing a perfect life. You had to make it on your own, if you wanted it what ever was classified as ‘perfect’ you had to strain yourself to simply get a glimpse. It was scary once you really thought about, and that’s why Hope escaped the idea – as she had done many times before – to look at the demoness, hoping to preserve the thoughts.
She spoke to her, once her coal black eyes moved up to her large form; she withheld the gasp dying to escape. Had she heard correctly? If she could twist that disguised statement, she was sure that it meant her death was to be held upon that night. After all the word of assuring herself it would be all right, she was back to where she started, fretting over her life. She could always run, right now, sneak away while the demoness wasn’t looking. But how smart would that really be? With those long legs she could catch Hope in a matter of seconds; the castle was pretty far away from the lake. So no one would hear her petty screams. A shame, really.
Hope didn’t even have a wand in her pocket, so her defenses were slim. She had left it in her dorm as she always did when she didn’t have to attend classes. Like today. The 18 year old would hate to admit out loud she was scared, she was always the go-and-do it girl, if that made any bit of sense. She seemed to never be afraid, always up for something new…but yes, she could feel her body quiver. But only the slightest.
Now, with one step, she was so near Hope she thought she’d faint. And at the moment she knew her head would be bitten off, it was a simple cat-like gesture, the rub of her muzzle against Hope’s cheek. She almost died from being thankful by this…but oh how she expected the cat’s claw to take a turn on her fortunate soul. If only she was a small sized kitty, and not a big demon that she thought would destroy her…she breathed in deeply, closing her eyes in a prayer.
“Why?” she asked, this could very well be the end of her, that simple question. But it slipped past those once tightly sealed cherry lips, and she spoke the word into Lothani’s ear.
Offence, or a reason to return to killing. Either or, she knew she would die.
Death. Yikes.
That sounded scary.
