OOC: *breaks down crying* BIC: At the sound of Fenris's voice, Roan stopped midstep, and felt like she was frozen where she stood. No..... All the color drained from her face, leaving her like a ghost. All fury at Rezna was forgotten. Fenris was back, the thing, the abomination that plagued her nightmares and drove her to fear. The one she swore revenge on. Turning slowly so she could look on both Rezna and Fenris, the girl's hands began to shake as her eyes caught his. This was her nightmare come true. "No...." The Hufflepuff's voice came out in a wobbly whisper. He was still far enough away to not do any harm yet, but she knew that 50 feet wouldnt protect her if the time came. Her hazel eyes were filled with fear as she looked at Rezna, realizing with horror, she was in danger too. More so than she. The elder Hufflepuff was wandless. Taking a deep breath and moving slowly, she made her way back towards Rezna until she was within about 5 feet. Inside her robes Roan fumbled with the wooden wand of hers that had been so useless in the last attack. She had every intention of passing it on to Rezna, she was the elder, the strongest, and knew many more spells than she. Roan didnt dare take on the responsibility herself. She had already failed once. Unable to speak she turned her gaze back towards Fenris, shaking where she stood. All the anxiety of the last attack was washing over her. This was not going to be easy. Both Rezna and her had to get out alive, at least Rezna. She would not let the girl suffer for her foolishness. With a thought Roan chose to keep her mouth shut and not retort anything. That had been the fatal flaw last time. OOC: I hate you Fenris

'Oh, Irony, must you be so cruel?' Rezna thought as she heard the all too familiar voice from behind. Although the words were a blur, the voice rang loud and clear.
Closing her eyes for a second, the blond girl took a few deep breaths to relax her body, for her muscles had contracted on impulse as the lycan's voice registered in her mind. Slowly, purposely, the girl pulled her feet out of the water and just as slowly stood up from the ground. Each move was so simple and deliberate, one would think she was preparing to do them for the last time.
And for Rezna that was the truth. She believed in second chances, and she had received a miracle by surviving her last meeting with, Fenris. Now, however, she was sure that her luck had expired. She stood before him, alone and vulnerable. Still, she had no intention of giving up.
Now, hearing someone walking towards her, she pivoted in her place as she turned to face the approaching figure. Yet Rezna's green eyes fell on a person she did not expect to see, Roan. The look of terror on her face, of shock and utter fear, caused the blond to collect herself more forcefully.
Roan had returned instead of running. That show of courage gave Rezna hope. If she could face her fears so easily, then Rezna had to make sure that the brunette lived to see that courage in herself.
And that thought alone drove any last trace of nerves from her body. With definite steps, the barefoot girl walked forward on the grass until she stood level with Roan. Giving her a small smile and a nod in thanks, she continued past her until she stood a good three feet in front of her.
Rezna knew then why Roan had returned. The other's green eyes had caught the movement of her hand, as it clutched around her wand. Still, in the blond's case, using it would be the signing of their fates. That grave mistake was one that Rezna did not plan to make that day. Seeing no further movement from Roan, she figured that the other's thoughts ran parallel with hers at least on that account.
'You've made mistakes before. Let's try not to repeat them, at least for Roan's sake,' she thought to herself as she eyed the man a good distance away from them.
And so the three stood quietly. Roan would probably not speak, she was too frightened. The lycan had spoken already, but Rezna would much rather give up her turn. She figured that if he had asked a question, he would have to repeat it for she had not heard a thing. If he had uttered some negative comment, she didn't plan to answer to that in any way. Rezna would not look like a fool, not if it was the last night of her life.

OOC: If my presence is not desired, just say the word and it will drift away...
IC:
A deep red-gold color adorned the normally blue sky. It was as if an inspired painter had been given a brush and a palette of paints and been told to run wild. Beauty had come out of this request and the scene was simply breathtaking. There was nothing to inturrupt the sunset, except for the occasional , now orange, cloud etched across the horizon. And the warm colors of fall only accentuated this painting. It was as if the world had somehow come perfectly together.
Aidana Hawkins breathed in the crisp air as she walked down the hill to the lake. This beautiful scene lay before her, and she took it deeply in. Somehow, it felt as if a big part of her life had passed by and she could do nothing about it. Recently she had become oblivious to the rest of the world, and only now was she noticing such gaps. It was as if she was missing something, she was missing life.
She sighed as she came to the edge of the lake. All this was the same. It was the same water, the same castle, the same ground which she stood on. Yet, so much had gone by, she didn't know where to begin. Lost in thought, Aidana distractedly kicked a loose pebble into the water. Small wavelets spread out as the pebble hit the water with a quiet splash. Softly, she smiled, knowing she had found the meaning of why she came here. Life was just like those waves. It started out small and just got bigger, until finally it disappeared again. It wasn't a sad thought, far from it.
Yet the fact still remained that she didn't know what was happening now here at her beloved Magic Horizons. Whispers here and there was all she heard, and none of them made sense anyway. To her, it seemed as if she was walking blindly out into the world for the first time. So much had probably changed, it might as well have been. Puzzled yet again, Aidana turned away from the lake. She could find no more answers here. If the lake had any more secrets to hold, it was keeping them well.
Just as she had been about to turn away, a flash of color appeared in the corner of her vision. Focusing on the color, Aidana found a surprising sight. There was that bright haired girl she had met, Rezna. The other two she didn't know at all. A girl with dark hair and a man. She hadn't talked to people in a while, and what better way to find out what had been going on? Pushing her thoughts to the back of her head, Aidana smiled brightly as she made her way over to the three. The reddish light from the sun reflected off her hair, making it look as if it was even more on fire, yet her emerald eyes were bright as she was about to go meet a friend.
" Hello, Rezna how are you? I don't think I know your friends..." she trailed off, her smile faltering. Something was wrong here, very wrong. She had never seen that look upon Rezna's face, except for once, long ago. That look of fierce determination which would take her to the top. For all she knew, that girl could have already been to the top. The brunette girl was a different story. A terrified look covered her face as she looked at the man. Had something happened between them?
The man, himself, didn't look very remarkable. He was too old to be a student, he looked to be about middle aged. Maybe he was a teacher? She didn't know, but she knew that she certainly hadn't seen him anywhere before. Maybe it was just the looks on the two girls' faces, but Aidana sensed something was different about this man. She couldn't tell what, but she had a feeling that she would find out soon.
" I hope I'm not inturrupting anything?" she asked, turning to the man before her.

(ooc: Come on. You know better then anything that your presence is more then just desired! I'm glad to see you.)
bic:
Rezna's gaze had been focused so intently on the man in the distance that she had not heard the footfalls of the approaching girl until she stood right beside her. Somehow, even the startling question did not make Rezna jump. Her mind and body seemed to have been frozen to any sort of emotion. Surprise, fear, anger, the expression of any of those was void from the blond girl's face.
Dropping her gaze from Fenris, Rezna's green eyes fell on the girl next to her. A small glimmer appeared in the blond's eyes when she recognized her friend through the darkness that had settled over her sight.
She had not seen Aidana for months, and seeing her now, standing before her with a smile made Rezna's heart contract with hope and pain at once. But even if Aidana was stronger, braver, and more able then the Hufflepuff could ever be, she did not recognize the man far ahead of them. But either did Rezna, until a few weeks back.
Rezna looked at Aidana for a few seconds, as if making up her mind. She knew that Aidana would never walk away from a fight, but that did not appear to be a fight of her choosing. In the end, all that Rez could do was give the facts and present a choice that the new arrival had come to face.
"Hello Aidana. Before us stands a man, a lycan in truth, with utter hate for human beings. He's working for a man who's been threatening the school and the students for a while now. Now, I know that I have to be here, and Roan has chosen this, but you, you have a choice before you. One that I will let you make on your own."
Taking a few steps forward, Rezna let her eyes fall on the lycan once more. She had to inform Aidana, she had to warn her before she suffered a fate worse then the one Rezna had avoided.
"He may make you an enemy if you side with us or stay. I for one, think my fate has been decided. I only hope that yours is far better one than mine. If you do stay, know that I'm not armed, and Roan is a nervous wreck, a side affect from a meeting with that man. This is not your fight, so do not feel bad about your choice. And I'm sorry for the roughness of my little speech, but I have little time for discussions."

"No?", crooned Fenrir crazily back at Roan as she retreated toward Rezna, "Did you think that you would never see the likes of me again, or at least not in reality; that I would be a monster that could be vanquished the instant you awaken? Oh no little one; it is much harder than that and though such lessons when learned are useful in the future. That is if you live long enough to have one; that streak of bravery in you nearly got you killed in the library? Or do you forget that day when we first met? When you were struggling to reach a book on the top shelf; when I entered that aisle and decided to let you be thanks to...another voice."
"Yet you wasted that gift; you provoked me into action when you could have gone back to reading in peace and quiet without knowning about Fenris Fenrir. Yet you challenged me and had it not been for the lycaness Sealla; you would have been carrion. And even after Sealla had calmed me down to a point where I could control myself; you aginate the fires of my madness by comparing me to a human; saying that there is still some human in me. I gave you two chances and you wasted them both; that shows how truely ungrateful you humans really are."
But the arrival of a third student caught Fenrir's attention and just the appearance of the girl screamed out at him that she had to be related to the boy that had tried to defend Hayzie Roberts. Same hair; same eye color, same everything that could be connected. And she didn't know what was going on nor who he was? Even with Rezna's butchered description of who and what he was, Fenris quirked his right eyebrow as he began to advance even closer toward the trembling Roan. "So is that what I am? Such the narrow-minded thinker you are, Miss Blond. Had you opened your eyes some; you might have been able to see and realize that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to any being at all. And who says that I am evil? Evil is a point of perspective in the first place and it is something that varies with every mind that it touches."
By now Fenrir had stopped right in front of Roan and slowly his left arm rose so that he could cup Roan's chin in the palm of his left hand. My; the poor little dear was quivering like the dickens; he must have truely scarred someone that day. "Poor, poor little girl", murmered Fenris Fenrir, "Only now do you truely see what you should be afraid of in me; when I am nice and unpredictable.."

Fear filled brown eyes caught a glimmer of red that to Roan’s relief, turned out to be another girl. And she seemed familiar with Rezna at that. The more the better, that would make it more likely the three of them got out alive. But Roan couldn’t suppress the feeling that three young witches could not take on a lycan of his size. While the Hufflepuff informed Aidana of the situation, a terrified Roan kept her eyes locked on Fenris. He was coming closer.
This cannot be real…the quivering girl told herself over and over again. The lycan was moving nearer towards the three, closing that safe distance. Soon he would be close enough to attack if he wanted to. And that thought freaked the heck out of Roan, that she should go through that again. With a quavering voice she uttered a warning to the girls. “Rezna…” fear flowing through it. He didn’t stop, the lycan came closer, and took to taunting her.
Tears stung her eyes but she refused to let them show. She had to stay strong if anything was going to happen here. But the words he spoke to her stung. Roan had given up her chance several times to let him leave her be, but given up each one. It had been the girl’s foolish mouth that had sealed her fate that day. Roan would never make the same mistake again, if any words had to be said to Fenris, they would be carefully chosen. But while pondering these thoughts, he had gotten closer. Again she uttered the Hufflepuff’s name, now with more urgency. “Rezna…”.Fenris was within arm reach, and Roan was terrified.
Although she knew she should move, fear had rooted her to her spot. Roan wasn’t going anywhere as Fenris reached out towards her face and cupped her chin. The girl’s hazel eyes were filled with a fright she desperately tried to suppress with no avail. Be brave, stay strong. You have to. But Roan couldn’t contain the terror that caused her to shake. "Leave me be." the girl whispered, a small glimmer of pleading in her eyes. She had suffered enough, and had no intentions to suffer anymore.

She had watched him advance, every step of the way. And as her eyes took in every feature of the man, feelings like those she had never felt before coursed through her body. Fighting to keep any of them from reaching her voice or her features, she let out a nervous breath.
'Rezna'
Rezna's mind played back her life, the life she knew she was about to put on the line.
'Rezna!'
The green eyes come to focus on the life of another, a life that needed saving. Seeing the lycan so close to Roan, and seeing the girl's terrified face allowed Rezna to collect herself once more.
Turning around, she walked over to where the man and girl stood. As she walked towards them, her stride was filled with confidence, strength, and determination which even surprised the blond herself. With the small momentum she had gained, Rezna was able to push the man's large arm away from Roan's chin with her own small hand as she wedged herself in between the two.
"If you're not cruel, then explain what you're doing to this girl? Prove me wrong and let her be," Rezna told him in a voice that was not her own. It belonged to a girl who was not the caring and gentle Rezna everyone knew. It was a girl who had emerged only once before.
"I am not as narrow minded as you might thing, Sir. I know that there is much more to every living being, including you. However, you've yet to show me something to contradict my conclusions. As for good and evil, I guess by both our thoughts we fit both descriptions. However, in my book, good is helping others, not hurting them. When applying good or evil to a certain cause, one can find that when using good, the cause is not forced upon others. Forcing is the work of evil, for evil doesn't give a choice, doesn't allow for other ideas."
By now Rezna's green eyes were locked with those that had stared at her right before dropping her off the building. Unlike a human's, very little emotion played behind those of the lycan. The blond's too, held very little information for him to read into.
"Enlighten me, if you will, to your ideas of good and evil. Prove me wrong once more, and tell me that I am wrong as to my assumptions."

Evil? Aidana could hardly supress a laugh. This man standing before her was supposed to be evil? She had seen evil, fought it, and this man didn't look anything like it. Yet, appearence wasn't always reality. The dark-haired girl was looking at him with a look of pure terror. Still though, Aidana had her doubts about this man being who Rezna told him to be. Just because he was a lycan didn't mean that he was against students. She could remember a few of the kind who had helped her on occassion when she was desperately in need of it.
Still, Aidana was quite taken aback when he ignored her presence, instead choosing to advance towards the girl she didn't know. She watched with awkward stillness as he cupped his hand around her chin, obviously making her uncomfortable. Only when he told his story did she understand what Rezna had meant. He had cornered an innocent student inside the school, and scarred her emotionally for life. Automatically, she began to reach for her wand, but stopped herself. Rezna had spoken, retorting to the man. Aidana knew that it was time for her to decide which side she would support. This decision took a few good moves in the right direction.
" You do know he's right Rezna," she spoke, breaking the silence. An odd bird called out in the distance, and an owl hooted welcoming the coming darkness. " Evil is the perspective from which it is seen. What is seen as evil to one may or may not be seen as evil to another." She stepped in between the man and the brunette girl, maybe she could play both sides on this one. The girl would hopefully calm down, and maybe have the good sense to leave. Or she might stay and choose to fight. What would Aidana do then?
" You also know he has a point?" she said, speaking to the unknown girl for the first time. " I can infer from this story that you called this lycan a human. You should have known that they view us as beneath them." A small, almost undetectable edge of sarcasm had creeped into her voice, but just as soon as it had come, it disappeared. Now she turned to the man who had scared Roan. To her, he was most enigmatic.
" There was one such other who we saw as evil some time ago. Of course, his followers did not see him as evil, but as their savior from the Headmistress' reign. He was not as unpredictable as you see yourself, quite the contrary. He wanted to have control of the school. Do you have the same quest?" she asked him, her emerald eyes searching his, maybe she would find some answers there. " Or do you just feel as if you have to impose your beliefs of evil on others?"
" Though I distinctly get the feeling you have just come here to amuse yourself, maybe with the thought you would be conquering us all soon? Either way, we must be acquainted. I am Aidana Hawkins," she extended her hand. He couldn't ignore her now. " We may meet again soon, though as friends or foes? Only the forrest knows..."

"Well Miss Hawkins; it would seem that I recognize the similiarites between you and a certain boy that I encountered. Another red head with a streak of courage in him; an Aylen Hawkins. Perhaps it is merely coincidence that you two share the same last name or perhaps you are family, but it really doesn't matter to me; this analysis only helps me to determine you better.", said Fenris as he still cupped the chin of Roan and his fingers began to slowly caress her as if she were a infant. These students had so much to learn when it came to the thought process of a mad man; they had only come close to grasping why he did what he did.
"Now why should I tell you how I tick Blond? So that you could use that knowledge against me in the future; no, I don't think I will give you any satisfaction in that area. But there is one thing that you can know; if that is how you see good and evil; then my morals are more 'flexible' than yours. And why should I let go of this girl? She needs comforting and it seems that none of you have provided her with this and physical contact is one of the quickest ways to be comforted. I am surprised that you females wouldn't have caught on faster, seeing how you were described to me as the caring type. Yet; I don't think I will let go of her; not just yet, but in time she can go back with you to the Castle; but not now."
"For now there is one question that I think you want me to answer for you and this question I can do so without regret. I am not attacking the school for power, I am doing it because I pledged my loyal to a being that wishes to remake this school, for better or for worse. What do I get for doing this? I get the destruction of certain documents; documents that you humans have been using to tie the lycans down now for centuries. That and as much flesh as I can consume, for all living creatures need to feed and with my unquenchable hunger; the school might just be the place to satisfy those cravings of mine."
"And Miss Hawkins; since you do not know me, I am Fenris Fenrir, a lycan of the wood and memeber of the Forest Pack. And whether we are friends or foes all depends on what you do when the school is cleansed."

OOC: Ok, there is some conflicting RPing going on here between Fenris and Rezna, but Im going with Fenris’s post just because I have to make a choice and because you (Aidana and Rezna) got to meet those actors today and Im jealous, he he.
BIC: After Aidana spoke, Roan immidatley liked her in a way. She wasn’t as set to one side of the issue as she and Rezna were. But then again the red haired girl had never met the evil lycan. But still, she was keeping a calm, diplomatic mood. Breathing deeply while listening to the girls speak Roan found herself calming down. With the two of them nearby she felt no harm could come to her yet. So with Fenris’s hand still on her face, she found some courage to speak to Aidana for a moment.
“I know miss, that I made a mistake that day in the library, I never said it wasn’t my fault this lycan attacked me. But that doesn’t give me a reason to not hate and fear him.” Her voice wasn’t quavering anymore, as she found anger replacing the fear that had captured her before.
Rezna and Aidana seemed set on getting some answer out of Fenris, this she decided. Listening intently she found herself for the first time feeling a of sorrow for lycans. Not Fenris, she could never feel sorrow for him, but other lycans. Not all of them could be as evil as he was, and must still be treated as this mad one was. Shivers ran down her spine as he spoke of “comforting” her. If he thought his hand on her face was comforting, then he was insane. With all her heart she wanted to tell him the only thing that could comfort her would be him in a grave. But Roan knew if those words ever left her mouth then she would probably see her own grave pretty soon. "Fenris, leave me be."
Once again there was strength in her voice, for she had no intention of staying for whatever he wanted. Right now she just wanted to go back to the common room and curl up in bed, pretend this never happened that she never saw him this night. But never in a million years would she leave these two girls, no matter how powerful they were.

Miss? That was quite odd. A small smirk formed on Aidana's lips. Nobody called her miss except for her teachers or one certain boy of Hufflepuff. Seeing that this girl was also from that house, she smiled. Maybe all of those Hufflepuffians were overly formal. She listened to the mycan speak. It seemed that he knew her brother. The smile faded into a look of concern. Her brother had run into a lycan? She hadn't known that before. Well, it didn't seem as if this particular lycan was harmful. He hadn't attacked them yet, as she expected creatures of the forest to.
Slowly Aidana let her hand drop softly to her side. It seemed as if this lycan was unwilling to relinquish his hold of the small Hufflepuff girl. In fact, he continued to make her even more uncomfortable. Slowly Aidana backed away from the two of them. It seemed as if her presence wasn't going to do anything. If she inturrupted now, how was it going to affect her part in whatever was going to happen? She had to make the right moves at the right time. She took a deep breath and collected her thoughts. Some documents? What was he talking about? Of course lycans couldn't freely enter the school to pray on students, but it seemed that this one had done just that. She could understand his need for food. Maybe the students had stopped venturing into the forest as of late. Yes...all this was very interesting. A few good moves in the right direction...
She turned and walked to the edge of the lake, so close to them. It was dusk now, and the sun had almost set. The deep blue lake had now turned red, reflecting the sky. A deep crimson pool of blood, possibly what would happen to the school again. Aidana sat down next to the lake, stretching her legs out. The water was to her left, and the small group was to her right. Idly she dipped the edges of her fingers into the water, the icy cold liquid making her arm tingle. A few good moves in the right direction...
" Is that a challenge Mr. Fenrir?" she said softly looking up at him. " When the school is clensed, not if? Are you assuming that you will in fact consume all the human flesh there? I happen to like challenges Mr. Fenrir." Her hand jerked suddenly in the water, and a few drops splashed out and fell next to the lycan. An odd smile appeared on her face, as she slowly stood up, brushing off her left hand. Aidana deliberately stopped right next to him, a fire behind her eyes.
" Yet if we meet as friends or foes is completely dependant upon you..." Once again, her right hand was outstretched in front of her.

(ooc: the 'conflicting RPing' is not on my part, but I do hope that it wasn't deliberate.)
bic:
Rezna could not believe what Aidana was saying. Had Aylen not spoken with her? What sort of world did she live in that she did not know of the attacks, the kidnappings? These questions Rezna fought ever so hard to keep from appearing on the surface. The worst part was watching her friend considering siding with the lycan, the lycan that almost killed her.
Indeed, watching the two wrecked her heart more forcefully then she could have imagined. Worst thing was that she had no means of stopping it. Aidana was strong and old enough to make these decisions for herself. Rezna only hoped that she choose them carefully.
But, letting her eyes fall on Fenris once more, she couldn't help but scoff at what he told her. His flexible morals seemed to be made of water. All she had heard and seen him do was of pure hatred. Even imagining him as doing something 'good' was difficult. And how could she, seeing as all of her memories concerning him were of him attacking, threatening, and almost killing teachers and students. No, unless she saw him do good, she would never believe him to have heart.
As for this leader, well, at least she now possessed more knowledge as to his intentions. Should she live to see her friends, she was sure to mention it to them. Now, of course, her main priority centered around what Fenris's plans on coming to them were. Rezna kept wondering why he did nothing but sneer and prick at the wounds he had created in the past for both girls.

OOC: I hope you enjoy, it took a while, and practice on my little bro
Roan was tiring of whatever game Fenris was playing. She wanted out, and she wanted it now. With growing anger, her hazel eyes caught the lycan's for a moment, uttering another warning. If he did not comply she would act, not be helpless like she was in the library. "Fenris, let go and leave me be." The girl's voice came out hard as steel, her muscles tensing. Once again she shot him a glare and gave him a small time to ponder her offer. But she thought it highly unlikely he would answer, so she chose to act. Moving her hand back into her robes, she fingered the smooth wood of her wand, formulating a plan on what to do.
Aidana's movement caught her eye, and Roan felt a sudden worry, if Fenris took her words and the water as even a small thread, the red haired girl would be blamed. And Aidana hadn't met Fenris in his madness before, didn't know what could await her. But you do, you are not as ignorant of what he can become as she is. Put away your fear and redeem yourself, its time to act. The girl thought to herself. So far Fenris hadn't made any hostile moves, so far. So if combat was started by her, it would be the Hufflepuff's fault. If either Rezna or Aidana were injured or killed, her fault. But the meeting was getting more tense by the second, like a bowstring being drawn back. And at some point that had to be released. With a silent apology, she resolved herself to her decision.
Hazel eyes turned to meet Rezna near her. The other Hufflepuff was her elder, therefore more skilled with a wand. So Roan knew her first move needed to be to pass it on. But Fenris was smart, and would easily notice the movement, and probably try to block it. There had to be a distraction. With a sigh, Roan noticed the lycan's hand on her chin, so near her mouth, a perfect place to strike. The girl was not oblivious to the nerve bundle between the index finger and the thumb. If she were to bite that, it didn't matter how large Fenris was, it should cause some pain. At least enough to distract him while she transferred the wand. But take care he doesn't bite you back. A warning popped into Roan's head, bringing her to the next issue. After moving the wand, the girl would need to get away from Fenris. Plan worked out in her head, the girl once again used her eyes to tell Rezna and Aidana what was going on. A clear message was shining through them. I'm sorry. Turning back to Fenris, she sighed, her eyes meeting his for a split second before she began.
In future days when the girl would tell her story of this, the next part would be a blur. A very tensed blur. Getting a firm grip on her wand, she removed it from her robes and quickly thrust it into the hand of Rezna who was nearby, not taking the time to make sure the other Hufflepuff had ahold on it. At the same time Roan shifter her head so she could get a clear bit at the web of Fenris's hand. Immediately after, she released and brought both of her own small hands to his wrist. The human wrist is a wonderful thing. When bent the wrong way, it has excruciating pain, and can be used to control the person the wrist belongs to. Pushing her weight forward, Roan bent Fenris's wrist in the opposite direction before shifting her weight back, wrist still bent wrong, and pulling his arm forward, thus his whole body. If she had put enough force into what she did, it would have been enough to break a wrist and possibly tear the arm from its socket. But Fenris was much larger than Roan, so all she could hope for was the pain it should cause. Quickly moving to the side so she would not be in Fenris's path, Roan stood there breathing heavily, silently thanking her muggle parents for their concern for her well being.
What have I done. The Hufflepuff thought with a bit of surprise. That amount of energy had never come out of her. But the deed was done, there was no going back. Roan had signed her own fate, and knew there would be reprocutions. All she could do was hope Rezna and Aidana were good shots with a wand, and that the two got out alive. Even if it cost her life. So she stood, eyes focused on Fenris, waiting for the next move.

Fenrir's eyes widened as this girl, that so foolishly taunted him in the past, bit into the small piece of skin that connected his thumb to his index finger, since there was where the most skin was. Yet before his heightened reaction time could kick in, his wrist was bent backward and soon he was pulled forward with such force that he never thought a human capable of, especially this girl. In his surprise, he fell forward and landed with a crash in the grass, and slowly picked himself up; with that maniacal smile starting to spread over his features.
"You humans never learn do you? Here I was; not doing anything that would have harmed you at all, and look what your friend does! She does violence onto me; the one thing that drives me into action; violence. So; I will be somewhat merciful. Since you, Miss Hawkins, and you, Blond, have not tried to hurt me this night; you will return to the Castle if you know what is best for you. And as for Miss Valient here; she will come back on her own power; after I am finished with her. Now I accept her challenge, for it was she that started this contest of strength, not you; so begone. That is all I have to say to you.", said Fenris as he stood still; that smile widening all the more.
A new side of Fenrir was shown and to what point? It was rejected by the Humans altogether. So they seemed to like arguing or fighting with a mad beast; not talking with a more civilized man. Perhaps they didn't want to acknowledge that there was more to this beast, but if that was the case; Fenrir would now happily obliged in that new request. If they didn't like when Richard Rutherford and Fenris Fenrir tried to mold into one personality; then so be it.
Soon that same silver-grey fur started to sprout and Fenrir disrobed so that his clothes would be there when he chose to return to being a man once more. Within three minutes time; there was no more man; there was the colossal, bloodthristy hellhound that was known to man as Fenris Fenrir. The Great Wolf to some, the Lord of the Hunt to others, but the Enforcer of Angelus Morti; that was his claim to fame for the moment. And now; these children would see why.
'Remember me better, little Miss Valient? I am sure you do now; no one forgets the face that they saw last when they thought that they might never awaken again. And now; let us begin with the pleasantries, shall we?', said Fenris into Roan's mind; his lips now curling up in anger and the prospect of inflicting pain. With a howl did Fenrir burst into action, and even though Roan was no longer where she was when he had first been hurt by her, he adjusted and charged into her; knocking her into the shallow water of the Lake.
Once he caught up with his prey, Fenrir let his left paw press hard into her back; his claws producing blood at how hard he pushed his weight into her. With his right paw, he keep her head under the water; letting her drown, but only to bring it up just as he felt her body slacken (sorry about the God-rping><) 'How are you little Miss Valient? Feeling so brave now? If you think I am going to kill you; you are wrong. You get to suffer until you learn the meaing of "children shoudn't play with fire!". In this scenario; you are the child and I am the fire; you wanted to play with me little Miss Valient? LET'S PLAY!'

Why did Aidana ever think that she could affect what was inevitably going to happen? Just for a second there, she believed that this man would be civilized and take her help instead of reverting to his feral instincts. Yet, nothing doing. Her first clue she had seen out of the corner of her eye. The small Hufflepuff girl had tried to make eye contact, possibly to warn her of something. It was then that Aidana knew something was coming. Stupid girl! She should've known better than to provoke a creature of the forest. There was a better way to make him let go, there was always a better way. She had been trying so hard to divert his attention, in what was now a futile attempt.
Her gaze flicked to Rezna, who stood there watching them. She couldn't tell if the girl had recieved her friend's warning. No matter, Aidana had to back away now. Her hand quickly dropped from her side as she took a few hasty steps back, away from the lake. She winced as the girl's teeth sank into the man's hand. Though, he wasn't a man much longer. It didn't take a Seer to see that he was enraged. Silver fur started coming out of his body and he sank down to four feet. A giant wolf now stood before the three girls.
Aidana thought fear would overtake her body, but it did not. Instead rage commanded her now. Just a few seconds before the man had dismissed her, as if he was far superior. She knew that lycans thought humans filth, but while he was in human form he had to show respect. She wasn't his slave, to come and leave at his will. She was a person of her own, with her own mind. And that mind was telling her to stay. Her hand plunged into her robes and wrapped around the long ebony wand that lay there. Aidana had hoped that she would not need this wand today, but now she had no choice.
She did not intervene as the lycan retaliated to the dark haired girl's provocation. That much was to be expected, and she felt as if he had a right to do so. Yet, when the girl's body had slackened and blood poured out where his claws had torn into her skin, she knew that he had gone too far. Aidana brought her wand out slowly and held steadily at both the lycan and the girl. She wasn't pointing it at either one of them.
" I am not sure if you can still understand me but try. I did not have a quarrel with you lycan," she said in a cold hard voice. Whatever mirth was present before, was certainly gone now. " Except for one. You brought that upon yourself when you decided to think nothing of my offered friendship." A wave of anger ran through her body, and the tip of her wand began to glow a dark red, contrasting with the wood's black.
" Let the girl go for now and that offer still stands. I do not want to fight you over something this petty, and you would not want me as an enemy. I tried to appeal to your rational side, but I see that did not work. I prefer neutrality in this, yet I believe I have to choose sides. It will be either your side or theirs. As I said before, it all depends on you lycan."
