It's not like it could have lasted. They forever seemed to fall, when a human thought that they could overtake something, they were obviously wrong, they fail miserably, or give up. No, Xailyn never precisely was a slave to the man planning to take over Magic Horizons. It was simply a nice excuse to kill random students, a little bit of exhiliration to add to her, at the moment, boring life. But now, he moved on - she was ready to move on. She'd have no regrets, her time would now be more focused on the Forbidden Forest, to help make it even more of a threat than before, to show people she wasn't just some lifeless minion. For she never was.
Her crimson eyes traveled around the small clearing she sat in. Her legs, adorned in fishnet were crossed. The ice demoness' back rested against a tree's large trunk, the rest of her body was in a silk, red dress, the bottom was purposely torn, some of the tears barely reaching mid-thigh. Her neckline fell low, revealing some of her cleavage. Xailyn's skin was close to white, only hints of ivory were noticible. But in the shade of forest, she leaned more towards ghost rather than human. Or, well, demon.
She couldn't help as her mind fell back into what she were to do now, even though she had already decided. She could almost feel a pang of sadness, for she knew Fenris would be gone aswell. Though the icy demoness seemed cold towards everyone, she couldn't help but start to like Fenris, he had very interesting character, and she admired his passion to kill. But Xailyn assumed, and was most likely correct, the he followed 'the master' sure, fine, Xailyn would be okay. It wasn't like anyone really took notice of her, not too often. That was fine. Just fine.
But everyone would know soon, Xailyn would freeze the whole forest if it took to her getting noticed. Hell, she was already. Not purposely, though, but, the pieces of ground her bare legs touched were turning frosty, and soon would be skimmed with a thin layer of ice. Only to get thicker, thicker, thicker...
Xailyn would, of course, get up before the process of freezing everything became to hazordous.
Sigh.

Dante felt the demoness more than saw her she felt the cold seeping through the forest the cold and even a small bit of sorrow. She knew this demon was Xailyn Rose. She knew that this was the woman that had gotten so very close to Fenris. And now he was no where to be found, him and The Master. The girl was cold under her kimono but the coldness wasn't on the outside, it was inside, the pain the was the sickness, the actual one and the one that the plan to whole thing might as well be over. The girl could no longer feel on the outside she was numb all the better if she was going to talk with the ice demoness. Nothing lasted forever. The truth in three simple words. Nothing did, especially not life, and it seemed that for the girl living was over. She reached the demon she knew it the soft crunch of the grass where the woman rested, indicated that it was frozen.
"I guess hes gone isn't he?" She asked though she didn't;t really need an answer. She knew what the answer would be, she didn't need the woman to answer.
"I kinda figured he would go, and I knew that Fenris would go with him, it hurt didn't it a person you're close to leaving, I am truly sorry." Dante meant it she really did it had to hurt the woman.
"If there were something I could do I would." Dante knew it was impossible, but she offered, the woman would accept help and Dante wouldn't;t live long enough to help. But she offered none the less.

A sigh left her heavily painted lips, soon after she thought about sighing. It was really quite a releaving action. With her pallor and excessive use of red lipstick, heavy black eyeliner, and lengthy mascara she felt like a doll. It was always this way. No emotion were you able to make, simply one-way faux smile. Though, Xailyn didn't smile. She was a lifeless doll. Her body was done up in fancy fishnet and clothing, again adding to her theory of being a little doll. But the most common thing she could relate to the object was complete emptiness, emptiness inside. Of course this wasn't just happening now, no, it had always been that way...but...she just could feel it more now for some reason. Her dark red eyes lifted to focus on a girl, wandering into the forest. It was that girl, Dante...Xailyn zoomed in on her eyes, blind. She actually felt bad for blind people, there is so much you can't see. But, other feelings would be stronger. Perhaps it's good not to see, you'd get a lot further. Looks wouldn't matter...a lot less would matter - things that shouldn't matter. But alas, her ruby eyes could see well, and there she was...standing in the Forbidden Forest. Damn, Xailyn, though her mind spoke it didn't really feel like killing the girl. Maybe she'd talk a bit to get into the mood, besides, Dante was talking to her now. Causing The ice demoness to tilt her head, a slight frown furrowing her brow. But soon the same emotionless expression came over her face as she listened further to the girl. Her fingers played with the ruffles at the end of her silk dress, contemplating whether to answer the question or not. 'He' might not have been who she thought 'he' was. A somewhat amused grin was displayed on her lips, as Dante continued talking, an odd glint shining in her demonic colored eyes. "Oh, but you don't understand," she started, her look, amused, but hollow. "I wasn't close to anyone, I can't be...it's frozen, it doesn't beat, it doesn't feel... I don't feel. So really, you have nothing to feel sorry about," she was well masked, and if there were any emotions, which there would scarcely be, she couldn't make...feel them. "There's really nothing you can do, for there is no damage. I am the same now as I was before, just with no pass-time hobby." Xailyn wasn't even going to ask why Dante cared, if she really cared, or if she was lost and was just trying to get her way out of a beating. Either way, it didn't matter...she just didn't feel much like anything today. OOC I must compliment you on your post, Dante. ;D I thought you wrote it very beautifully.

"But he was close to you, even I could see that, he cared for you even if you didn't care for him, you stood beside him when nobody dared try." Dante closed her eyes and slid down the tree sitting on the cold grass but again not feeling it. Sighing she let her hands play with the grass, cold and brittle as it was.
"So Xailyn why are you in the forest, other than having nothing else to do?" She asked not really expecting an answer, the demoness would probably get annoyed with her soon enough and wish to take her life but that was all the better, the girl had come to this place to die and it was all the same.
"Nothing is the same anymore its all coming to an end." She sighed leaning back against the tree even more.
((OOC: Thanks Xailyn ;D))

The ghost was wandering through the forest. Sometimes she just had to get out of the castle, after all, it was well known that gypsies didn't do well inside stone walls. It wasn't that walls were bad for their health, it was just that the urge to be outside and moving about was part of their blood as much as their culture. It was part of why she had been so frustrated with life when she had started school fifteen years ago.
Her own frozen aura followed her as she floated between the great trunks of ancient trees that made up the forest. It was the sight of ice in front of her that made her stop for a moment. Was there another with such a frozen form as she in this weary wilderness? Heading for the centre of the spreading cirlce of ice, the phantomess peered around trees as she would have in life, simply out of habit, until she was just a couple of yards from the beind who was radiating this extra winter.
Peering around the tree, she saw the demoness, beautiful and doll-like. That was the thing about these particular creatures, they were beautiful, but deadly. Each one in their own way. If anyone knew that, then she should, it was how she had met her demise after all. Of course, the demoness she had faced had been rather more inclined to fire than ice. But who was to say all demonic creatures manipulated the same kind of power?
She decided to step out from behind the tree and say hello, even if Dante would think she was intruding on something that wasn't her business. The ghost knew perfectly well it wasn't her business, but she had long ago decided that she didn't care for other people's opinions of her. Besides, she wanted more to speak with this apparently frozen-hearted being.
"Hello," she said, softly. Her voice echoing within itself, hollow and reverberating. When a loose purple hair tickled her cheek, she tucked it back behind her ear, less worried in this now frozen landscape of what a touch of the ether might do to something, as it was already being done. The dead girl's bright green eyes looked upon the seated demoness, glancing at Dante in acknowledgement of the girl, though she knew the blind child could not see it.
