...though it's a shame he can't die. Sungai had been absent from the Lair and Forest of Magic Horizons Castle for a little over a month. He doubted his presence would have been missed, indeed even noticed, for he felt that he had hardly made an impression on the more darker creatures that he had acquainted himself with. Some select students, however, would find the Vampire etched so firmly in their minds that they would still be having nightmares of him to this day. Perhaps that was too compassionate of him, to allow them to live to have the nightmares, however Sungai refused to view it that way. You simply didn't kill every single person you came across. Every century or so you skip one or two, just for the nightmarish mental effect you then had upon them from that moment forth. Sungai grinned almost wolfishly in the moonlight as he reached the treeline of the Forest and he paused for a moment, wondering if he should risk a cigarette inside the Forest or smoke one before he entered. He held many of the creatures within the Forest in extremely high regard and there was almost no chance that you would find him flicking cigarette butts onto the ground covered in dry leaves. He instead put the butts into an empty alcoholic bottle that the label had come off - although Sungai knew it was a Butterbeer bottle, for he had seen enough of the wizards getting warmed up for a night of solid drinking on the stuff. Nowadays no liquid filled it, simply extinguished cigarettes that Sungai had had no other place to put. As evil as he was, he still had the utmost respect for Nature, for most of the time she became his Goddess. He decided upon lighting up his cigarette now and smoking some of it before plunging into the shadowy, embracing depths of the Forest. Sungai pulled out a recently rolled cigarette and flicked open his silver lighter, the flame lighting up his pale face but his haunting golden eyes reflecting the orange flickering triangle that flared a little brighter as the cigarette was successfully lit. Sungai moved his wrist deftly and the lighter swung closed, being replaced into its pocket, making a dull ting as it brushed against Sungai's ring that shone silver on his thumb. He rested the cigarette on his lips and took a drag, brushing the thumb of his other hand over the ring a few times before exhaling the smoke he had acquired. It was not out of the ordinary for Sungai to disappear at this time of year. He did it often it was bordering on tradition for him to do so - a routine in a life that was too unpredictable to have a regular everyday routine itself. Sungai allowed himself to be pushed down the river of life, but made sure he came close enough to the banks to pull himself out and complete his ritual of his past. There was still that slight inkling of something within him that wouldn't allow that time frame to go unnoticed. He took another drag of his cigarette and then turned to the Forest, straightening his robes and walking in. You never knew who you were going to meet in there. It was always best to look half respectable at least.

A girl who looked around seven years of age would be one that the vampire met that night. Alissa had come to the forest trying to find her sister, a girl she presumed would be lingering around somewhere, and yet had found a familiar, disgusting scent wafting in the air. "It's a cigarette."]/i] the boy at the lake had told her earlier on that day. Screwing up her nose in serious distaste, Alissa put her right braid behind her shoulder and carried on walking, determined not to bump into the character who held the cigarette in their hand.
Though lady luck was not on her side that night.
It was a maeeter of minutes before a tall, white haired figure was standing not too far away from her, towering over her small form even from where he stood. Alissa's eyes widened considerably and she stepped back a few paces, her cheeks reddening. The young Lycan looked up and whispered: "I-I'm sorry... I was finding my sister... good evening to you, Sir," before returning on her path to try and find Cealla.
Cigarettes were the worst thing Alissa had found yet.

No-Name watched, with some amusement. The child looked quite frazzeled by the gentleman's presence. She let out a giggle, that sounded like a loud purr, for No-Name was a cat. A two tailed cat, the color of french vinila ice cream, except for her black coal stripes, and great big ruby eyes. She yawned, streching her back out. She was soooooo BORED! Mabey one of these two would want to take her home! She put on a cute(r) face and pranced out of the bush, with an intriged look on her face.

{ooc}: Hurrah, a furball, now that's a new one. {bic}: The demoness had her gaze set on the handsome vampire - of whom she had met on several other occasions - from the second he flipped open his lighter. Had he taken a skilled glance through the trees at that moment, he may have even pin-pointed the demoness with her ever-so-slightly arched back against the trunk of a large she-oak. Although, naturally, the darkness hid her strikingly well. Stalking him silently, Mai fingered the air with her bare fingers, letting chilled breezes pass over her many curves and lick the almost-liquid material that was the skirt of her cream-corsétted dress. Black lace drove itself hard up the front of her garment, stretching no fine line between a perfect match in colour with her shined stiletto's. Walking through snow in dagger-tipped heels was a real bummer. Having the impeccable grace and agility of a demoness was flawless. The scent of a young lycaness passed pleasantly under the nose of the woman, and she side-stepped herself, disappearing behind another tree. She had nothing to worry about with boot-prints, for her ability to dissolve the snow behind her after each step was a hidden, heated delicacy - leaving her all the more invisible. Moving around the other side of the tree, Mai simply could not prevent herself from snorting at the sight of a domesticated furball - most likely a pet of one of the students at the school. Sliding her ivory tresses over her well-placed shoulders, Mai finally made herself visible and passed quite quickly over a sheet of lesser-shadowed ground. Toward the cat. Mai let out a chuckle, which sounded rather dangerous, for Mai was a demoness. A short-tempered demoness, the colour of a fallen porcelain angel, the kind tainted by heaven's beauty and damned on the inside with every devilish attribute one could master. Oh, and Mai had great big ruby eyes too. The better to see you with.Mai smirked a delicious smirk, as the cat yawned, and in motion of the cat stretching her back, the demoness did so too, cracking whatever little brackets weren't in their rightful place. She was quite fond of cracking them out of place on others too. She was 'soooooo' HUNGRY! Perhaps one of these two would assist her in de-furring the cat and finding a home for her ... in Mai's stomach.Mai put on her welcoming(ly sardonic) face and sauntered over to the the feline with a cynical look on her face. Lowering herself, Mai raked her nails over the cat's back at an alarmingly slow rate, enough to rupture the flesh, and slip a disk or two. "Good evening Sungai." She greeted soothingly, before glancing at the lycaness. Mai was certain she had taken in a similar scent at some other point, however her attention now rested in curling her fingers around the scruff of the cat and twisting it around to face her - at a far enough distance so it could not scratch her at all. "What's new pussycat?" She drawled sarcastically, before tossing the animal a fair distance - in the direction of the exit of the forest - and tilting her head at a curious angle. "It cannot possibly land on it's feet." She hissed, narrowing her eyes. "It doesn't have any." {ooc}: Sungai, I hope you don't mind me joining. If you do, just say so and I'm gone. Oh, and cat, forgive my sarcastic parallels in italics with your paragraph. I simply found it impossible to resist.
