Aylen’s green eyes widened as the vines came at him. He struggled to get away, but the redhead’s leg refused to obey his commands. “Inci—!” he began, but it was too late. The black ropes entwined themselves around the boy, their bladed leaves biting mercilessly into his flesh. The force of the binding threw him off balance, sending him crashing heavily to the unforgiving ground. His wand flew out of his grasp, landing several feet away, just out of reach. The vines cut deeper as Aylen fought to get free. He felt the hot blood flowing freely down his skin, pooling under him.
His vision blurred. He was losing too much blood. The redhead spent what energy he had left trying to focus and trying to keep from passing out. It took several seconds for Aylen to realize Ark had said anything. He didn’t have time to ponder it, however. White hot pain suddenly enveloped the Gryffindor’s body and pierced it through and through. The other wounds seemed to be mere paper cuts compared to this. His scream echoed throughout the forest, anguished enough to wake the dead. It seemed to linger as the torture slowly faded, leaving the helpless boy gasping for air.
It barely registered as the vines burned, his overworked nerve cells not feeling the heat. Helping hands weakened the vines and pulled them away. “Are you alright?” The voice seemed so far away... He hadn’t the strength to answer. It was hard enough trying to draw breath. Slowly, he let himself fall into the bliss of nothingness.

((OOC: Just for the sake of time, mind if I speed Ark's wakening a bit?))
Ark limp body hung from the tree. He stirred a bit, then opened his eyes. He couldn't remember what happened, his head was swimming, he suddenly vomited. "Ughhh..." he groaned. "W-Where am I?" he asked, panic settling over him. "Who are you!? Who am I!? WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER!?" he shouted in hysteria. "Let me go! I didn't do anything! Please! I'm begging you!!!"
(OOC: BTW: Ark has amesia (or however you spell it)

Rezna pulled herself off of Aylen at the exact time that Ondrea came to their aid. The boy's screams filled her ears and numbed her to any other goings on in the forest. In the back of her mind, she felt blood trickling down her arms and chest as the vines that were around Aylen's body pierced her own skin on their fall.
She watched as if in a dream as Ondrea burned them off of Aylen. Rezna was grateful that at least one person had enough since to do something useful. As the plant was finally pulled off of him, Rezna allowed herself to look away from the bloody mass that was Aylen and up to where his attacker had once stood.
The Hufflepuff did not hear Ondrea cast her spell and the sight of Ark bound against the tree was a surprise to say the least. Looking around, Rezna wondered who had bound him and whether anyone had come hearing Aylen's cries. She saw or heard no one as pained silence spread across the group.
"Who are you!? Who am I!? WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER!Let me go! I didn't do anything! Please! I'm begging you!!!"
Rezna's gaze rested on the terrified face of what used to be a malignant being. Getting up, she cast him a look of what seemed to be confusion, anger, and disbelief all in one. She was half positive that this was all an act to get them to free him and allow him the use of his wand and many more unforgivable curses. That she wasn't going to let him do.
"Ondrea, we need to get Aylen to the hospital wing, immediately. Maybe you and your friend could help him get there. Make sure that Aylen gets treated, please," Rezna told them as she almost lay a comforting hand on Aylen's shoulder. Reconsidering as she saw the wounds she instead squeezed Ondrea's shoulder gently. "Thank you for everything. I'm glad you stayed. We needed you," she told her friend with a warm smile.
Than as she stood up and, wand in hand, she walked over to the tree where Ark was wrapped.
"You honestly think that I will believe that a knock on the head has made you forget everything?" she asked in a cool voice. She did not trust the boy who wanted her friend dead. Rezna would not trust him. Still, his acting had been quite convincing. "Do I look like an idiot, a fool?" she asked, her wand pointed at him in a less friendly manner.
The girl's green eyes scanned his face for any sight of a lie, an angry gleam in his dark eyes, a twitch of a muscle, anything that would give her reason to regard his loss of memory for a simple lie. Should he have forgotten, then perhaps their dangerous evening had ended on a high note after all. What better way to turn someone back to the side of good than to make them forget what it's like to be evil.
'Maybe Aylen can have his friend back once this is over,' she thought as she interrigated Ark with her eyes. 'Maybe he really has forgotten.' Rezna could not hide the hope that had crept into her eyes.

Ondrea could see that Aylen did not have enough energy to speak, who would, after what that lunatic Ark had done? However, the sight of the blood that seemed to be pouring from Aylens wounds did not sicken her, but made her worry, was he going to bleed to death? He was going to if they didn't stop the bleeding soon, and get him to the hospital, Not another visit... Ondrea thought silently to herself, thinking for a spell to conjure bandages Come on you should know this by now... but it just wouldn't come, maybe her worry was getting in the way.
After Rezna spoke to her, Ondrea couldn't help but smile, a small smile, but it was one, because she knew that they weren't mad at her for staying, "Thanks." she said, looking at Rezna, "I think we should get him bandaged up first... Try to stop the bleeding, or at least slow it down..." she trailed off, stopping herself from saying, 'otherwise I'm scared he won't make it', she knew that would just worry everyone.
Turning to Ark who was still pinned to the tree, she was considering to hit him with the stupefy curse again, just in case he regained his memory, but then decided that stopping Aylens bleeding was more important, and she saw that Rezna was pointing her wand accusingly at Ark. Who could blame her after what he had just done? "Yeah, do you think we would really let you go after what you just did, if you do, then I think you are more crazy then I assumed you to be."
"Think." she muttered under her breath, a long with a few random swear words, she was getting so frustrated with herself and finally it came to her.
"Ferula..." she said, as she remembered the spell, a simple spark appeared from the end of her wand, but that was only because Ondrea had not actually attempted to cast the spell. Clutching her wand tightly, she spoke her mastered spell, since she had to use it so frequently, "Ferula!"
With those words said, bandages appeared almost instantly, and Ondrea began to wrap up his wounds as gently and quickly as possible, hoping that Star would help her, (Rezna didn't have to, since she was guarding Ark)it would make things a lot easier, "Here, we can bandage him up." she said, as she wrapped up the largest wound of his, her ears still listening to any sounds of someone near by, but the only thing she could hear was the racing sound of her heart-beat, and the frantic breathing of her and her friends, however the sound was rather a reassuring sound.
"Rezna, you can't stay alone here, you must come with us." she said, now standing beside Rezna, she whispered so only Rezna could hear, "Should we stupefy him again just to be safe?" she asked, "I am not too sure if he is faking his sudden loss of memory, but if he is, lets hope it is a good thing."

Rezna was happy to see that Ondrea had fixed Aylen's wounds as best as she could. The Hufflepuff knew no such spells and was grateful that the other did. All that Rezna wanted at that point was to help Aylen as quickly as they could, but there was Ark to deal with as well.
As Ondrea came up to her, Rezna understood the grim reality behind the other's words.
"I know, Ondrea," Rezna told her just as quietly, "but if he is faking, than leaving him here without thought of who he was or who others are is like placing him in a lions den. If we don't help him, than I doubt Danawi's followers will be as kind."
She turned to look at the boy who was limply hanging from a tree, a pitiful sight. "We can't leave him here to die," she reiterated to Ondrea in a whisper, "Aylen would not want that. Besides, if he is faking, than he can tell any of the demons what actually happened here. I don't want a pack of those monsters after us. We have to take him with us. There is no other way," Rezna said grimly.
The blonde Hufflepuff wondered if what she suggested would come back to haunt her. After all, if he was still evil and only faking, than taking him with them was a very unwise idea. Still, she couldn't live with herself if she left him there.
"Ondrea, if he's turned than we can maybe make him good again. I mean, take him to the good side, and leave his past here, in the forest."
Rezna said the last in a tone that half suggested a plea and also showed her urge to hurry, knowing that Aylen would not survive long. Pointing her wand at Ark, she muttered "Locomotor mortis," locking his feet so he couldn't walk. Looking at Ondrea, she waited for some reply before either leaving him there or taking him with, after all, there was no time to argue one way or another.

Ondrea knew immediately that it was only right to bring Ark with them, and she thought of a plan, "I know, it just wouldn't be right."
Ondrea spoke to both Rezna and Star in a quiet voice, "If we stupefy Ark again, then Star knows a spell that makes unconscious people float. You can both bring him to safety, by foot." Ondrea paused to catch her breath, speaking hurriedly because the state that Aylen was in, "I can fly Aylen out of here, and to the hospital wing, it would avoid meeting anymore people, and it would take me just as long to walk there, or longer if I was walking." Ondrea said, her black, tattered wings suddenly appearing, she did not like showing them, she wasn't even sure if Star had seen her in her faerie form before this, or told her for that matter that she was a faerie, "However, if you prefer, you Rezna, and myself can carry Aylen, while you Star, take care of Ark, with that spell."
Ondrea then walked back over to Aylen, carefully picking him up, she seemed much stronger then usual, probably because of adrenalin, "So which one is it?" she asked, wanting to get out of here as soon as possible.

Rezna turned to look at Ark before responding. She wanted to see a glimpse of anger, hate in his face. Seeing none, she took it as reassurance for what she was going to say.
"I'd rather not knock him out," Rezna told Ondrea quietly, "I want to see if he's dangerous, and his speech will prove as much. I'll bring him with your friend, Star I think her name is, while you can take Aylen. I hope he's not too heavy. And if you could be so kind as to take the rope off Ark, seeing as he won't be walking away any time soon?" Rezna asked with a small smile. "Oh, and Ondrea, be careful on your way. I'd hate to see anything happen to the both of you." Nodding to her friend she turned to face their hostage.
"First off, be quiet. We are not out to hurt you, quite the opposite. I've locked your legs so that you can't walk away in the wrong direction, and don't worry that spell is not permanent. By the way, no matter if you remember or not, I want you to know you can trust me more than I trust you. I would also suggest that you don't run or struggle, for if we wanted to hurt you we'd have done so already. Now we're trying to help you your old friend, and to do that we need to get out of the forest."
Hoping that had calmed him down, or let him believe that she fell for his trick, Rezna moved away from Ark so that Ondrea could undo her spell and they could get out of the dark gloom of the Forbidden Forest.

ooc- Yipes! Sorry that I havn't posted much... I have been babysitting all weekend and was only able to get on the computer for a few minutes at a time Sorry if this isn't a overly good post but I am going to try to catch up as best I can.
BIC- Starlit looked around as everyone decided to stay. Her mind was made up, no way was she going to leave now. Standing and watching the duel in silence she opened her mouth as a boulder went flying through the air. As she was about to leap downward she felt herself being pulled down anyhow.
A spell was shouted, though she did not hear which one but whatever it was it caused the boulder to explode. Ducking and covering her neck with her arms as shards of rock were sent flying she raised her head from the grass. Ondrea had made a human shield of herself and she saw a larger shard of the grey slate fly past her head. A small piece buried itself in her arm, piercing through her shirt but leaving only a small mark where it had been, nothing but a scratch.
Placing a hand on her friends shoulder she spoke, "Ondrea there is no need to defend me, I am fine on my own besides, coming here was my own choice," and lowered her arm back down, stepping up a few feet closer to the fight. It reminded her of the fist fights in her old muggle schools hallway, only this was far more dangerous.
Then she heard it, the words I'm sorry but die! Black vines lased out, which was not half as shocking as what happened next. Ark cast an Unforgivable Curse at his opponent. s***! Rezna knocked the victim of the spell down, but it seemed to have been to late to dodge the horrible magic.
Screams filled the air, and she jumped forward in horror, the sound piercing her ears. Head ringing she turned to Ark, soon the sound ceased and the Gryffindor passed out. Turning to the follower of Danawi and opening her mouth to speak she cringed as she heard the gagging noise and vomit spilling onto the ground.
What does he mean where is he and who are we! He just tried to kill us, but I cannot see whether or not he really has forgotten, or if he is just a extraordinarily good actor.
Giving him the benefit of the doubt she looked on a gleam of pity in the back of her eye. What would it be like I wonder to lose your memory, she thought. Snapping back into the reality of the setting as Ondrea asked her to help with bandages. "Right," she said and pulled out her wand, "Ferula!" Bandages appeared and she as well began to help in binding the injuries as best she could.
"Sounds like a good plan to me," she said as it was suggested. Rezna and I will meet you guys at the Hospital Wing," she said. Her last visit had only been a short while ago, actually she had, had to visit the Wing all too often for her liking.
"Before we go, since we are traveling on foot we had better make sure we are not seen on the way there, more trouble at this point would not be... well the quicker we get to the wing the better." From her pocket she pulled three pieces of ribbon a a light green, a dark green and a brown.
The blonde walked over to Rezna, handed her the light colored green ribbon and tapped her firmly on the head with her wand, "Occaeco," then she walked over to the passed out Ark and tied the brown ribbon around his wrist before making him invisible as well. Knotting the dark green ribbon around her neck she then cast the spell on herself as well, using the complicated spell so many times in a row had drained her energy. "Rezna tie that ribbon to you so we don't loose each other in the forest. "Her voice seemed to be coming from the floating strip of color where Starlits neck was.
Raising her wand which was still visible as well she said the spell, feeling far less of a drain from the enchantment she had used far more often. "Mobilicorpus!"
ooc- Mobilicorpus lifts passed out humans, also I apologize if I missed something.

Ark's eyes darted franticly from face to face. He tried to shout, but he couldn't. So he started to cry. He didn't know why, but it seemed that everyone hated him and he couldn't, for the life of him, understand why.

Rezna looked at Ark as tears streamed from his eyes. Now no matter what her mind forced upon her, no boy would cry unless he really meant it. The sincere fear that flashed on the boys face made the coldness behind her green eyes disappear.
"You're safe," she whispered to him as she slipped the light green ribbon over her wrist. "We're going to help you." Perhaps he heard no more as the spell sent him into the dark world of unconsciousness.
"Diffindo," she whispered cutting the ropes that bound the boy to the tree allowing his body to float into the air with the aid of Star's Mobilicorpus spell.
"Let's go then," Rezna told the place where she thought Star was before heading down the trail that brought them so long ago from the castle. "If you need me to perform the spell, I'll do it. You seem quite worn out," she told Star as they walked. "And I'm Rezna, from Hufflepuff," she added for formalities sake, seeing as they already knew one another's names.

Just as Ondrea looked over to Star, thinking that she must be in shock, and was worried for all of their sake, that they would not be able to get out of here quick, but to her relief she spoke.
Ondrea nodded at Rezna, "Yeah, I think that is a better idea, as long as all of you can manage." she said, "And I will be careful, especially when I am responsible for someones life... I am not going to make the same mistake again." Ondrea said this, glancing at the boy who was bound to the tree, and she was about to undo her charm, but was soon distracted by Star, who was handing out ribbons.
Her eyes falling upon Ark again, he was crying! Ondreas heart sank, she felt sad for him, anyway, who in their right mind would join such an evil group? That was it, no one in the right of mind, and it wasn't their fault they didn't think straight, seriously. Ondrea almost wanted to go and give the boy a hug, but she couldn't waste any time. So as a substitute, she offered him a quick, but friendly smile, maybe the most friendly smiles she had ever given someone in quite some time.
Turning back to Rezna, she saw her unbind Ark, "Oops." Ondrea said, "OK, I will meet you there, be safe."
With that Ondrea stretched out her wings, and looked up to see where she should launch up into the sky. She felt blood all over her hands, some her own, but most of it being Aylens, it was something that motivated her to be as strong, and quick as possible. Lucky for her, her pain had not kicked in yet, but she knew it was awaiting her when she wasn't in such a hurry.
Taking a deep breath, she pushed off the ground, Aylen still in her arms. Once flying in the air, she felt the wind in her hair, and brushing against her face, but this was not time to enjoy flying, it was literally a life or death issue, so she flew as fast as possible in the direction of the hospital wing, the forest growing more distant by every second, eventually fading from view.
ooc: shall I start the hospital wing thread, since by flying Ondrea is supposed to go there faster... I don't mind if someone else wants to do it, but just thought it makes sence.

ooc- Thats fine with me.
BIC- Realizing that the vines had not yet been cut Starlit felt a little bit embarrassed at the obvious mistake. Come on I have got to get my head straight, she quickly noted to herself.
Feeling a sudden pang of guilt when Ark began to cry she felt melancholy sadness add on to worry, fear and relief that nobody was dead. Heading to the forest edge she took a deep breath. Spotting the ribbon that marked out Reznas posistion she walked toward it.
Hearing the voice introduce themselves she sighed, "I'm Starlit Night, of Ravenclaw house," she introduced herself politely, but quickly as she wanted to get the long walk to the Hospital Wing over with.
Seeing Ondrea fly off with Aylen she decided it was time to go. Not shocked at her being a faerie as she had seen the wings one or twice. "This way I think," as Star was invisible at the moment she used her wand to point the direction she was pretty sure would take them out of the forest. "We can't get lost though." Spotting the tree she had cut the vines off of she headed over to that. "I came from this direction," now she pointed west. "Let's go then."
Walking through the trees, and carefully guiding the magic that around trees and over logs so that it didn't crash she squinted, her eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness, using what light shone through the cracks in the trees. Overhead, the tops of trees seemed to meld together, making one big canopy.

And so they walked. First, it was difficult to get used to the fact that the other members of her so called, rescue party, were invisible. Still, Rezna decided it was better that way than not and continued walking, sometimes she was sure she'd crash into Star, or the floating Ark, but neither occurred.
Soon the forest ahead began to clear and the glimmer from the surface of the lake broke the monotonous darkness of the forest on their right. The Hufflepuff wanted to run, as soon as the sky became visible and the trees grew more scarce. They had to get to the hospital wing.
Of course, the worst fear that Rezna carried was for Aylen and Ondrea. Had they gotten there safely? And if so, was he going to be all right?
'Soon, you'll know soon,' she comforted herself as they left the foreboding forest behind them. 'You better hope that you did the right thing in suggesting to bring that boy along,' she told herself coldly. If Rezna was mistaken and he managed to cause Aylen, or anyone else for that matter, more harm, she'd never forgive herself.
Taking deep breaths, she tried to calm her nerves as well as to stop herself from sprinting across the grounds to the castle. As soon as the main entrance was visible Rezna yanked the green ribbon off her arm so that she would not be invisible inside the school.
