The Forest was stiller than it had ever been.
The reason for this lay in the Forest centre. A huge, crumbling temple lay hidden amongst an entrapment of knurled, blackened trees. All around, creatures of the Forest were scarce - they had fled months before, when a cloaked figure with evil plans had made that place his home, spreading evil and corruption to the Forest's very core.
This figure was now stood outside, in the cool night air, as his followers assembled around him. This place would no longer be his home - by the end of this battle, the throne that awaited him was the one that currently seated a Miss Claire Maclay, Headmistress of Magic Horizons School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The school would be his, and he would watch over them all as the world descended into chaos and evil - despite the refusal of some of the beasts to join his cause, he would allow them free roam of the school and its grounds, feeding on those who refused to serve him.
With a sigh of deep, unmasked contentment, Danawi turned to face his followers, his scarred face twisted into a confident smile. "Let the battle begin," he said quietly.
The gleam of crimson triumph was already in his eyes.

A shady half demon the had been hidden in the shadows, slowly walked out into the open. "What are my orders for the upcoming battle Daniwa and what will be my pay, a position on the throne perhaps." His sword then appeared in his hand. "As I said I'm a fighter for hire and I expect you know by now we never do anything for free." The Demon the smirked alittle "My fee's are usualy enough the pull a small country into poverty, but for you I will make an exception for a possition of power in your new dynesty.
He then increased the power of his sword a little and waited in quietly slowly powering his sword. As more power ran through the blade it took on a more and more solid form, with an increasingly darker color. Still though the sword always kept its shade of blue. It would take a few minuets to get the sword at full power with out the adrenaline rush of a battle around him, powering it up now though was the much wiser choice.

Evie was feet away from the temple, making dust of the stones she found around the ground with her telekenesis. She was a little dissapointed that all the little squirrels and birds had left the area....they were more fun to break.
Possition of power in your new dynesty. So....Telah was in it for a throne. I guess everyone has a price. Evie herself was just in this battle because her parents never believed she was quite evil enough to be in their family. Now that she had the power to show them they were wrong, and attack this stupid school. She would rather serve someone like Danawi or perhaps Telah or Issac, then be lycan food with the rest of the powerless humans, anyway.
Evie glanced at her master and Telah standing together, and realized the call had begun. It was finnaly time. Instantly adrenaline was blasted into her viens, her muscles tensing slightly. One by one she cracked her knuckles, promising herself no matter what happens, she will live for Aka. She just prayed that he lived for her. She also promised herself she wouldn't let her feelings get in the way of her job. Protect Danawi at all costs.

Isaac exited the temple, a small, almost contemplative smirk was on his face. The interior of the temple had been.... different to say the least. It seemed to magnify his senses, to the point of where they were almost excruiatingly acute.
Emerging into natural light, Isaac did not even pause to wait like puppies at Danawi's side, he calmly continued past Danawi and beyond, past the edges of the clearing. He knew what was required of him. He knew what he was to do.
He had waited long enough. No longer.

Although the abrupt departure had been in deep contempt, the arrival to the temporary home she had come to know was indeed a sight for sore, red eyes. Anyone watching the woman would have thought her to sink into the dirt, for her black booted feet held heels that were half an inch thick, but there was a way that she held herself which stopped the 'sinking feeling'.
Curvacious legs and hips wrapped in tight variations of black and red latex was enough to make any male being glance, but this 'strong statement' of an outfit - which others had called it - was the clothing that had cloaked her body for many, many years. So they were nothing new to her, especially the apalled glances that followed. From her curved waist to her upper arms, again clothed in the body plastic, was a deep mahogany colour, almost toning beautifully with her short, unfastidious brown hair, crowned with a black leather chauffer hat she had long taken from a person she had disposed of.
Random scattered branches and leaves across the ground crunched under her piercing boots, announcing her arrival to Danawi and his followers as the woman had strode into the opening. Her head tilted and paused with a malicious smile graciously crossing her painted lips, she knew Danawi would have recognised her in any form, so there was no real need to reveal anything.
Spinning on one heel, one foot after the other, the once trapped Demoness strode pacingly beside Isaac, with many metres between the two. Lothani's shoes closely followed behind the other Demon, who soon approached the Entrance Hall. The battle.

Danawi watched as his followers strode off towards the school - the power emanating from the collective group was astounding. If they did not win this war, he would be mightily surprised.
He turned away, and retreated into the shadows of the large temple he had been calling home for the last several months. It was enchanted and laden with traps that he had his clan had set up in preparation for when the opposition took notice of the fact that they were being ripped apart. It wouldn't take a genius to work out where Danawi was - but getting to him would be a much more difficult feat.
His cloak flowing behind him, he wound his way through some tight corridors until he entered a large dusty chamber that was full of old urns. He had not yet looked inside them, and did not much care to. He knew too much about these old satanic temples to risk jeopardising the battle with a misplaced curse - now was not the time for curiosity. It was a time for action. He headed to the back of the room, where a scruffily drawn picture of a hanged man was on the wall. He brushed one scarred finger across the painted man's forehead, and a rumbling came from the corner of the room as one of the urns moved aside, scraping across the dusty stone floor, to reveal a small passageway.
With a distant, dreamy smile on his face, Danawi crossed the room and stooped to enter the secret passageway, avoiding as much as he could the steely spikes that poked into him from every angle of the hidden corridor. He eventually came into the room he had protected with every kind of magic he had available to him at such short notice - in the centre of the room was a carved stone chair, with the faces of anguished demons looking up reverently at him as he took his seat upon it.
And waited.

Evie watched her master depart into the temple. The blood in her veins was on fire. She had waited a long time for this battle, and now at last it was here. The power Danawi had given her paired with her newly aquired animagus status, she was prepared to do some damage. Those who were paying attention may have noticed Evie shift into her animagus form, a beautiful sleek black panther. Her long dark hair shortened, and spread all over her body. Her limbs twisted and bent, bringing Evie down onto all fours. Her ears grew, her nose and mouth longated. Her originally dark eyes took on a goldish hue. Her clothes melted off and a long, powerful tail grew. Evie crouched, swishing her tail. It was a beautiful feeling, being excited for the hunt. Granted, some of her powers were a bit harder to use, such as balls of hate and vines, but she had claws now....and fangs. And bloodlust. The black leopard began to pace the entrance to the temple. Her ears were alert, her nose constantly sniffing for the scent of enemy. ooc: Sorry for crappy post, I've been partying all weekend and can't really think right now.

ooc: muhahaha
ic: Evie suddenly caught a strange scent on the breeze. It was that Will boy from the graveyard. What was he doing in the forest...he should know better. She stealthily climbed a nearby tree, jumped into the one he was standing under, and watched him. She purred, and lightly twitched her tail. Silly human hiding behind a tree near Danawi and his followers. Such stupidity perhaps deserves to be punished?
She leaped down out of the thick foliage of the tree to land behind the boy. She hissed, baring her long white fangs. She slashed her paw in the air, her claws ripping the clothes close to his body, but not his skin.

Adia nodded to her Lord, and strode off with half of the followers towards the stone castle that loomed before them. A strange tingling dancing down her spine, Adia smiled faintly to herself - she knew that this battle held everything for her. Her future was to be made this night, and she foresaw a dark and triumphant one, for all who stood beside her now.
She remained with them only moments, making their entrance, before slipping off to the Slytherin Common Room - if the school was to be taken in earnest, she would need to start fires elsewhere.

Ark watched coldly as Danawi descended into the Temple. "I'll deal with you later Danawi." he muttered silently. Noticing the commotion, Ark stepped in Will's path. "Your not escaping that easily." he said with a smirk. Time to test the powers he thought, before lashing out with the vines, pinning the boy to a tree. "Now, what should we do with him?" he asked, turning to the assorted Followers.

ooc: Cat Thingy!?!
Evie shook her rattled head and hissed again at the boy, her fury rising. She nodded a thanks to Ark, noticing he stopped the stupid Will boy from getting away. She sent a telepathic message to Ark. "Perhaps we should teach him not to come into the forest anymore. Let's hang him from the tree I found him under, as a warning to all other students. I wouldn't mind a new scratching post." The panther seemed to smile. She looked at the other followers scattered around the temple to see if any others had an interesting idea to punnish the foolish boy.

Billie watched curiously from one of the higher branches of the tree and looked curiously over at Ark. She could not hear him, but she could read his lips easily enough. A lucky little technique she had pulled off recently.
"I'll deal with you later Danawi."
Billie's eyes widened as read what Ark was muttering, and watched as he stepped into the unfortunate but foolish boy's path, helping Evie with the struggling nit. Launching herself out of the tree, she landed nimbly on the ground and smiled over at both Ark and Evie, though it wasn't a smile meant to warm the hearts.
Evie seemed to want a good form of punishment for the boy and Billie had a suggestion to offer. "You know Evie," she said with a bow of respect, "The ancient civilizations had a wonderful saying, "Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. Considering this boy heard us, we could cut off his ears. He also saw us, and we could take his eyes. Then again," she said, pulling a knife from her boot, "He also tried to run, and he hit you on the head. He doesn't really need his hands or legs, does he?" she said with a wicked grin.
Her heart was kicking her for suggesting the idea, but she had to project the image, that is, until she could speak with Ark.

Thats an interesting idea, Billie. Evie sent telepathicaly. How about we make an example of him? Perhaps only remove his fingers, eyes, ears, and tongue? Let him dangle here for a bit, a little present for the oncoming Cabal, perhaps? I would love to carve a message in his chest. Evie began to sharpen her claws on the tree Will was being held against. She scratched dangerously close to his head, right above his left ear, growling low in her throat. She then returned to her natural, human form; brandishing her razor nails. She ran them slowly down Will's cheek. She suddenly reached back and punched Will's jaw with all her might, jerking his head to the side. "Thats for knocking me on the head."
