Ooc: I really have no idea how the whole lycan first change thing works… I’m just going to make it up and hope I make some amount of sense. ^^.
The sun was going down ever so slowly, the wait was a torment. Although a new sense was nagging at her, telling her the moon was rising. Sapphire eyes scanned the dark area ahead; she had once again met with the forest. Now, a question rose in her mind, did she really have anything to fear anymore? She could fend for herself, once the transformation would finish. But before that… The soon-to-be lycaness frowned; a creature of the forest could easily rid her of life.
But where else could she go…? She was not welcome with the Tunnel Lycans yet; the forest was the only place she knew of to go to. So that was where she was headed. She delicately moved through the branches, leaves, and the rest of the nature of the forest. Faylinn would never harm nature, for she always had learned to respect nature as if it were royalty; better then royalty.
By now she had traveled deep into the forest, by luck not having met with any inhabitant of the Forbidden Forest yet. When she felt she was deep enough into the woods – away from any possible human being, she sat.
She shook with nerves; Faith said it would hurt… And what would she become? She was very excited to be a lycan… But the thoughts of what she would act like troubled her with a great extent. Nervously she peered around the forest, from what she could see… It was becoming darker; she could see only a little ways around her.
She let out a deep, calming breath, and sat in a meditating position; this was how she knew to calm herself. Easily she breathed with each gust of the wind, thus being coming in sync. She took in the calming feel of nature, closing her eyes.
One eye peered open as she saw the light of the moon. She twitched slightly, before staring briefly at her nails, she watched as they became longer, and thicker. Her mouth hung open as she noticed how much they resembled wolf claws. She fumbled to a bag she had brought with her, quickly grasping a mirror. She watched as canine fangs formed in her mouth. She felt no pain yet, only a great deal of shock.
A rush of pain flew through her body; it felt like pins were trying to push up out of her skin. An agonizing scream broke the eerie silence. The pain overwhelmed her, she thought the bite had been bad – she had not prepared herself for this. “Oh my…” She spoke out, before realizing what the pin feeling was. She watched as clumps of hairs broke through the barrier that was her skin. After a moment of severe stinging, she looked in the mirror, she gaped at the image – the reflection was anything but her. She looked like a werewolf!
Soon her face hurt a great deal, her nose felt like it was going to pop off, she screamed yet again… Why was it so painful? Faylinn noticed her nose grow, and a black dot poked out… She realized this was her snout. Large ears poked out of the side of her head. That was all she could see; for the mirror she was holding fell to the ground… She could no longer hold it! Looking down, she noticed her hands and feet were now unmistakably paws.
Now, the most unbearable pain hit her, it was beyond belief. She felt like a cloth someone was wringing out. Another agonized scream rippled through the air, drifting among the many trees. Every creature in the forest now was probably aware of her location.
The bones in Faylinn’s body felt like they were breaking, twisting, taking on a new shape, and rearranging themselves. She didn’t cry though, she would not allow herself to.
After the pain had subsided for short moments, it started up again, this time she felt her body morphing into the shape of a wolf’s. Finally… Her physical form was finished. She now looked like every other lycan. Her coat of fur was a light, light brown, and her eyes remained like sapphires.
She looked around, but her eyes stung, driving her to madness as she shook her head wildly, trying to rid herself of the pain. She blinked a few times, then slowly opened her eyes. She stared out of them, now having an excellent sight… She could see much farther into the trees then when she first entered, it was astounding.
A loud ringing sounded into the lycaness’ ears, she howled, for now it was the only pain-driven sound she could make. She adjusted to the ringing, now hearing every crack of twigs near by. She sniffed a sigh of relief, for she no longer felt pain. The only pain felt was hunger… Lust… Blood… Just the thought made her senses fly, a low growl sounded deep in her throat. Faylinn looked down into the mirror, she was a lycan.
She plopped on the forest floor and looked around… Wondering what to do now… Maybe something would come that she could eat… Like a poor, defenseless human.
