Sungai was angry, to say the least. He paced in his room in the Lair, trying to release his frustration by walking and ranting and breaking the occasional belonging. After having broken several trival objects and coming close to smashing one of considerable sentimental value, Sungai decided to recognise what this mood truly was. He needed to hunt.
He tossed on his navy cloak and strode out of the Caves, intending to make his dinner worthwhile and the hunt fierce and challenging. He worked his way through the forest and reached the outskirts of Hogsmeade. The sun was well and truly set and Sungai knew that this would make his task slightly more challenging as most would have already retired for the night. He prowled the streets, lit weakly by the lantern light and the pale moonlight, hiding behind masses of cloud, pausing every now and again to sniff the air. There was no tantalising scent on the breeze this night - no sumptuous meal was planning to waltz up to him in the street. This didn't bother Sungai, as his mind had already switched into hunting mode. He stopped outside a window bathed in candlelight, knowing somehow this was the house he needed, he wanted. He confirmed this instinctive thought by glancing into the window and observing a young woman preparing a meal or something of the sort. Sungai's eyes gleamed in the weak light, the golden glint a strange contrast to the muggy darkness outside.
He formulated a plan quickly in his mind and prepared to execute it.

Sungai stole back into the Forest, still savouring the sweet crimson on his lips and tongue. The hunt had indeed been satisfying - the girl had been more fiesty than he had bargained on, but he overpowered her in the end. He always did. He promised himself next time he would try for something a little different, perhaps a man. He ran a hand through his hair, smoothing it a little and he realised that he still had a trickle of blood on his finger. He licked it off and then ran his tongue over his fangs, savouring the last drops of his meal.
He dug into his pocket and extracted a cigarette plus his silver lighter and lit it, inhaling the calming fumes deeply. He slowly trudged through the Forest, the craving satisfied for the moment and in no hurry to be anywhere for the time being.

Of course, the nymph had been sleeping. At this hour of the night, she wasn't in much of the mood to do anything- let alone actually get up and enforce the rules that students simply weren't allowed in the forest. It was mostly for the sake of her sanity; how would she get any rest if mindless students decided to practice their spells in this peaceful forest?
She heard the noises of someone approching long before she saw the small flame formed by the cigarette. Cringing, she wondered who would be dumb enought to wander into the forest, and then accidently use a cigarette to guide her right to them. It wasn't very smart.
Yawning, she stretched by arching her back like a cat. The moon wasn't quite full yet, leaving most of the forest bathed in darkness. But this was the way she liked it- dark, and all alone. Peaceful. Beautiful, in an odd way. Smiling slyly, she slid down the tree and landed crouched down, her brown eyes glittering a little in the small amount of moonlight.
Almost playfully, she stood up and moved until she was literally inches away from his back. She then reached out, running one long finger down the back of his neck. Something inside her mind told her this was no mere student, but she ignored that minor detail. If it wasn't a student, then she just wouldn't totally scare the heck out of him. Not like she was all that scary to begin with.
"What are you doing here?" She purred, removing her finger from his neck but not bothering to step in front of him so that she might be seen.

Sungai felt the soft fingers of his neck and shifted away instinctively, concluding quickly that this person or creature of the forest wasn't interested especially interested in attacking him - otherwise they would have done it by now. He took two steps away from the direction he felt his assailant was coming from then took a deep drag of his cigarette.
"Returning to my current place of residence," Sungai spoke into the darkness, his cigarette now lying limply by his side - there was no further interest in smoking the rest of it, Sungai's attention had shifted itself from his addiction to his stalker in the dark. He shook his head, the white hair ruffling itself into some sort of chaotic order and his golden eyes flicking lazily around the clearing, trying to source the almost affectionate gesture.
"May I ask you the same question?" Sungai enquired, his boots shifting the leaves underfoot as he became bored of waiting for his assailant to show themselves. Honestly he could be back to the Caves by now, but perhaps the distraction would prove itself timely.

She could almost sense his impatience, something that wasn't all that common to her. Most people- humans, that is, were commonly scared just from her merely touching them. Hence, she was led to conclude that he must be a demon or some sort, perhaps a lycan or a vampire. Though it really wasn't any of her buisness. If he didn't want to bother her and just stand here and smoke, why not let him?
"I live here." She replied, edging around to stand in front of him almost cautiously. Not knowing quite what she was dealing with almost scared her, as ironic as that might be.
"So I suppose I have the right to be here. Don't quite know if you do, but I'm not going to be the one who's picky about it." She murmered, pushing a lock of straight, black hair away from her eyes and taking the time to glance around the rest of the forest. Deserted, just like she expected it to be at this time of night.

Sungai filed the voice away in his mind, admiring on the quiet its slight mystical quality. He knew that he wasn't dealing with the average Forest being, nor was it a Lycan or a Demon. Who and what was this person who insisted on examining him?
He stubbed his cigarette butt out on a nearby rock then slid it into a small pocket - knowing that the creatures of the forest wouldn't appreciate his litter. As calming as Sungai found his cigarettes, he had to admit that one of the less attractive things about this era of humanity was the amount of rubbish they left behind themselves, cigarette butts being one of the worst.
Sungai folded his legs and sat on the rock, lifting his boots into small crevices once more, feeling slightly more reassured by the fact that he wasn't going to be attacked by whatever this mysterious Forest dweller was. Sungai mulled over her point of him being allowed in the Forest and absent-mindedly looked at his nails.
"You live here?" He asked, obviously in his voice that his mind was elsewhere, even though all his senses were on high alert. "Then yes, I must concede that you do have some sort of right to be in here."

As he sat down, she lowered herself to the ground as well. Even though there was a nearby rock right next to him, she preffered the slightly damp ground. For some reason, the slight cold and damp of the forest floor helped her to feel more.... alert. Her skirt spread down on the ground around her in an elegant way, perhaps leading him to believe that she had more manners than the average bloodthirsty creature.
"Well, thank you. I'm pleased to know that you think I belong here." She teased, unconciously smoothing her skirt and letting her brown eyes dart all over the nearby foliage. Her whole form radiated confidence, but her eyes gave away that not knowing who she was talking to made her slightly nervous.
"Who are you?" She inquired, being rather blunt and straightforward. It wasn't every day that she met someone new, considering that she'd been in the Forest for a good year or so now.

Sungai watched the beautiful creature as she arranged herself on the ground and smoothed her skirts, admiring on the quiet the shapely form of her body. His golden eyes flickered over the nymph taking in as much as he could and then drew his eyes to meet hers as she asked him who he was. Sungai smiled, baring his fangs ever so slightly, proving to the nymph he was a Vampire and then shifted on his rock a little.
"Sungai," he introduced himself, brushing a lopck of his hair from his eyes. "Sungai Banjir." He watched the woman in front of him, knowing his name would have little effect on her. It seemed no-one around these parts had guessed or even considered the background of the Vampire in terms of his place of heritage. He was partly thankful for their ignorance at times, and other times he wished that his name wasn't quite so distinctive.
"May I ask the same question of you?" Sungai echoed his earlier words, and pulled a loose cord of his cloak out, wrapping the thin black cord around his finger, then unwrapping it and repeating the exercise several times.
