The Forest was unusually quiet on the wake of the early morning. The canopy gave way to a penetrating hue of gold, and basking in it's light, positioned with catlike agility on the long branch of an old oak, was Mai. Her body was touched by fine silk, but only that, for she often slept naked, free with nought but a delicate material over her slender-smooth frame. It wasn't strange as some may have thought, nor was it out of the normal, for she was a demoness, and had hardly a peeping tom to fear in the Forest so dangerous and large. One key point of her dwelling being, that she was one of those who made the Forest so dangerous, and yet there she was, untouched, save the silk-cream blanket that hugged her equally cream-coloured form, her milky tresses blending beautifully in the golden light seeping through the canopy. The songs of birds were nowhere to be heard this morning, and that was what woke the demoness from her much-adored slumber. Now she lay partially dozing, in the warmth of whatever sun could cascade over her graceful figure, lulling her eyelids into a feined security of dreamland. Oh, what bliss she was in. A small, almost shy smile crept into the corner of her lips, her rosy lips. Slowly, her arms left the safety of the silken blanket, and she stretched them out above her head. Then in one swift and effortless movement, the demoness twisted off the branch with the blanket held loosely around her and landed on the floor of the forest, a sleepy yawn breaking her sweet lips apart. Her eyes fluttered open after a few moments, and she blinked a couple of times, taking in her surroundings with a satisfactory nod. She was where she had rested her head the night before, which meant the world was still intact for another day. Dreamily, Mai played a tune through her lips, singing softly, for if the birds wouldn't sing, she would sing for them. Raking lengthy fingers through her long hair she tossed it over her shoulder, still holding the blanket against her form with her other hand. Kneeling, she plucked a small white flower off the Forest floor, but it was there that she froze. Do you see what I see... Standing there behind you... Do you hear what I hear... A taunting melody rushed through her mind and she let loose a quick gasp, dropping the flower and grabbing the front of the blanket with both hands to hold it tight. She dismissed all senses and instead let her mind wander to the most frightful threat she could think of, her brother. " No.." Mai whispered, afraid. "Who's there?" She called nervously, her scarlet eyes closed tight as she waited for the moment where she might gain the courage to look over her shoulder.

"Breathe easy, Mai, it is only me."
Isaac moved softly over the forest floor, as if floating upon a current of air that refused to let him touch the earth. However, he moved with a tiny limp, a mark of when he had broken free from the claws of the earth, only the other day, as it were.
He wore his usual black denim jeans, as well as a black button down shirt with a white t-shirt beneath. "Up until you heard me, you seemed so peaceful.." He said, almost remorsefully.

Mai almost choked on her own embarrassment. Digging her clawlike nails into the front of the blanket as she squeezed it she frowned to herself and her eyes opened, a deep ruby-red. She sighed heavily and let her knees buckle so she could sit with her legs out to one side on the ground. Feining a mask of confidence, the demoness raised her eyebrows and shook her head casually.
Her lips quivered for a moment as she pondered what to say, but she honestly couldn't come up with anything. What the hell could she say to that, it wasn't her place to be peaceful, and yet, it was. She simply dropped her chin and stared aimlessly at the ground, her creamy hair fell by either cheek and she looked miserable.
Her slim fingers twisted the stem of another white flower, before she lifted her nail and speared one of the petals, then tore the rest off and smothered their white powder between the smooth skin of her fingers. Suddenly she felt so vulnerable, and only moments before she'd felt so...So..."Fúck.." She muttered almost silently to herself, now pointlessly thinking about nothing in particular.

Her mask didnt work on him, after all, he was blind.
Isaac simply stood there, hands contemplatively dug into his pockets as he stood above her. As silence passed between them, he finally broke it with, "Anything you need to talk about?"

{ooc}: -pokes hard- Elaborate Mr, you know I hate posts of two sentences. o.O;; -grins-
{bic}: Mai looked at the powder over her fingers, her mind seemingly elsewhere. The sunrise delved into her back with a steady, warm glow, heating her insides to the brim, though at a comfortable temperature for once. No demoness enjoyed simmering, that was for visits to Hell only, or those days, once a month of PMS-based mood swings {-snorts- couldn't resist}.
The demoness let loose another whispy sigh and rubbed the powder off her fingers, letting it sprinkle over the ground. Wavering her hand through the heads of the other flowers nearby she tilted her head to one side and relaxed her features, giving up the mask. "No, I'm perfectly fine..." She told Isaac, before leaning over to grab one side of his jeans.
With unexpected strength she pulled, which would either lead to his pants coming right off, or her intention; him falling to sit beside her.

"Bullsh-" The word was on the tip of his tongue when Mai abruptly grabbed hold of his jeans and yanked him downwards, leading him to land unceremoniously on his butt.
"...I guess I'll sit down then." Isaac said with a faint grin, propping his forearms atop his knees as he sat next to Mai.

"Well, they're on well." Mai quipped, smirking widely as she held in a chuckle at Isaac's hardly elegant actions in seating himself. Her smirk faded smartly though, and was replaced by a soft frown, one that looked out of place on her delicate features. She longed to pull him close without any particular reason at all, in fact, anyone. The demoness simply yearned to feel someone's arms around her, but instead, she placidly touched Isaac's balanced arm and spoke quietly.
"Isaac...You're hurt." She confirmed, letting him know that his limp hadn't gone astray to her senses, nor had the diminutive difference of shifting weight as she pulled him down. It must have hurt. Her glowing puce gaze grew weak with sincerity, though he couldn't see it, he never would...
Somewhat sadly, though she tried not to show it in her voice when she spoke, Mai raised her hand from his arm to his chin, and like she had done time and time before, studied his blind but beautiful eyes with her own.

Isaac smiled faintly at her evident concern for him, "Naw, its nothing. Just a little sprain."
He leaned back slightly, propping himself up on his elbows as he stretched his stiff muscles. "Aint no biggie." He reiterated, doing his best to assuage her concern. He didnt need anybody worrying about him.

Mai turned away, narrowly missing his smile. His answer made her roll her eyes lazily, the males of any species really needed to give in to pain once in a while, and make it visible. Mai smirked, knowing the attention they would get it this happened, and then, she glanced at his 'sprain', grinding her teeth gently with a testy expression.
With one quick movement, Mai leapt towards Isaac and slammed both hands down hard on the sprained appendage, stupidly letting go of the front of the blanket covering her as she did so. Her unexpected action and somewhat cynical grin suddenly changed to a look of shock and she dove backwards, fumbling quickly to collect the front of the blanket.
She giggled inwardly, thinking of herself as oh so childish, it wasn't as though he could see her anyway.

Before Isaac could respond to Mai's abrupt flurry of movement, his senses dissolved into the blinding cloud of pain.
"ARRGH!" Isaac yelled through gritted teeth, holding his sprained limb tenderly.
"Was that really f***ing necessary?"

A small yawn graced the face of the nymph as she woke, still delicatly balancing herself on one of the branches of her favorite trees. Sleeping was one of her favorite activities- though there wasn't really much else to do. Watch the sun rise, watch the sun set....it was becoming nothing more than a constant cycle. And it wasn't like she had much company.
Once awake, she noticed a few voices drifting over the summer air. Only recognizing Mai's, she decided that paying the little party a visit wouldn't hurt. After all, it wasn't like there was much else to do.
Arching her back playfully, she sighed and gently flipped out of the tree and into the air. The first thing that came into view was a rather disgruntled demon yelling curse words at Mai- not something that particularly suprised the nymph. Landing gracefully on a nearby branch, she raised one eyebrow cautiously.
"Lovely morning, isn't it?" She commented, laughing a slight bit. Despite her slight sarcasm, it really was quite a nice morning. It was warm, warmer than usual, and just rather enjoyable.

As Isaac cried out, Mai burst into a fit of laughter, falling backwards and neglecting the blanket entirely, hell it was all too funny. The blanket slipped from her breasts to cover her pelvis and below, the tip of it pointing towards her naked belly button. She continued to giggle, covering her lips with her hands cheekily.
Her response to his question was the nodding of her head, though he couldn't see it. Her eyes remained closed, jammed shut with slithers of tears forming from laughing so hard. Mai couldn't remember the last time she'd laughed so hard, and it wasn't even that funny in the end. Or Isaac surely didn't think so.
He may have soon, however, for a moment later, Mai felt the blood rush to her cheeks as a dear friend of hers, Ana, entered their little area, declaring the lovely morning. "Ohhh!" Mai exclaimed, scrunching up to a ball to hide whatnot and scrambling to grab the blanket and wrap it around herself once more.
She finally covered herself, but avoided Ana's gaze, the demoness was most embarrassed. With rouge-tinted cheeks, Mai huddled back into a curled position and buried her face in the blanket, facing her back to Isaac and Ana and hiding her embarrassed and coy smile. "Mhmm.." She replied, muffled.

"I dont think it was that f***ing necessary." Isaac muttered darkly, rubbing his injured limb.
His head rose slightly as he sensed a new prescence in the clearing, one he knew from past meetings, "Hello Ana."

She nodded respectfully to Isaac, wondering what the pair had been doing alone in the forest- especially with Mai so scantily clad. It almost made her want to fall off the tree in mad fits of laughter, but she decided against it. She'd wait until she got far, far away before laughing and thinking over the various possibilities in her mind. After all, she did need something to do that afternoon.
"Did you two decide to have a party and not invite me?" She teased, half serious and half not. Giggling to herself a little bit, she stretched out playfully at the branch and politely averted her eyes as Mai adjusted her thin-looking blanket.
Anactoria rarely slept naked, too much of a risk. She just couldn't stand the thought of having some little walk in on her.... it would just be too embarassing. Mai did look a bit embarassed, but then again she'd just been found sleeping naked in a tree by a demon and a nymph. But then again, the forest wasn't exactly like a private bedroom.

OOC: Mind if I enter? If you don't want me here, I'll delete the post ;D
Dante moved silently as he always did, he was hunting something that he had seen moving for only a brief moment but had for the most part lost his prey. His dark cloak hung loosely from his frame while his head was uncovered. It was a strange occurrence to see him walking in this manner as he was going about without hiding himself completely from any possible eyes. His long, white hair was flowing behind him as Dante was searching. The normally pure white orbs that he called eyes were also of a strange sort. In his blank, roving stare was an inverted, crystal blue, cross on the surface of his left eye. This soulless being was having a very troubling time hunting because of of his eye and the fact that he lost all hope of actually finding his prey.
Dante stopped moving suddenly and drew his blade as he saw something most unordinary in a clearing. His eyes took in a demon clothed mostly in black sitting semi-peacefully with a demoness. As he stopped to watch to gathering for a moment Dante was almost in awe of what he had seen. The demoness that he had barely recognized as Mai Le Rosa had bashed the demon in the leg then jumped up while leaving most of her "gown" to drop down to her waist. Dante had been absentmindedly moving slowly toward the two when he was shot back into reality by something he would most likely be soon to regret.
To say that seeing the graceful demoness almost nude caught Dante off guard would be a drastic understatement. In fact the sight had made him drop the blade from his hand to fall and dig deeply into the side of his leg. The blade had made a very painful sheath for itself in his calf muscles, it was something very new to Dante. Formerly he was under the belief that absolutely nothing could hurt him, it was clear now that he was very wrong. He looked down in disbelief as pain shot through his right leg. "God f**king damn it!" Dante screamed in pain as he pulled the blade out, black blood was quickly spilling out from his right calf.
He looked to Mai as he staggered over to a tree. "Hi, how are you?" He said through tightly clenched teeth. The nymph that was present had caught the corner of Dante's eye. "Oh great, her too." He thought silently. They had met once before, in a fight on the lake which had ended in a draw. Dante slid down the tree into a very disorderly heap of a person.
