*Chris had just reached the outskirts of the forest again. He looked up and the red moon. It seemed to be on fire. He shrugged off his gaze and concentrated on how to protect the forest and give Hayzie some time to set the traps. It was a settled day out still. No wind. No movement no motion. The castle was quiet from here. The students were in class where he would be had this threat not come around. A breeze spread through the area very lightly as if the last gasp of any oxygen left. It was getting really warm out. He smelled the flowers blooming on the other side of the castle through the breeze just then. That was it. Smell. He needed to stop smell from spreading. This was were elemental magic would work best. He held out his arms and a light rain fell along the grass. The forest suddenly sprang to life with the sound of a slow rain. It began to pour harder. The rain may reduce our lycans smell and vision but it would reduce the others as well. He then began to think of other ways to give his side any once of an advantage.*

“Sh*t,” Hayzie whispered to herself as it started to rain. Putting her hand up, almost as though shielding her eyes from the sun, the blonde girl had to squint to see what she was doing clearly. Ash would have been useful in this situation, and there was no way she was about to get the trees to wind their branches around the super-lycans. But why were they after the vampires too?
Shaking the thought away, Hayz concentrated on setting up a sinking sand like substance in the mud. Similar to the way she had changed the water into a mud bath in the Prefects’ Bath.
