OOC: Is it too late for me to play? ^^
BIC: Late. Late as always. This was terrible- it was her first game of the season and she had to get delayed by a darn boggart. The thing just wouldn't give up! And Stacey had never been particularly fond of Defense Against the Dark Arts- so it definitly took her longer than usual to get rid of the stupid thing. She had hardly had time to throw on her robes and pick up her broom before the game began, and then she had trouble finding out where she had to be. Always getting into trouble. Why couldn't she just be on time to something, just for once? Sighing, she quickly tied back her hair and entered the Pitch, completely aware that the game had already begun.
Mounting her broom, she quickly rose up into the sky and looked around, spying Slyph and Aylen already flying high. Neither one of them seemed to have noticed her yet, but then she happened to see that Slyph was in possesion of the Quaffle. Good. Even without her, the Gryffindors were in good hands. Not like she had expected Slyph to do any less than a completely excellent job. It looked like she was about to score, but the blond haired girl still stuck close to her.
Just incase a stray bludger happened to hit Slyph, at least she would be there and able to snag the Quaffle- hopefully before Teagan could...

Gladly Sylph saw - finally - another of her team-mates had finally caught up with her. She tossed the quaffle to Stacy, a few feet below. Thinking quickly to disorietate the ravenclaw keeper, Sylph went into a kind of backwards loop-the-loop, soaring around Stacy whilst calling out to her 'back to me!' Her plan was simple, change direction, do a one-two, and score. She just hoped that Stacy saw what she meant to do.

And suddenly, the Quaffle was in her hands. Wow. All the adrenaline just began pumping through her body as she held that red ball- to anyone else it might be meaningless, but she had been on her broom for less than five minutes and already she had the ball in her hands. Dodging a Bludger, she tried to figure out what Slyph was trying to yell at her. What did she want her to do? Panicked, she glanced around for any sign of the Ravenclaws. Oh god, oh god, oh god.....
Ducking, she faked the Ravenclaw keeper out to the left and then tossed the Quaffle directly at the hoop that was furthest to the right. Oh god, oh god... what if it didn't go in? What if she really wasn't any good at this game? She almost couldn't look as the ball soared towards the hoop and the Keeper frantically tried to block it... would her attempt on a goal all be in vain?

The ball went right through the hoop!
"Twenty-zero to Gryffindor!" yelled Rose happily. Her old school team was losing, but it didn't really matter. She was freezing cold and longed to be back up in the Head's Tower nice and cozy, but she was addicted to this game. Who would win?

OOC: hint time! Please?
IC: Sylph pulled up from hr loop just in time to see Stacy put the quaffle through the hoop. She cheered, but somewhat tiredly. This was a slow game, and it didn't seem to be getting any faster. All Sylph could think now was findthesnitch findthesnitch findthesnitch. It was starting to snow, and her hands were frozen. Still, she would not give up, and seeing as how the ravenclaw chasers were so poor tonight, she may as well try and rack up a few goals in the mean time. Flying off after the falling quaffle, Sylph turned and caught it, all in one fluid motion, tossing it in the air and catching it again in a mocking gesture to all the ravenclaws -players and supporters. Wrenching her broom upwards, quaffle in hand, she turned back towards the ravenclaw goals, Stacy close behind her.
Dodging a bludger to her right, and an unsucessful tackle from an opposing chaser on the left, Sylph zig-zagged around the pitch, hugging the edges of the seats at times. Eventually, she saw her opportunity, wound up her arm, and shot the quaffle like a bullet towards the left goal hoop.

Her heart stopped the exact second that the ball went in. She had done it. She made a goal. Oh, she made a goal! Her father would be so happy of her. After just transferring here, she was already out on the pitch, and had scored the very first goal of the season! It felt unreal to her, as though she was floating in a dream, or maybe living the life of someone else. But this was her life, and that was the goal that she had just scored. She just hovered there for a few seconds after the ball went in, completely not paying attention to the rest of the Ravenclaw players, or even the ones on her own team.
Luckily, Slyph managed to get to the ball before a Ravenclaw could. Already her mind was set on the next task- score another goal, or find the snitch. She didn't know who was the team's seeker, but she hoped that they were doing a darn good job. Otherwise they might lose the game simply because they couldn't find that golden little ball- and that would be a pity indeed. They had to beat Ravenclaw... they just had to.
Pulling herself out of her thoughts, she zoomed along behind Slyph and watched the girl's every move. None of the Bludgers were too close... yes. It looked like they were safe. She held her breath as the Quaffle grew nearer to the goal, closer, closer...

The thing you seek is lost in a place of rest To find it you must walk at night That lurk between the points of a star There lies your victory, in the dead of night
You need to find a clue for the board, and a clue for the page number, and a clue of the title of the thread... shouldn't be too hard. Go go go.
By the by, this is totally unorthadox for a Quidditch game. What happened to the roleplaying? You're just gonna give up? Jeez...

OOC: I was role playing, but I suddenly had to go sub... You know, if you guys role played better, you may have won. IC: The game continued on and on; the cold had begun to chill students by now, and Teagan's fingers had begun to get numb. Normally, she hated it when they numbed and cramped like this. This time would be considered a part of that normality. The rest of her muscles were drastically slowed, too. She really didn't like this. Now, if she would have been able to continue to play as beater she would have been enjoying herself much more. Speaking of which, the prefect moved a few feet to her right as one of the bludgers came from behind her and went to where she had been sitting a few seconds earlie A slight sigh escaped her as she boredly watched the orb continue its path. Even many of the other players weren't doing much. Teagan had had to switch her position, and she didn't like that too much, but... Quietly, the girl's tired red eyes followed the bludger's trail to where it had passed an interesting, small, and golden orb. Well, wasn't this interesting? The prefect flew through the dark airs, and silently grasped the winged object. Teagan supposed most of the other players were too sleepy by now to notice. Not too mention, they couldn't exactly see her very well. The snitch was cold her to her touch, and the miniature little wings beat in her palm. Careful not to get hit by the most intriguing bludgers, she quickly but steadily flew downward. Pleased that the match was finally over, she raised the snitch. mgckalhrizn.proboards35.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=graveyard&thread=1114168891&page=1#1114168891

Rose jumped for joy - her home team had won after all! Suddenly realising that her squeals were deafening the pitch, she blushed and composed herself.
"Er... Ravenclaw wins the game, 150-20! The substitute Seeker gets the Snitch! Incredible!!"
With a grin, Rose watched the players come down to the ground, made sure they were all safe, and then turned to head for the warmth of the Tower. Exhiliration only kept one warm for so long.
