Amiri watched the bludger and smiled, holding one hand out towards it. The bludger halted, spun in a few circles, and went flying back towards Rohana. She didn't have time for the bludgers now, and focusing all her energy on them was getting harder and harder.
Oh, how she just wanted to sleep.
Instead, Amiri reared up and prepared herself for another bludger.

"Amiri, need any help there?" shouted Nina through the pouring sheets of water that bounced off the magical shield she had over herself.
Grinning, she could barely contain her glee at their current lead, but she wasn't doubting that they could still easily loose. One mustn't count their chickens before they hatch.
Steadying the bat, she swung carefully at a bludger, sending it off into space, to far too be seen through the rain.

All of a sudden, a scarlet and gold clad bullet shot up into the air in the game. Laura was breathing hard, as if she'd just ran all the way from the castle down to the pitch. Her nose was still upturned as a result of her unfortunate transformation to a pig earlier that day.
Her eyes assessed the situation in an instant, and she threw herself into play as if she had been there form the very commencement of the match.

Hikalyn hovered far above the other players, only watching the game out of the corner of her eye. She was paying enough attention to whoop loudly when her team scored, or to groan in disappointment when the Gryffindors did. Even now, the crowd was screaming wildly. She darted around the pitch, dodging Bludgers and keeping her eye out for that telltale glimmer.
Her gaze traveled over to the the goalposts, resuming their constant search. There it was.
Hikalyn leaned forward on her Firebolt, tucking her elbows and legs in and throwing her entire weight into the dive. She went down in a steep decline, hands outstretched, her amythest eyes never leaving that tiny spot of gold. The stinging wind made water well in her eyes, but she didn't slow down, wouldn't relent. Not now...they were so close...
She reached out with both hands, and closed them over the tiny golden ball. Its wings fluttered frantically, trying to escape, but she tightened her grip on it and held the hand containing it up in the air.
"I have it!" she shrieked, though it was doubtful that anyone would manage to hear her in the tulmult. "I have it!"

(ooc) *snorts* My usual excellent timing. Congrats!
(bic) Laura gaped. There was nothing she could possibly say. Once again, she had failed her team, and she couldn't bring herself to meet a single Gryffindor eye.

"SLYTHERIN HAVE GOT THE SNITCH, AND WIN THE GAME! THE FINAL SCORE: SLYTHERIN HAVE 170 POINTS AND GRYFFINDOR HAVE 10 POINTS!" Rose yelled, then removed the Sonorus charm from her voice.
Grinning at the Slytherin team, she nodded towards the players and walked directly back to the Head's Tower - she'd let the students celebrate alone.
