As she watched the red blur fly through the hoops, Addie could feel an elated grin spreading wildly across her face. She was cold, damp, and extremely bedraggled, but she also felt as if she could take off into the rain darkened sky and soar without her FallingStar to aid her. This is what she was meant to do, this is where she excelled. Quidditch was the only lasting love of her life.

Amiri watched as the rain cascaded down her clothes, not touching her skin as she noticed a bludger flying past her head. An idea sprung in her head as she focused on it, stopping it dead in its tracks.
"Addie, present."
The bludger, as if on cue, went flying in Adhara's direction as Amiri flew towards Nina, looking around. "This was an unexpected turn in the weather."

OOC: Um, at the current....me. Dragon had to go get dinner.
BIC: Bloody hell, as much as she loved this game, she HATED bludgers. Ah well, time to persuade the little bugger it wanted to go follow some other poor sod around.
With an evil grin, Adhara sped off in Kalyn's direction, and after dodging behind her, triumphantly managed to diverdge the evil little black ball's attention onto her poor, unsuspecting fellow Prefect.

Spitting out water, Nina had to agree with Amiri.
"Hell yeah..." she muttered as she pelted a bludger away from them and at the opposing chaser.
Her robes were so weighed down with water she had trouble moving, and finally she pulled out her wand for a second to set somewhat of a raincoat spell on herself and over her eyes, so she could see and more easier.
Replacing her wand in her pocket, she watched carefully for any bludgers, trying to see through the rain.
Seeing the bludger diverted to the seeker, she made a mad attempt at beating it, racing along side it for a few moments before she swung backwards and to the side, sending the ball off in no particular direction. Though it was, most importantly, away from the key player.

Amiri glared at Adhara and sped away from Nina and towards Hikalyn. She couldn't focus through the rain at the object so far, so she pulled herself close to the broomstick and flew as hard and fast as she could.
A cry of pain echoed through the rain drenched feild as Amiri took the blow of the bludger to her side, moisture building in her eyes. Another glare shot at Adhara as Amiri hung in mid-air, half hanging over the side of the broom. "Ha, I'm stronger then that." She pulled herself up and sped towards the goal.
'Concentrate.'

OOC: pththt fine, obsolete my post. Oh, it raining...? Oh.
BIC:Rohana watched the white-haired chaser mutter something, and a bludger spun, of its own accord, to head in an arrow-straight line towards Adhara. She leapt into action, fueling her movement with a brief twinkling of proficiency.
The bludger didn’t stand a chance.
Rohana rumbled as the heavy ball rolled off of her light wooden bat. It headed off into space- she didn’t need it to be too available, should one of the Slytherns decide one of the Gryffindor’s needed to be unseated quickly.

A wincing sympathy pain resounded through Addie's lithe body as she watched Amiri take the hit for her seeker. That was the definition of a bold move, and the Prefect held a new respect for the girl. She had guts.
However, the move had cost her the quaffle. As Amiri took the blow for Kalyn, Adhara turned her attention away after a moment, and caught the quaffle from the Slythering keeper. Courage always had it's downside.

Amiri looked through blurry eyes and came up to the chaser holding the Quaffle. She smacked it once real hard with her fist and caught it, slipping a bit on her broom as she went into another dive.
A globe erected itself around Amiri to keep the rain out so she could concentrate better. The water wasn't helping her at all, and there wasn't any time left to ponder the outcome of the hit.
Throwing the Quaffle forward, it peirced the edge of the globe and flew through a hoop. A sigh escaped her lips as she turned around and flew towards Sharade.

Grumbles as the snake team gets another goal. Then she dives low over the feild and smashes a bludger into the falling qauffle, effectively sending the quaffle back into Addie's direction, hopfully the girl will take advantage of her manuver and score.
"FOUR! Heads up ADDIE!"

Disappointment flooded Adhara's very being as she lost her grip on the rain speckled ball. It slipped out of her grasp, and into Amiri's waiting hands she watched futilely. The disappointment transformed into a deep-rooted self scorn as the other chaser launched the ball she'd held so recently in her hands through her goalposts.
Rose's commentary made her feel all the more worse. Well, this wasn't the first, nor would it probably be the last time that she allowed a goal to be scored. She needed to let it go and not dwell on it. There would be time to rehash her mistakes later. With that thought in mind, she redoubled her determination, absolutely refusing to give up. A mad gleam glittered in her eye as she zoomed up the pitch to catch the quaffle from her beater.

The Quaffle halted in mid air as Amiri strained to concentrate on it, swooping in to catch it. The globe erected around her wavered for a few seconds as she tried to keep the broom steady. She grabbed it with an outstretched arm and continued flying towards Sharade.
"Sharade! Catch!" Amiri tossed the the Quaffle to her and coughed, halting the broom. The adrenaline had washed out most of the pain from the strike, but not all. Her hands began to tremble as she struggled to control her coughing and took to the air once again.

Rohana swung around. She aimed herself at the nearest bludger and shot forward, meeting it with a shuddering crack. It spun off, away from her, traveling increasingly faster by its own means in the direction of the young Chaser. Perfect shot.
Rohana grinned.
