Okay, I was reading through the Graphics Request Thread because I was kinda bored and felt like making an avatar or two. But I noticed that while I was 'gone' in the last month or so, not many people have been responding to the requests for graphics. Doesn't that completely go against the decision we made that we would try to help each other out? I think so. But in that whole five page thread, I've only seen a small group of people get the avatar they requested (aside from the giant batch of avvies Faith made), while the rest are ignored and forgotten. So then I thought, well, probably not everyone has the capabilities to make/find an avatar for someone else. Which brings me to the conclusion that we should try and nominate a small group of people who have the programs and interest to make these graphics for everyone, and give them a sort of job here on MH to make graphics for the people on the thread. It, of course, would not force anyone to do anything, just a group of people who want to make the graphics and are up to the challenge of making them. Any thoughts?

(aside from the giant batch of avvies Faith made) *coughs* That Hope made. ;D Heh, lookie, me and Faith-y are getting mixed up already. Well, I think a way to make the thread work better, would be to have the people - once there request was filled - completely delete their post. It would be way more easier for a graphic maker to find people that need to make things. I went through and did all the forgotten ones that were mixed up amongst the ones that were done. It was pretty confusing. You could have a group of people, yes, but I thought there were quite a few avatar makers on here? Maybe?

So sorry hun, I was half asleep when I wrote that. >.<
Yeah, that would be good, except that I've noticed that a lot of people post on there for graphics and then completely fall off the face of the earth. So I doubt that everyone would delete their post...But then that's where Kalyn comes in, if she would be up for that? ^^;;

I agree. I think it's sad that so many people make requests and then don't have them answered. I would be willing to help out as well, but I can't make avatars.
But you've got my support, if that counts for anything. ^_^

Good luck finding people. It seems the ones who can do it, are already doing it.

I'm game for it, though I'm only good at avatars. I'm no good at siggies ^.^' heh. And Kalyn... I don't think she'll be up for it, considering that she's forfeited her status... Check the Night Bus for details.

Really?
Ugh. I'm so behind in all the latest events here at MH. >.<
Of course support counts! Hehe, I just don't know why. xD
Well, I guess that works then. I just really wish we had someone who had Mod. powers that could delete the posts, and then we could set up a system...Something like when someone has posted an avatar for someone else, the Mod. can delete the person's request. But then that raises the problem of the person not liking the avatar that's given...I dunno. Does anyone else have any ideas about how to make it run smoother?

Um... maybe assign everyone to one or two days of the week that are best for them to make graphics? Then, on their assigned day, they can take care of the requests so that they don't pile up and become unmanageable.

Well, modify your post that started the thread, Amy, and say that if they don't like it, they can shove it Nah. Mod it and say that they should IM the person who did their avatar and tell them that something's on it that they don't like etc. That would help out, and that way you can delete the post that has been filled (whether they like the avii or not). Also, if it is deleted, and they want someone else to fill their request, simply get them to make another post ^^ Problem solv-ed ...apart from the lack of mod... Well, when we get a new head boy and girl, maybe we could talk to them about this, and ask them ever-so kindly to help us out?
