I like the idea of having a board, but Carmen is right, it's against the legal technicalities of Proboards, and I seriously doubt any of you want to see Rose and Claire get in trouble over something as petty as advertising extra sites. I don't really understand why people can't just put them in their signatures...It's easy, and a lot of people will see it when you roleplay. I think it's better to play safe then sorry.

No, it really isn't. They mean advertising above random sites made by RP-ers. After all, people advertising their own sites does not cause proboards to lose any money, as it would if some company that would normally have had to pay to get themselves advertised in the board at the top decided to go in and start advertising.
I still think it is an awesome idea, for it causes no complications with proboards and makes things a bit easier on everyone.

I agree with Azrael. I've read through the terms of service myself, and unless I'm badly misinterpreting something, the idea of this subboard is in no way against them. *shrugs* As far as I'm concerned, it's feasible. However, I have to wonder how effective it would be. It would work to start off, but sooner or later you're gonna have two, three, four pages of threads and nobody'll ever look beyond the first page.

Actually, if it went for more than one page, a lot of people would simply click on the last page, which would be the logical thing to do as it would have the most recent sites, thus the sties with the greatest probability of still being active

You can have a board if you wish, in which members can post the link to a site and maybe a little desciption of what the site is about. If it starts to get full of chatting though, it will be removed.
It will just be for the advertising of sites.
Does this sound OK?

Wonderful, I'm glad Claire agrees. ^^ It'll probably help MH too since it's almost like an affiliation!

Thanks Claire.
I'm sorry if it seems that I am being a little pushy, but when will the sub-board be made? I am sorry if I overlooked it, and it is already there... somewhere.

It is done - it is at the bottom of the boards in Fanfics area.
Enjoy...
