(Astounding, I know. ) Right. All flippancies aside, what do you guys think of an affiliate system? I know the spam thing has been a big issue; everybody hates spam mail and signature links don't always seem to be enough to get people going to their sites. With all the new boards springing up everywhere, I'm sure there'd be a whack of people interested in signing up pretty well right away, and it's not hard to set up. I just thought it might be more effecient than everybody sending out seperate advertisements to everyone else through PMs, especially when, let's face of it, most of us just ignore spam anyway. So, what do you think? Yes no?

You mean a bunch of links sending off to the other boards from www.fortressians.com ? Because if not, and it's supposed to be here, well, it's not allowed. No advertisement, as I am sure you know (since you're head girl). So yeah. *shushes*

It would be good and it would allow people to see the sites and pick which ones they want to go see

Magic Horizons already has an affiliate system - sites affiliated are linked to on the Fortressians site.

Yes that is something we all know however with what's going on and adding on a list of sites which ether had deid and is in need of people, a site got revamed, or just recently started. I belived it would help sites like that out greatly.

We have an affiliates page? Since when?
o-o
Wow. I'm so behind in current affairs it's almost funny.
Anyways, I love the idea of the little marquee of buttons. But if we already have something, I suppose it would be a bit obsolete...?
Hmm. A pointless post. Ah well.
