You know, I always thought PMing large amounts of people would be a pain. I mean, we don't have a "reply to all" button like in e-mails. I'm thinking there should be a General Message Board right at the top of the site, in the See the Magic grouping so we don't miss it. Then the Heads could post Quidditch dates and maybe current plot summaries there or other announcements. And the Common Rooms should have a sub-board like this too. Member lists are really hard to keep track of, and I know Laura and Hayzie think it's tiring too, right guys?

Well, the admins can mass PM members. Not a bad idea, though--provided people read it. At another board I'm at, nine times out of ten they don't. x.x

Well, those are both good statements, but If the heads posted it up there, and it's said that the Quidditch stuff and everything would be posted there, it'd be their fault for not bothering to click a button to read. ^~

I like this idea because it gives students the chance to make announcements as well. Provided it isn't crazy spam-like announcements, I think it's good.

I was thinking more like staff approved anouncements only, but....*shrug*

yea, I think staff only should post. Students might start off well, and not spam it, but after awhile we all know that it would get corrupted and only drive people insane. But it's a good idea.
