It has come to my attention of this. After being here for a year, I have seen that there has been many cases where the subjects hereby known as Party A (Newbies), have caused terror and sickness among the subjects hereby known as Party B (Oldies).
Now, I do not want to be evil. I will not insult Party A, or reprimand Party B. But you see, long has the subject hereby known as Party C (Me), thought 'One day I'll be Head Boy, and I'll sort out the Newbies.' Of course, I didn't recieve that until lately.
I have seen that there have been many MANY terrors in the past caused by Party A, and the past authorities, hereby known as Party D, have taken until many days after because of personal business.
I have no personal business, I am always online, I can sort these out. Those were the beliefs of Party C. My predecessor, Kezaa (hereby known as Party D-1), has given his position to me, and I decided I would sort out these problems.
And then Party C runs to the spots where I am not MOD.
Hence, the Muggle World, the Forest, on the grounds is where they wreck the most havoc. I have heard from Party D-1 that there was a time when the Head Boy and Head Girl (hereby known as Party D-2) were able to MOD almost every board except for the creature boards (hereby known as Party E.)
Party E has a security system, if you enter you die. Hence it's safe for Party A to go in there. Basically, through all this confusing stuff, I ask this.
Since the 'Blue Star' (Global Moderator) has not been used for any other status, can the Head Boy and Head Girl be given the position of 'Global Moderators' so we can scour this place and help the Headmistresses out in times of Personal Business?
This is not for my own power. This is an offer.

Ahem. *clears throat while taking microphone* I plan on making BETTER LUNCHES, BETTER HALLWAYS, and best of all, FREE CANDY!!!!!! *woo~!!!!!* VOTE WINDWALTZ/MICHAELS 2004!!!!!!!!!! *ahem*
Sorry, got a little carried away there. Well, let's say a thread gets out of hand, for instance. One of us, Kiki and myself, can go in there, end the fight, and lock it. Or perhaps, like in the case of the Forbidden Forest, we can sticky threads just to show what NOT to do. Or perhaps someone uses horribly foul language in a thread (this has happened before). We delete it.
Basically, we moderate the site, and make sure things don't get too bad. We'll have a bit more force behind our talk, no?

Odd how we have a tendancy to agree, Jacob.
Definitely agree with everything you said, ESPECIALLY what you said in the last post. I think it's very important for everyone to have free candy.
I mean... yes, there should definitely be a way to end these things, most importantly, those threads in the forest. They only get more and more irritating.
And when you think about it, in Hogwarts, students would be in SO much trouble if they just waltzed into the forest with an attitude towards the creatures that are ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO BE THERE!!!
Okay, done now...

Think of it this way. Sure I know, back when I was Railyn, Lord of the Forest, (C(K?)ookaburra sits in the old gum tree) I thought 'The Head Boy and Girl shouldn't have command over the forest!' and I brought that to mind as I wrote that.
Marina's post just sorted that paradox out. They would be in a LOT of trouble, and saying that they did come out alive, they would be reprimanded by the authorities. We can't reprimand them so they can just walk out of the forest scot-free, no matter how shunned and verbally abused they are.

Agreeing with the Talon-ness and Marina. *nods sagely*
Though I'm sure few will be able to slosh through Talon's legal-esque writing above... *pokes it*
YAY! PARTY! *dance*

Ah, but yes, anyway. Very good idea, I think. Yes. *nods*

Well, originally the Head Girl & Boy did actually moderate all the boards they could, until I thought about it and wondered why on earth the Head Girl & Boy had any influence over the Muggle World, Diagon Alley, etc. I am quite happy to reinstate your MODness... I just thought it was a little odd that school-based authorities should have powers elsewhere.
As long as you aren't planning on power-tripping, I'm fine with it. You and Kiki have a talk and let me know.

*whines* But I like power-tripping! But I do see where you are coming from Rose, it doesn't really make sense for the Heads of the school to have mod skills over different parts of the world where we usually wouldn't in the book. The thing is, it'd just help to reinforce the Family-friendliness of the site if there were two extra people scoping around for offensive threads. And we could get the Prefects in on it too - they keep their eyes open and IM one of us. But I'm with Jacob. I'm on the bulk of the time as well, so either of us is open for any questions or such any of you minions - er - students have, we'd be more than happy to answer or help out. But see, technically we wouldn't have heavy influence over the boards, just seeing that some threads were locked, moved, deleted...the inappropriate ones, o'course...just to make the site a better place. *steps down from soapbox* Oh and Jacob, tis Kookaburra. ;D As Brae pointed out. *steps back into shadow*

Hear bloody hear. I dun remember if any of you remember Balthazar, but he had driven some of the offensiveness limits, well, to the limit. If any of you here go on Hyrule Horizons, one of Zeion's sites, you would see some, ah, interesting situations. I would like to offer my services as a watcher, or I would like to volunteer one of my other accounts that I enjoy a good deal.

Okie dokie - well, I'm kind of tied up with the frontpages at the moment, but you should be fully reinstated as MODs on most of the boards within the next couple of days.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for inappropriate threads. I'm determined not to just use my Prefect position as a status thing. I actually want to help out on the site as opposed to just looking cool.
