I'm happy with the Forbidden Forest's status. I mean you get to play around with them, then toss the poor, suffering kid out. Works well for both ends.
It's a real scream.

Meh, I think we should at least be able to kill morons that come into the forest and proclaim they're better then us. I mean, come on, look at HP books. This is an HP site, after all. People die in there, they know it's dangerous, and risk death everytime they go there. Now let's see how that transfers over:
*student walks in* *sits down* *starts knitting* 'friendly little place this is.'
.... Ahem? Is there something wrong with that? Methinks so.
And ignore Chris and his drunken stupidity, he's always like that.
I like maiming my prey, it's a lot of fun. But the ones that waltz in just looking for a fight to prove that they're better and think they can get out of it clean, those guys need to be maimed, ripped apart, stabbed, and killed if they don't get the message by then.
Whatever happened to penalties for the students when they went into the forest by the heads, anyways? Oh, the questions.
Edit: And Mai, you're literally worshipped on this site. I'd think it'd be an honor if you killed me, even. *bows to her*

Eurus has a bit of a point with the last one. I mean, everyone here's complaining about the knitting thing, and the maiming thing, and honestly, there's no way to win. But what about PENALTIES for going into the forest? What about LOSING HOUSE POINTS? Do the Heads just walk in and say "Oh wonderful, you went in the FORBIDDEN Forest, and you actually made a pretty sweater! Can I wear it?" Honestly, I like the whole punishment upon entering idea. THAT, at last, explains the "Forbidden" in Forbidden Forest.
And lastly, don't get any ideas, Eurus, you already died once by someone else, you're not going to again. *brandishes fire whip*

My oh my, yes, Demons should have the right to kill silly little students that come in and walk about as if they own the place, knowing they can get out alive. It so irritates me when they ignore what you have done to them, I mean come on now, really, do they even read the posts that one works on? I say make it a kill zone for Demons and the like. Tis only fair, me thinks.
I have a human student here and she would not EVEN consider waltzing into the forest as I am just not that silly and do not wish for her to come away with a chunk missing from her nose or something of the sort. How unsightly would THAT be!!
Oh, and agrees with Eurus on this one, wholeheartedly.

I think forest lycans should be able to, aswell... Because they are Forest Lycans....
Claire could make sub-boards.. Like, she could have a spot for the demons, and a part for the forest lycans where they are allowed to kill, and then have a place where you can just get hurt... But that would be pointless, then they would just go where they could only get hurt...
Nevermind, ya, I think killing should be allowed - especially if the student is too difficult and 'all powerful.'

I think it should be okay to kill students with terrible posting who ignore everything else the other characters do. After all, it's kind of difficult to accidentally find yourself in the Forbidden Forest when you know it's possible to die, like you can in Harry Potter. It would lower the number of pointless and aggravating posts. Though, the better role players should be fine when they enter, and should be able to leave alive (most likely missing a few limbs) considering they're not being such a nuisance to role play with.

You all have a point. Points should be taken, penalties should be enforced, but will they be?
The students use the fact that they can't be killed to their advantage by coming in multiple times/making more accounts to help out their first char ect. ect. ect.
I personally think that students who continuously come into the forest with the whole 'Im so better than u an i cant die becoz i dont give u permishon an my lims cant be torn of coz im so great!' thing should really be killed off if it gets to that. Of course the creatures would maim them and the like before to try and knock it into their minds that they wont get out without a scratch, but if it really came to killing them, they should probably ask the headmistress beforehand to have a little chat to the student.
But I honestly don't think it will happen.
The most stupid thing I've found with students in the forbidden forest though is that they might have a whole Lycan pack attacking the one student and they think they can take the whole lot on! I think it's so stupid! If I were attacked with loads of Demons, Lycans, Vampires ect. OR EVEN JUST ONE, I'd be scared out of my mind.
Hell, I think anyone would be! But nooo... they're not scared in the forest.
Sorry... my rant... I hadda...
I know this cancels out what I might have said earlier, but Killing should be allowed, only to an extent though.

I like the "kill the idiotic ignorant roleplayer" idea, but how we define that if this even goes through? I mean, I sometimes miss reading a few posts if I'm not on for a while. Maybe we should send a standardized "warning" pm and see how they respond to that. Then if they sound whiy in their responding pm, then tell him you're gonna kill him, and then kill him. (Besides, even if you kill the character, wouldn't the guy ignore it if he ignores everything else?)

It's probably better to send an IM to Claire when the specific event comes up, even though she'll probably say 'don't kill them' (not meaning to offend our lovely headmistress at all). If we do send an IM to the student, it's best to send one to Claire too (I'd suggest)

I can see where everyone is coming from, which is always a plus when reading a thread of this nature. I think demons and Forest Lycans should have the right to kill, but limit that right a tad, sense as Claire once said the forest does not belong to anyone, but the lycans and demon's live there. The funny thing is i doubt the tunnel lycan's have a deed for the tunnels if you get my point. So as not to offend or say anything bad of the Headmistress but that reply was rather silly. On the matter of stupid students going into the forest and pretending not to be harmed by demons, well i must admit i have done it with another of my accounts... granted the account was not actually human but he was a student. Killing should be allowed but with limitations or else the demons and lycans would lose all their fun . If a student enter the forest, they should be given a warning, by the demon or lycan who wishes to post with them, and of course by staff (Head girl or Head Boy, or Ministries)( not the Headmistress all the time... she has a life). Then the role play precedes, if the student after the warning continues to role play as if the demon or lycan is not harming them(With in reason) then a message should go out to Claire. She should be allowed to weight the options. Of course as Sealla said she might say not to kill them, but if she where to send the warnings or even have it on the board she might be inclined to agree with the attacker. But if the forest is given over to a free kill zone, then i would think it wise to atleast let some people live or else you will end up like the vampires, lycan, and Valkyries and have no fun at all. OK i will stop acting like a noob now.... Look having a place where forest lycans and demons can kill is just plain fair, just because they are in a place where in the books the students aren't allowed to go but do should not even be a reason, heck not even entertained as a thought. The sub board idea was interesting give the forest lycans a sort of tunnels of their own as well as a demon hideaway. They are members and character who deserve the same rights as the other races Just my thoughts on the issue at hand...

O0o. I didn't even know there was such thing as a sub-board.
So it is possible for the Demons and Forest Lycans (and whoever else who lives there) to have a place to call their own?
Interesting...

Yes there are subboards, heck if sealla was still beta, she could have ask Claire to have her own den made into a board
Just another one of the new little gifts Proboard blessed us with
