"That was good, but this time, try and do it all in one motion. That way, you will have your back to the the dummy for a much shorter amount of time." he said with a grin as he leisurely leaned against the wall.
"If I'm scary, you'll give yourself the willies when you find out what you're capable of."

Ashlle set up another dummy and tried again. This time she thought she'd try taking a few steps back and attacking at a run.
She stepped away three steps and then quickly raced forwarded and neatly sliced off the dummy's head and right arm, then jumped back as they fell to the floor. She wiped her forehead on her arm and tried again this time removing it's torso from it legs.
Her focus never wavered, though she was tired and perspiring. Her eyes, if they didn't have the killer glint, held intensity rare in 11-year-olds. "Was that any better?" she asked, ignoring the dummy parts that now littered the floor.

Kezaa clapped his hands in stunned applause. It seemed she was catching on quite quickly.
"Well Ashlle, it seems you don't give yourself enough credit. I think that's enough for today." he said as he lazily took his wand again and reinerated the evicerated dummys, making them as new again.

OOC: re- what the what dummys?! Where are you getting words like that? How old are you? (and I thought I was remarkable at English)
IC: "Thank you for this lesson Master Kezaa. I apreciate the time your takeing with me." Ashlle told him, handing back his sword. "Also thank you for the compliment, but you -especially- must know that if you don't put 110% into your work you'll never get ahead?"

(OOC) Evicerated- def: what we just did to those dummies, which was slice them to ribbons. You teach me new words, I'll do the same. ;D
(BIC)"Point taken, kohai (Lower-classman). However, you must learn to push me to that limit, as well as yourself. I only showed you some very fundamental aspects of swordplay, so that neither of us would be hurt." he explained after bowing in respect to his hard working pupil.

OOC: I made up my word, your word at least sounds real.
IC: Ashlle looked at the ground, and sighed a sigh that came from her toes.
"Do you think I'm not cut out for this?" She asked frowning miserably.

Kez frowned as she spoke. His expression quite obviously voiced how displeased he was at hearing such a negative question from her again.
"Ashlle. Just look at yourself. We're merely covering the baby steps of swordplay, yet you can barely stand." he spoke as calmly as possible while watching her shaking wrists. This probably was too much for her to handle in one night.
"This is no different from any normal class; I can't overload you with information. If you're doubting yourself, or my methods, than we may as well stop this altogether." Kezaa muttered sternly, his eyes narrowing in annoyance.

Ashlle was quite scared by Kezaa's stern warning. It was very hard to predict when Kezaa was going to be severe and when he was going to be encouraging. Ashlle decided form now on she'd keep her doubts to herself. She drew herself up to her full height.
"Sir, no sir! I'll got through anything to get to the top sir!"

"Ashlle, I said this was a class, not the military. THere's no need to be so ridgid." he said with a sigh of exhaustion, more so from her strange habits than the training itself.
"Ashlle, just tell me what is on your mind. I know how a person's mind can wonder, especially when their bodies get tired, and I'm sorry for acting that way. Now please, just tell me the reasons you feel at unease." Kez cooed gentle, emploring her to explain with a gesture of hand.

"Well" Ashlle hesitated. She remembered now that to show weakness would get you only pain yet she yearned to tell Kezaa why she didn't think she would be able to finish the training. Still, the armor around her heart wouldn't fall without a final clanking and banging. Ashlle took a deep breath and fearing she might never get another chance, she told him.
"When I was In the Orphanages, they always said if you get tired doing something you were too weak to do it in the first place. The thing was they only said that to the girls, while they pushed the boys to the limit with football and things. I can sew a stitch so small you couldn't see it. I used to make all my own dresses. Even now if i get a hole in something I'll mend it till it's better than new. I thought I'd be good with a sword because it's like a large needle, but I'm so tired. The Orphanage would have kicked me out by now. Even my Finishing School teacher here in the Wizarding would says it's not polite for girls to fight, sweat or run. I - I'm so confused!" and she began to cry again.
"I want to be better than anyone else but what if I'm not supposed to be? What will everyone think of me? Am I supposed to be a Lady or a Fighter or a Pawn in some Hunting Game? Where is my place? Who am I???!! & Ashlle burst into tears.
She sobbed and cried for a long time. Then she sat down and began to rock back and forth like a child. I think I need the Counselor" she said softly.

"I see...." Kez whispered as he knelt down in front of her as she aquatted down and burst into tears.
"Ashlle, listen to me. There are two things that you should know about that orphanage. One, their concept of trial and error is severely flawed. No one can do everything they want without making mistakes along the path of mastering it. Secondly, those were their words from back then. I want you to listen to my words of the present. As your sensei and senpai (teacher, upperclassman), my words of advice are much more practical and realistic." Kez explained gently as he slid the edge of his index finger against Ashlle's reddened and sensitive cheek and catching a tear.
"Have you not ever heard the saying about getting back on the horse if you fall off its back? The same applies to anything you aspire to become perfect in. And I see MUCH untapped potential within you for swordplay. You won't be able to awaken it this evening, by any means. You must realize that just because you excel at one area doesn't mean you'll do the same for something else. Its human nature to gain through strife." Kez smiled and rested his hand on the top of the girl's head.
"Now, if you think of a sword as a needle, then I have a present to give you. I'll give it to you next lesson, if you think you're up to it, that is."

"O-ok" sinffed Ashlle. She tried to stop rocking and succeded but her tears wouldn't stop, still she gave Kezaa a brave smile.
"I'll be here just give me a date and time." she then looked around as if unsure of where the door was, but this action was explained a moment later.
"I don't suppose there is a councler, is there." she whispered.
