Ashlle gasped dropped the pate sandwich and the brown paper-bag and skillfully caught the sheath in the nick of time. Carefully putting the sword away she motioned to the sandwich that lay on the hard stone.
"That one will be yours" she told him. Luckily for Kezaa the sandwich was wrapped well in wax paper and sealed with Spell-o-tape. The salami she put on her side, then she passed out the rest of the food (fairly) and gave Kezaa back his sword.
"What's the history of you and that sword anyway?" she asked him before biting into her salami sandwich. "I mean, it seems you've had it for a long time."

Kezaa took the sandwich, tenatively unwrapped it, and took a couple of bites. His demeanor was scarecely phased when Ashlle asked about his weapon.
"That sword and I do go back a long way. Its nothing really special, but it was the first weapon my brother ever gave me." he said after swallowing, his voice lowering to just above a whisper.
"My brother was the protectorate of my hometown. We lived in the middle of a forest, and it was strewn with monsters. My brother was the only one strong enough to fight the likes of those beasts. The only monsters slain by that blade were when it was weilded by him." he said, occasionally stopping for a bite between his story.

"Oh, I see, now why it's so dear to you." said Ashlle also lowering her voice.
She had been eating her sandwich as she listened to him with wrapped attention. Taking a sip of her Butterbeer she asked; " Do you think your brother was a Hunter, or did he just do it for the village?"
The Butterbeer was Soooo tasty! She took another gulp of it to savor it's flavor.

"What need did he have to hunt them? They always came to us." he said, partially in jest and the other part with a faint grimace.
"I would not doubt for a minute that I am alive today because of Bryan. But....." Kez trailed off, feeling a slight ping of guilt from perhaps divulging too much. He trusted Ashlle, but the following details were just a tad bit complicated to just tell anyone.
"Anyhow, let's get back to training. I know you may be tired, but are you willing to bear with me a little more?" he asked with a bit of concern.

"Sure" said Ashlle putting away the empty food containers. When she was done she got up. "Kezaa, I didn't mean to pry, if I was. I'm sorry if I made you feel bad or pestered. I was just curious, no one ever talks to me you see." Ashlle then began to stretch to be ready for the next exorcize. They had been sitting on the cold stone floor and she was afraid of pulling something.

"Oh no Ashlle, none of that is it at all. Some things are just....better left buried, that's all." he reassured, taking a hand and running his fingers through his hair. Several particles of sweat floated about in the air.
""Well then, while you are stretching, I'll demonstrate for you your next aspect of swordplay." he said as he meticulously removed the sword from the sheath once more, and approached a wooden stationary practice dummy. Placing the edge og the sword against it, he made several swift but simplistic strokes, which looked as if it made nothing more than a few scratches. Howver, as soon as he pushed the blade back in the sheath, the dummy fell to pieces.
"Step two: Slicing." he said as he knowingly smiled to his pupil.

OOC: Your turning this into a Anime. Why are you turning this into an Anime? *LOL*
IC: Ashlle's eyes got as big as dinner plates while the rest of her face was forced into a comparatively small space. There was a large Exclamation point in a bubble by her head as well.
"Woah!" said Ashlle's eyes. Then her face when back to normal. "That's amazing. How did you do that? I want to learn that!"
OOC: check your IM(PM)'s I left you an invatation.

(OOC) Hey now, let's not get carried away. Kez is more than just a mere human, and I think he's entitled to his moments. (BIC) "Well Ashlle, all I can really tell you about slicing is that it is more closely linked to a style of art than a method of swordplay." he said as he balanced the butt of the sword onto his index finger, awaiting his pupil to claim it. "All I can tell you is that in order to slice successfully, you had better not focus so much on striking. Allow the edge of the blade to slide against it. Think of it as carving, but with much greater speed, accuracy, and pressure. Are you ready to try?" he asked, tilting his head towards her confidently.

OOC: Ok, so only you can be Anime-ish cause it's one of your powers as a demon? *Imagines Kezaa as InuYasha*
IC: Yeah, ok." said Ashlle taking the sword again. "But you just finished the dummy" she reminded him " are there others?" She looked around for some, but even though her eyes were by now used to the dark she didn't find any.
Of course that didn't mean they weren't there. Still perhaps Kezaa meant for her to try him again. That wouldn't be good. Mm Mmm, no it wouldn't.

Kez turned towards a nearby storage closet, with his wand drawn. He then muttered a basic encantation and twisted the doorknobb open. A mass of wooden training dummies which were haphazardly stuffed in suddenly tumbled out, scattering about the floor here and there.
"Alrighty. Take your pick." Kez said smugly as he gave his wand a small spin before letting it fall back in his sleeve.

Ashlle jumped back when all the dummies came tumbling out of the closet. However upon realizing they weren't dead bodies, she went over and picked out one.
She took it and set it up away from the others. Then she drew her sword. "Take that, you Arsonistic brat!" and she neatly slashed a cut across the dummy's chest. She then stood down and waited for coment or further instructions.
OOC: new word definition: Arsonistic - A person who is of the type to commit arson or someone who has committed arson and looks like they would do it again.

(OOC) Hmm, Nifty.
(BIC) "That's good." Kez said with his mouth full yet again, this time with the remnants of an apple. He swallowed the bite and continued his critique.
"Try using your feet more. Most of the time, slicing is not stationary." Kez then held the apple in his mouth and drew his sword, his fangs becoming evident as they effortlessly held to the apple. He then picked up a dummy and placed it close enough to Ashlle's dummy that she would be able to see.
"Also, slicing is also more sneaky than just slashing. For example, you probably won't even begin the motion until your blade touches against your foe, like this." he explained in-depth as he almost casually rested the edge of his blade at an angle against the sternum of the dummy. He then shifted his right foot (outward foot) next to the dummy's right foot. His motion was again too quick to easily percieve, but his follow through was easy enough to see as he wrought the dummy in two with his blade. The upper torso of the doll crumpled to the floor in a heap.

"Your scaring me." said Ashlle in a slightly monotone voice. Still she tried to copy what Kezaa had shown her. She slid her right foot next to her dummy foot and again tryed to slice through it. At first it didn't seem like she'd succeded, but then the dummy fell forward onto her left foot. "OW!!" she said hopping around on one foot. "I did it! OWOW!" The dummies aparently were all made of wood and heavy when they fell.
