ooc: Okay, I know technically she can't do this due to where she's supposed to be right now, but considering she's not all the way there yet... I'm allowing an exception just this once ;D

So here it was, the big day. The Head Girl's birthday. Hayzie had spent the last week getting invitations round to everyone in the castle, making sure those who knew Kalyn got special priority over invites and telling them to get there half an hour before everyone else.
It had taken the blonde girl most of the afternoon and a heck of a lot of charmwork to have the Dance Hall decorated superbly for the Head Girl, and one of her friends. After all, it seemed like she was going through a rough patch, and a party never hurt anyone, did it?
Bringing the banner up for the forth time, hoping to get the bright purple banner with white writing, reading: "Happy Birthday Hikalyn!" on it, Hayz concentrated and managed to get the pins stuck in the wall and keep it in place. Muggle methods never hurt to know.
Wheeling her chair back and inspecting the numerous, maybe overpowering, amount of decorations that hung from the walls, Hayzie nodded, and did the last spell, turning her jeans and tee into a light pink dress and curling her hair into small curls with small white and pink flowers decorating it.
Placing her present for her friend on the table, Hayzie simply sat back and waited for the guests, and the birthday girl herself, to arrive.
Hopefully they wouldn't be long.

ooc: Hope I'm welcome hehe ^^
bic: It had been a while since the nurse had been out since the birth of her twin boys. She had also not really been looking forward to the dress shopping side of things like she used to, in fear of finding out what her new dress size may be.
After gathering up the courage to finally go shopping, the nurse had picked out a gorgeous black dress, after all she had been told black was slimming, she hoped this was true. After modeling the dress in the mirror for a while she let out a sigh and decided it was time to start heading down to the dance hall. Giving her wand a flick her jet black hair coiled itself it to delicate soft curls and two frangipanis attached to a clip fastened itself to the side of her head. Walking from the mirror she picked up her black satin ballet style shoes and slipped one on each foot.
Heading out of her dorm room that she shared with the blue haired Hufflepuff, by the name of Carmen, she swept down the stairs running her hand along the rail. Reaching the Common Room she noticed the odd head rising to take a gander at the glammed up girl that passed through their space. She made it to the exit and slipped out heading for her destination.
Walking along the halls she soon came to the large doors that lead into the Dance Hall. Taking a deep breath she pushed open one of the doors. The sight that met her eyes was wonderful, her bright blue eyes lit up and a smile crept onto her dark red lips. Looking ahead she spotted the wheelchair of her dear friend Hayzie. "Hello my dear Hayz" she said stopping by her friends chair and smiling at the blonde "You look wonderful and you have done an awesome job with the decorating".

OOC: Absolutely not. ...What did you think we were gonna do, boot you? Hikalyn had never really made a big deal about birthdays--at least, not her own. Just another day of the week as far as she was concerned. In fact, considering the way her thoughts had been elsewhere for the last little while, had she not received a note from Hayz saying that she'd planned a "little something" in the Dance Hall, she like as not would have forgotten about it entirely. So early that afternoon, she rose from her chair in the Slytherin commons, setting aside the book that she hadn't really been paying any attention to anyway, and made her way through the corridors towards the Dance Hall, the uncharacteristic slack in her usually brisk stride reflecting the fact that, for once, she was in no particular hurry to be anywhere. She pushed open the double-doors to the Dance Hall, her amethyst eyes automatically doing a brief sweep of the room--and then she stopped, eyebrows raised. She hadn't really been expecting anything in particular, but defintely not something like this. The place was about as decked out as she'd ever seen it. Just considering the hours that must have gone into it made her head hurt. Realizing that she was still standing in the doorway, Kalyn gave a slight shake of her head and headed over to the far end of the room, where Hayzie and Kasey, the only ones so far in evidence, were situated. "Were we supposed to dress up?" she asked dryly as she approached her two friends, glancing down at her own jeans and faded sweater which made a sharp contrast to Kasey and Hayzie's finery. "Somehow I don't think I got that memo." The light, friendly smirk on her lips faded into a smile of true appreciation. "The place looks amazing," she added more quietly, the remark directed mostly at Hayz, whom she suspected had been the mastermind this whole idea. Then she turned her attention to Kase, who had certainly changed since last Kalyn had seen her--in more than just the colour of her hair, which was now as black as Kalyn's own. "Been a while," she commented, her voice light but still warm. "And you, Kase, I don't think I ever really gave you a proper congratulations..."

ooc: You could have bic: Kasey looked up as she heard the doors to the Dance Hall open. A smile crept onto her dark red lips as she saw the birthday girl herself. "Happy Bithday Kalyn" she said hugging her friend, "Thank you for the congratulaions" she said pushing a stray curl from her bright blue eyes, "Oh and before I forget" the nurse took out her wand which had been hidden in a small slit on the side of her dress, she gave it a twirl and a gift setteled in the Hufflepuffs hand. It was wrapped in dark purple paper and tied neatly with a golden bow "Here, for you" she handed the box to Hikalyn. Inside the head girl would find a silver necklace containing a number of silver balls, then a straight piece dangling from it.
