;{OOC-Invite Only, for now. ^.^ Sorry it's so long...! >.<};
BIC-Dark brown hair pulled back into two plaits whipped behind her as she raced down the marble stairs. Shining amber speckled pools of chocolate smiled as they followed the ever turning corners; how they glinted eagerly. This girl was as happy as could be, her giant grin couldn't dare hide it... yet... she knew something was wrong in her life... something that pinched and tightened her heart every day... but she had pushed those thoughts from her mind often, and went on being the happy little twelve year old she'd been. But something had been pulling her feelings back. The young figure subconsciously slowed as the giant grin on her face started to dim. The girl came to a full stand-still and just stood for a few moments, gathering herself. Then sneakered feet squeaked as she raced off once again, heading to the one and only place that could possibly do her feelings justice. This strange girl skidded to a stop at tall, wooden double doors, and grinned again. Her hands found the cold marble handles and they swung the giant doors open. The early morning light dripped off the tall windows on either wall, and hit the floor. Her eyes followed the light-dark pattern upon the hardwood flooring up to rest on the one thing she was craving.
A stage.
Her grin stretched as her chocolate, amber-specked irises rested upon that great stage. she raced forward, whipping out her wand and waving it, muttering incantations she knew from previous events. Strobe-like lights were darting about the room from their origin upon the ceiling, multi coloured and racing everywhere covering every niche and groove of the huge hall. The natural sunlight still shone through the windows, making the scene all the more intoxicating and beautiful to this girl. The toothy grin was now set in place upon her visage, and the figure raced towards the stage, giggles and laughs escaping her lips, into the air. And what appeared on the stage were a microphone stand, a drum set, and two guitars, with microphone stands before them. But what seemed to be missing were the people operating these instruments. Picks floated in front of the guitars, plucking lightly, and the turning pegs turned themselves. The drumsticks above the drum set banged the cymbals a couple of times and tapped the tom drum, too. Then there was a brief moment of feedback from the main mic and she laughed. It was like the instruments were their own persons. But as soon as this figure reached her destination at the wall opposite the door, her eyes were all smiles.
She scrambled up on the stage and got behind the main microphone stand and at once, the windows tinted to an extremely dark shade of blue, just about black (she cast a spell on the windows while running up), and the four spotlights found their way to the stage; one on the drum set, one on each guitar and one on this spunky little girl, while the whole hall, other than the stage, dimmed rapidly.
As the spotlight focused on her small form, it revealed what she was wearing. She had on a white in-formal long-sleeve, but it was a bit dirty and frayed, covered by a dark blue blazer, complete with a loosely tied tie, checkered with red and blue. Her pants were loose, dark blue, flared jeans and she wore green checkered sneakers with purple laces. She'd taken out her braids to reveal wavy deep chocolate locks of medium length hair. She grinned, an in an instant, it looked like she was in a ballroom...
The guitars started up and a voice erupted from the mic that was not her own, thought it looked as though it came from her vocal chords-but the voice was a older male. She grinned and 'she' said, "Are you ready, Steve?"
And then a voice, the voice of ‘Steve’ replied to her with "Uh-huh!"
She spoke again. "Andy"
"Yeah!"
"Mick?"
"Oh-kay!"
Then 'she' exclaimed, "Alright, fellas...
Let's GO...!!!!"
Then the lights zoomed about, again, and the room light up and the guitars raged and the drums beat into an intro, with clapping from the invisible 'audience' and the notes made the music from the song by the '70's British Pop band, The Sweet; Ballroom Blitz. Then Makira Blackthorne started to sing the song, (in her own voice).
"Oh, it's been gettin' so hard
Livin' with the things you do to me, uh-huh
My dreams are gettin' so strange
I'd like to tell you everything I see, ooh.."
As the next verse came up, Makira pointed toward the back wall, a random spotlight following her finger to a silohouette of a big man on the wall, with only his eyes showing; 'red as the sun'.
"Oh! I see a man in the back as a matter of fact his eyes are red as the sun...!"
Them Makira pointed to the corner, and the silouette of a girl appeared, sitting.
"And a girl in the corner, let no one ignore her, 'cause she thinks she's the passionate one!
Oh yeah!
It was like lightning!
Everybody was fright'ning!
And the music was so0oothing!
And they all started gro0ooving!
Yeah!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
And the man in the back said ‘Everyone attack!’ and it turned into a ballroom blitz!"
The man formed the words, and multi-coloured spotlights raced, each following a silhouette of it's own, and Makira laughed and continued.
"And the girl in the corner said ‘Boy, I wanna warn you, it'll turn into a ballroom blitz!’
Ballroom blitz!
Ballroom blitz!
Ballroom blitz!
Ballroom blitz!
Ohhh, I'm reaching out for something
Touching nothing's all I ever do
Ohhh, I softly call you over
When you appear there's nothing left of you, uh-huh
Now the man in the back is ready to crack as he raises his hands to the sky...!”
The same silhouette of 'the man in the back' raised up his hands, as the song stated.
"And the girl in the corner is everyone's mourner, she could kill you with a wink of her eye...!"
'The girl in the corner' winked and then red spotlights pointed out falling men and their cries and could faintly be heard.
"Oh yeah!
It was e-lectric!
So frantically hectic!
And the band started leaving...!
'Cause they all stopped breathing...!!
Yeah!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
And the man in the back said "Everyone attack!" and it turned into a ballroom blitz!"
Once again, the man mouthed the words and it once a blur of hectic spotlights and shadows.
"And the girl in the corner said 'Boy, I wanna warn you, it'll turn into a ballroom blitz!'
Ballroom blitz..!"
There was a small musical interlude, and she started dancing. Then, once it was over, she resumed her singing, loving it.
"Ohhhhh yeeaaaaaah!
It was like lightning!
Everybody was fright'ning!
And the music was so0oothing!
And they all started gro0ooving!
Yeah!
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!
And the man in the back said 'Everyone attack!' and it turned into a ballroom blitz!
The chorus repeated, the actions followed through yet again.
And the girl in the corner said 'Boy, I wanna warn you, it'll turn into a ballroom blitz!'
Ballroom blitz!
Ballroom blitz!
Ballroom blitz!
Ballroom blitz!
It's, it's, a ballroom blitz!
It's, it's, a ballroom blitz!
It's, it's, a ballroom blitz!
YEAH! It's the ballroom blitz...!"
Th smile stretched across her features was now immoveable. She twirled around a few times and danced about the stage as the song faded out.
