'A Formal Tea for Friends of Ashlle Rainier'

It had been a monumental effort but everything was finally ready for the First Tea the Rainier Family had hosted in many years. Of course, there was only one Rainier left but what did it matter really. The point was that the tea was an elegant and formal one.

The Dance Hall had been transformed. It now looked like a beautiful spring Courtyard with Birches, Apple Trees in full bloom and a Willow over in the right hand corner. Nestled in the center (amongst the tulips and lilies) was a long redwood table with a white cloth over it. On it the most scrumptious Tea foods were arranged carefully, along with china plates and cloth napkins.

Around this serving table small round white wicker tables had been set up for conversations and eating. Also Ashlle had mastered an advanced spell that made soft sweet music flow through the air like a breeze.

"Well, I must say It looks like a Formal Tea aught to." said Ashlle happily. She had dressed herself in a Pink silk with white riffles along the neck, sleeves and skirt. It may not go with her hair but she liked it anyway. Better than that sky blue one that looked like moths had eaten most of it away.

The light clunking sound of high heel shoes carried through the empty hall. If she hadn’t of known better, she would have just gone barefoot, but, she figured it was best to put high heels on. Although she had never been to any sort of Tea Formal, she had assumed she would have to dress, well, formal. She had been slightly taken aback when she received the invite from Ashlle, and had panicked wondering how she was supposed to act.

Her soft blonde hair was pulled up in a nice bun, with a few stray strands hanging down, framing her face perfectly. She wore a black dress, which fit perfectly, not to tight, but not loose; it came down just a little ways above her knees, and it was strapless. Of course, she could have put more effort into finding a more suited dress for the occasion, but, it was the best choice out of the few dresses she owned, and, she wanted to be at least comfortable whilst she was there.

Taking one last deep breath before she entered the Dance Hall, she slowly pushed the doors open. As soon as the newly decorated Dance Hall was in her clear sight, she gasped in surprise. It looked absolutely beautiful. Slowly she walked further into the room, letting her gaze wander around. “Whoa,” Was the only word she managed to utter, it looked so different from the last time she had been here; it looked so perfect.

Her gaze finally found its way to Ashlle, and she let a sweet smile play onto her features, “Hello, it’s a pleasure to see you again, Ashlle… It looks,” she paused, looking around slowly, “Wonderful… More then wonderful… It’s… Breathtaking…” Her crystalline gaze met Ashlle’s gaze once again, “Thank you for inviting”

[Bella]

The soft pattering or bare feet sounded through the halls as a small girl made her way to the Dance Hall. Bella's soft brown hair was styled nicely, sitting nealty against her neck, she wore a long, strapless, forest green dress, with a black lace over lay and a pastel yellow ribbon across the top. It flowed elegantly over her feet, she would have worn heels, if she owned any. Being a Faerie she normally went around bare footted and wasnt sure that she could walk in heels. Her multi coloured wings sprouted from her back and sat elegantly beind her.

Finally she reached the doors to the Dance Hall and pushed them open. As they opened she stared in awe at the transformation it had received. She let the doors close behind her as she walked down the path. Soon she spotted her friend Ashlle and another girl and made her way over, smiling happily.
"Ashlle, this looks amazing!" she said looking around at the Apple Trees, which where in bloom and the beautiful Willow's. Bella looked back to the pair and smiled to the other girl
"Hello, Im Bella O' Shay, Irish Woodland Faerie" her accent as always was soft and angelic as she spoke to the girl.

"Thank you Faith, for coming and for the compliments. The décor is all Chances doing but I helped cook and I Mastered the musical charm for this occasion. I wasn't at all sure House Elves knew what good music is. They have much bigger ears after all." said Ashlle smiling her hostess smile.

"Now then there are rules to this thing let me see if I remember . . . " And she thought for a moment. Then a dawning appeared on her face. She then curtsied to Faith.
"Welcome to my Garden Tea, I'm so happy you could be here. Now you curtsy and say how lovely it is of me to have you or something like it."

However before Faith could reply curiously and traditionally, The fairy Bella appeared and Ashlle had to welcome her. Again she curtsied.
"Welcome to my Garden Tea, I'm so happy you could be here." then she looked around to see that no Finishing school mistress was hiding in the bushes.
"I know, can you believe a House Elf came up with all of this? I suppose he's seen plenty of teas in his day though."

Morgan walked into the dance hall, grinning. She wore a low cut black and red form fitting dress, with a red insignia on the front A black velet choker was wrapped around her neck. She spotted Ashlle, walked over, and her body swept into a deep curtsy, long black hair spilling over her shoulders. "I thank you for inviting me Miss Ranier. Oh dear, it appears I have overdressed once again." she said, as she straightened herself.

Smiling at Faith and Bella, she once again curtsyed. "Pleased to see you two again." All that queenly ship was paying off.

Ark walked into the Courtyard/Great Hall, wearing a new tuxedo complete with a bow tie and shoes. The tux was stiff in a uncomfortable place but he could deal with it.

The splendid sight of the Courtyard stunned him. He couldn't believe that this used to be the Great Hall. As he took in the trees, blossoms, lilacs, and apples, he spotted Ashlle, Bella, Morgan, and Faith.

He walked over to them as briskly as a man in a tux could. He grinned at them and performed a sweeping bow and then straightening. All of those etiquette classes he took finally paid off. "Charmed to meet you three and you again Ashlle." he said in a charming voice.

"Welcome to my Garden Tea, I'm so happy you could be here, Morgan & Ark." Ashlle told them curtsying yet again.
"Oh Miss Morgan, Your not at all over dressed, though if this were real sunshine I fear those dressed in Black would be hot. Luckily it is winter outside, not exactly the weather one would choose for an outdoor Tea."

She then turned to smile at Ark.
"Oh believe me the pleasure is all mine. You look amazing in that -er- is that Muggle formal wear you are wearing? You look absolutely amazing! I didn't know one could look so good in Muggle clothes. I thought it was all jeans and T-shirts."

Ashlle then took a step back so they might all see her better. "I'm sure your wondering why I asked all my friends to tea. Well it is because I have met a new friend Cordela, and she wished to meet you all. I had to admit I missed hanging with you. It always seems that after I meet someone I never 'hang out' with him or her. So I arranged this tea, in the hopes that we could renew our ties."

Ashlle then stepped forward again.
“Did that sound all right?” she whispered, afraid she hadn’t been formal enough.

"What have I missed?" Protégé said, walking in late. When he had found out it was a formal tea, he had searched his belongings to find something formal, only to discover he really didn't have anything formal. It was not something he really liked, being incredibly formal and dressed up. However, he had managed to fine a nice white shirt, a black vest, and black pants. Unfortunately, he didn't have any other shoes besides his boots, so he just wore those. Not really that formal, but as close as he could get.

Walking up to Ashlle, Protégé looked around. "It appears that I am right in assuming I missed something, so will someone please enlighten me?"

Ashlle repeted the last parts of her speach for Protege.

"I have met a new friend Cordela, and she wished to meet you all. I must admit I missed 'hanging' with you. It seems that after I meet someone I never 'hang out' with him or her. So I arranged this tea, in the hopes that we could renew our ties."

Then she took Protege's arm
"Protege, you outfit intreags me. Tell me where you got it. I love the vest." and she felt the material.

[Cordela]

Cordela walked down the hall nervously, she never met the amount of people she was about to meet before. it was all so happy, she was making more friends everyday. but that still made her nervous.

she walked through thte doors to see the most beautiful scene she every seen. she looked around at the decoration and was in awe. she then started to look for Ashlle, there was already people there and then she spotted her. "Ashlle!" shouted Cordela happy as she picked up her royal purple dress and walked quickly to her. Cordela's hair fell graciful on to her shoulders in soft curls as she tryed to walk without falling in her high heels.

She was smiling like mad when she arrived where Ashlle was.

IC: Ashlle smiled curiously and went to bring Cordela to the front of the group.

"Everyone this is the Master Mind behind this Tea, Cordela. Cordela meet Protégé, Ark, Morgan, Bella & Faith. Don't worry I've had many more conformations so this isn't all there is." Ashlle said introducing them.

"Please feel free to get acquainted while I go see if there is going to be enough Ice Cream. Please Pardon me." and she went off somewhere behind the large willow.

Smiling, Morgan looked at Ashlle "You know me, Queen of Doom." She laughed. She remained quiet for the speech and the entrance of Protege. Cordela Walked in, wearing something so beautiful, Morgan was gaping for a bit.

Slinking her body behind the girl, her voice was sweet, "I believe we've met before, but nice to see you again." She said, stepping in front of the blonde, and curtsying.

[Cordela]

"I do believe we have, nice to see you again." she cursyed back and smiling.

"Thanks Ashlle." Ark said, glancing down at his tux more than once. He then turned to Cordela and bowed again. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Ark." he said, smiling. Turning his attention to Protege, who was walking in, Ark couldn't help but grin. "Love the boots Protege, I actually envy you. These shoes are a pain and these pants are quite stiff and uncomfortable." he said, grimincing for a second.
