"You're quite excused, I'm sure. But I've brought breakfast, you bustle too much sometimes Ashlle," the ghost said as a door opened and trays of food floated steadily in to the Wing for those patients who were awake.
"You have to remember to eat. I'm not sure if I have time to treat you for malnutrition as well as everyone else in here," she added.
"Are you feeling better this morning Sam?" The phantomess asked, following the tray of toast, jam, butter, and orange juice over to her friend.
This morning the long purple hair of the ghost was tied back in a sensible braid, and her face seemed rejuvenated - rested. All the tiredness of last night a mere memory.

Ashlle smiled and took one of the trays.
"Thank you Miss Shae. Don't worry I promise I won't become malnourished." She grinned and fining a chair, dug in.
The breakfast foods were delicious and Ashlle was finding she had a distinct liking for the school sausage.
Its funny, I don't think I've been back to the Common room for more than a fifteen minutes at a time this week. she thought as she ate.

Samantha smiled as she layed there. Rubbing the last feeling of sleep from her eyes she sat up and took the tray. "Thank you so much for all you've done." She said to the two of then as she drank her juice.

"You're most welcome" said Ashlle as she devoured her breakfast. It was very good and Ashlee did enjoy good food. When she was in the orphanages usually the food was too processed to even recognize, but here at Magic Horizons it was delicious and very fresh.
"You know if you wish to know what exactly is at stake here and what's been going on, I suggest you speak to Aylen. He and Sylph are organizing a program to get rid of the invaders." She spoke of it as if it were nothing of any great consequence. "I'm sure they'd love to have more volunteers and, I sure sleep better at night knowing I'm doing something to help get this place back on track."

Samantha looked over at Ashlle, surprised she had said anything about what had been happening. No one seemed to really want to talk about it, but Sam was glad for the tip. She didn't really understand still what was happening, and didn't know that she was brave enough to fight anything. Or talented enough for that matter. She needed to know more about what was going on.
"Interesting, it seems this school has been getting itself into a lot of trouble latly.." She said, sort of thinking out loud. Samantha knew that when she first arrived nothing like this had been happening but slowly the school fell back into a lot of bad happenings and was put in many dangerous situations.

"It has been, and Ashlle has been almost run off her feet. I think we've reached a kind of compromise though, she does the spells, I do the potions," looking over at her fellow nurse - for now - a rueful smile developed.
"Most of the time," she added.
They had had their differences when it came to medical practice, and what things should be applied, as well as how and when, but most of the time they got along pretty smoothly, especially when the ghost had a good, hot breakfast ready when Ashlle woke up.

Ashlle nodded at these comments.
"I try to obey Miss Shae as she has been her longer than me. Sometimes what I have heard about certain practices - such as never move a critically ill patients - gets in the way of what Miss Shae says and I get confused. But I do try my best."
Ashlle then finished clearing her plate and sighed, full. "That was excellent! I must remember to ask my House elves to get some of these school recipes for Rainier Castle. Most of this stuff is fit for a king."
OOC: Sam-sam, if you really want to know what's going on, Just ask a question! Ashlle's more than willing to answer any question you have.
