(OOC : This thread is the continuation of Stumbling In)
Jacklyn burst through the doors, dragging Kira with her.
She brought Kira to a bed and layed her down saying, "I'll be right back with a nurse."
"Nurse!!"

"Y'called?" Carrie called through, standing up dizzily off her swivvly chair and making her way into the Wing, not walking in a straight line at all. Shaking her head violently, realising that she actually needed to tend to someone, the brunette nurse gave the two girls a slightly lopsided smile.
Okay, one was on a bed, this was never good. Well, it gave her something to do besides paperwork which was good, but it wasn't good for the student. Doing up the buttons on her coat again, Carrie asked: "What's happened? I'm Carrie, by the way.. in case you didn't know.. but what's happened here?" Pulling out a medical chart and putting it upside down on the clipboard, she waited for an answer.

"I don't know, but she said she felt dizzy or something," said Jacklyn worriedly.

Kira could hear the girl who had brought her here talking to someone, who she presumed to be the nurse. The bed beneath her was soft, softer than anything she had slept on in recent memory, and she longed to just drift off to sleep. Questions flying about the room drew her from her thoughts, and she opened her eyes.
Blue gaze shifted hazily across the room as she spoke, saying softly, "Just a bit... dizzy."
Her right hand rose to her head, grasping as if she could remove the fuzzy feeling from her head. With no such luck, she continued slowly.
"Dizzy, and tired," she said, voice barely audible. Blue eyes closed once more as she rested against the pillow.

ooc: sorry, sorry, sorry!! I've been super busy, and it's all been up in the air and... I'm back? ;D
bic: "Tired and dizzy?" Carrie repeated, watching the girl's movements. Had she banged her head or something? Could she have concussion?
Sitting down on the edge of the bed, the brown haired nurse rested the back of her hand against the girl's forehead, checking for a temperature of some sort. "Okay, but before you go to sleep, can you answer some questions for me? Because if you've banged your head, I can't let you go to sleep just yet." Here, Carrie stopped, and turned to the other girl.
"Can you just go over to the sink over there," she explained, pointing to it, "Get a cloth from above it, and put some cold water on it for me? Just to try and cool her down a little," Smiling, she turned back to the girl. "Okay, what's your name?"

*OOC: Hey, I know how that goes! No worries- I was just thinking I had been forgotten. *BIC: Kira listened to the nurse talking to her, and then to the student who had guided her here. She frowned at the sound, brows furrowed over blue orbs, trying to make sense of the jumbled words. Eyes falling closed once more, she sorted slowly through what had been said so far, sighing slightly in relief when she made sense of the conversation. Realizing that the last question had been directed at her, she jolted back into the present. "Me?" she asked dumbly, quickly adding, "I'm Kira." She frowned once more in thought, bringing her right hand up to brush a strand of hair from where it was tickling her nose. She could feel the dried blood on the hand and winced slightly, reminded once more of her trip up to the school. "I don't think I hit my head," she started slowly. "I did fall a couple times on the way up the path, but I don't think I hit my head."

Ashlle, the Healer in Training, had been organizing the potions closet when the two girls came in. She had just emerged to get more potions to put away when she heard the comotion. Whileing her hands on her apprin to be sure they were pristeen she walked over.
"You seemed to have lost some blood. Do you remember what caused you to bleed in the first place?" If they could deturman the cause of blood lose they might be able to figure out in how much trouble she was in.

Kira cocked her head at the new arrival's question, frowning slightly.
"Like I said, I fell," she replied quietly, brow furrowed over sightless blue eyes. "I scraped my hands a bit, but that's all."
She held her hands out, palm up, for inspection.
"They really don't hurt anymore. I'm just dizzy, and tired."

Ashlle took one of the newly labeled potions from her pocket and a cloth from the table. Opening the Potion she put the cloth onto the top and tipped it upside-down, then right side up again getting the corner of the cloth saturated but nothing else.
Then she put the potion down on the table, took the girls right hand and gently swabbed the area with the soft cloth. The Potion was a common cut healing potion, this particulate one had the ability to draw out any impurities and poisons that may have gotten into the scrapes or cuts.
As Ashlle swabbed, Kira's scrapes began to disappear and the cloth collected the dirt and things that had been inside the cuts. Ashlle then repeated this proses with the left hand, using the other corner of the cloth.
"Is that any better?" she asked, hoping that she'd merely slipped into some wolfsbane or some such thing. If that was the case the Potions should have taken care of it unless it had already worked it's way into the blood stream.

Kira sighed as she felt the potion being rubbed onto her hands, feeling scrapes healing themselves. Forming a fist with first one hand, then the other, she smiled.
"That feels better, thank you," she said quietly. A short nod of her head sent another wave of dizziness crashing down on her, and she groaned, eyes falling shut. She leaned forward, cradling her head in her hands, waiting for the feeling to pass. When it didn't, she turned slightly to fall against the bed, curling up miserably atop the covers.
Head spinning, the sounds around her blurred together until there was no sense from words anymore. She lay there, oblivious to the world around her.

"Hmmmm," said Ashlle noting these reactions in a note book. Then suddenly her eyes snapped open wide. She grabbed Kira's wrist again and felt it delicately. Then she grew server. It was a sure sign that she was truly worried. "Young lady, have you been starving yourself?! And don't you tell me 'no' because I can tell - I knew a girl once who did." Upon getting no answer she tuned to Carrie.
"Please could you get the House Elf bell on Kasey's desk and ask for a hearty Chowder and some Pumpkin Juice? This girl needs Nourishment like, yesterday!"

Kira wrenched her wrist from the healer's grip, a growling slightly.
"No, I haven't been starving myself," she snapped, adding almost inaudibly, "At least, not intentionally."
She pushed herself slowly into a sitting position, noting happily that the dizziness didn't return, at least for the moment. She sighed, knowing it was past time that she explained.
"I've been on my own for.... while now," she started hesitantly. "Wandering, doing the best I can."
She scowled, the expression marring delicate features.
"I was doing OK until recently. I guess I slipped a bit, getting excited about maybe finding someplace to stay and all...." she trailed off uncertainly, blinking back tears with a muttered, "Sorry."

"Look" said Ashlle a bit impatiently. "Magic Horizons is definitely a place you can stay, it welcomes almost all Peoples and Creatures, but just because you like it here isn't an excuse to not eat! Quite literally if you wish to live anywhere you have to sustain your body."
Inside Ashlle was thunderstruck. How does one forget to eat? she thought, incredulous. It's like forgetting to swim if you happen to be in water over your head.
At that moment the things she had ordered appeared on a tray by the bedside. This surprised Ashlle but only for a moment. She quickly wheeled it over and put it before the patient. "I'm sorry I yelled" she apologized "Please take some nourishment, won't you?"

Kira turned away from the harsh voice, feeling tears welling up in her eyes once more. A few tears washed over her cheeks, roaming slowly down to drip off her chin.
Swiping angrily at them she took a shaky breath, turning back to the healer.
"I'm sorry, it's just..." her voice cracked and she hid her face in her hands, trying to regain her composure. With a soft shake of her head and a sigh, she looked up once more, ignoring the tears rolling down her face.
"I've been on my own for so long," she murmured. "No one has ever wanted to help me before. Just...."
She allowed her voice to trail off, registering the other girl's words in her head.
"Please take some nourishment, won't you?"
Shakily, she reached her right hand out, feeling for the tray she knew was in front of her. Fingertips brushed against a spoon, knocking it to the floor, before she located the plate and proper utensil. Movements slow and cautious, she began to eat, relishing the taste of her first meal in a long time.
