Ashlle lead Ariel to the Hospital Wing, wondering why she was up so late at night. Ashlle had a pass to be up this late, as she was the Temp Head Nurse, still she wasn't about to turn the girl in without a good reason. "So what were you doing up in the Astronomy Tower at this time of night? I was pretty sure everyone was a sleep and that Astronomy class was canceled, that's why I decided to gather now." Shew wondered if the girl would have any excuse at all. This thread is a continuation of : mgckalhrizn.proboards35.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=astronomy&thread=1126567683&page=1

"Hmmm," said Ashlle in reply to Ariel's remark. She could tell there must be something that Ariel was not telling her but decided not to press the matter. Instead, she lead Ariel to the back room and handed her a Mortar and Pestle "Will you be so kind as to help me grind this stuff up?" she asked. "If it's aloud to sit too long it gets hard and eventually turns into a crystal like substance. Just take a bit out of the basket then cover it back up tightly. That will make sure it's soft for as long as possible." Ashlle then demonstrated this, by grabbing about half a fistful and dropping it into her own mortar, tightly resealed the basket with the cloth then grinding it with the Pestle.

Ashlle was surprised at the speed and precision with which Ariel ground her whole basket of Moss. She would obviously be a very good potions student.
"Now, without letting it touch anything else poor what you've got into this jar." She said handing her an ingredient jar. "Once I've finished mine I'll put it in the jar too and then I'll seal it up and we can have a late night snack. How does that sound?"
She smiled. If only someone like Ariel would get into trouble and get sent to her as a detention. Ah well, it seemed that no one ever got in trouble in these troubled times.

"That sounds most lovely, if I do say so myself. After all, who couldn't resist a late-night snack?" said a cool and casual voice, belonging to a new person in the room who had decided it quite convenient to show himself to the little girls playing their childish little games as though naught could harm them. Yet the false sense of security they seemed to find in the weak walls of their petty little school were quite insufficient to prevent anyone of adequate power from entering to do them harm. They looked very young to Israfel, and it was apparent they could be no older than 12, maybe 13, most definitely not exceeding 15, yet long it had been since he had felt the touch of time and as such he could not be absolutely positive or a person‘s age anymore. Nevertheless, he has his orders and would do what he came here to do without fail, as much more was at stake than the lives of a couple runts.
"Now now, I must ask, is it not much past your bedtime?” he asked, sounding very much amused as he spoke to them, as of yet betraying no hint of evil intentions, “Little girls should be in their beds at this hour of night, for they need their healthy amounts of sleep. Leave the midnight hours to the big boys and girls, as there are bad people out there in the dark of the night who might wish harm unto petty children. Those who might wish them injured, or worse. Those who might wish them dead.”
“People who just might be,” he paused, as if in deep thought, concentrating upon the answer to a question on the fringe of his memory, “Me.” he said, with a hint of finality to his voice, while his hand strayed to his belt, resting gently on the hilt of the weapon that resided there.

OOC: Oh for Pity's sake . . .
BIC: Ashlle turned quickly and drew a surprised breath. Unless she was hallucinating a Vampire had just snuck up behind her. Some Hunter she was turning out to be. Goddess would this stuff never end? Ashlle never wondered the hall's without at least three of her hunters weapons concealed on her body. Unfortunately with all the things she had to choose from in her Hunter's truck it was hard to know what to bring. She'd obviously made a mistake in thinking she'd be mostly safe from vampires in the castle Still she was not totally unprepared.
"Sir, I must ask you to vacate the premises." She said reaching for something in her robe pocket. "Surely you must know Head Mistress Claire and Head Mistress Rose's rules about your kind coming inside the castle. Simply put, it is forbidden. Please do yourself a favor and do not get put on my Hunters List by hurting us or anyone else in this castle."
Some people would think Ashlee was being far too calm in the face of a Vampire who for all intense and purposes had threatened them with his last sentence. How ever Little did anyone know that she was a Hunter 9th class for the BFC, (Black Forest Church) and that During the Summer she had defeated the Demon Prince Lahral. Despite appearances she was a calculating killing machine, Capable of far more than her small, Second Year body looked like it could accomplish.

Fae was hurrying back from the Quidditch Pitch, from a late flight. Cheeks pink, she was grinning like an idiot while practically skipping toward the school. But her grin faltered when she reached the Entrance Door. It was already dark and she'd most probably get detention if caught wandering around at those hours. She sighed in frustration and took out her wand. She whispered a quick 'silencio' at her feet. She looked despectively at her Nimbus 2001. 'It'd only slow me down; I need to get to the common room as quickly as posible,' she thought appologetically, while shrinking her broom. She placed the now tiny broom in her robes pocket, then put her wand back in the cuff attatched to her right wrist. It was a leather cuff adorned with silvery snakes, that her cousin had given her last Christmas. It was charmed, so only she could get it off and her wand would always come back to the cuff when called. She opened the doors as quietly as she could, and stepped into the school, bitting her lip and trying not to make any noise. As she was walking into the shadows trough the dim litted corridors, she almost ran over a dark figure. Her breath stopped and her heart started beating faster. He was comming closer, closer... She was about to be discovered... He walked past her. Fae stifled a gasp. In the fleeting moment that he had passed her, one of the torches had iluminated his pale skin, the dead features, the unnaturaly gleaming eyes, the pale lips... A vampire. Inside the school. Heading toward the Hospital Wing. Fae released the breath she hadn't realised she was holding. She had seen the determined look on his face and she thought she already knew why he was inside the school. She sighed in frustration, then started walking as fast as she could toward the Hospital Wing. Damn this stupid war, and damn her curiosity! She finally saw the flicker of something black and slowed down her pace. The vampire didn't stop, but walked without sensing her. She sure was happy with this, for she knew she'd be dead in less than five seconds if discovered. He continued sliding trough the corridors with amazing easyness and speed. He stopped when reaching the Infirmary doors and entered without making the slightest sound. Fae was becoming slightly envious of his silent ways, but stopped herself before actually forming that thought. `Don't think, just act´- that was the main rule when dealing with a vampire. She repeated it in her head like a matra, because she knew that that way he wouldn't spot her. Fae stopped in the Infirmary's door frame, while the vampire spoke. She smirked at his sarcastic and sort of chilling voice. Something she liked about vampires: their sarcasm. So she had been right. He had come to kill someone. The redhead was a smart one. She apreciated that. She had some nerve, being so ruthless to a vampire, when she probably knew that vampires like playing games. She smiled. Good for her! Fae got out her wand and placed her left hand on the door frame, leaning into it. She waited like this, ready for the moment to come. The moment she'd be discovered.
OOC: Whoa, long post. Got a bit carried away...

That moment, though no matter how long it could've been held off, came sooner than expected. A white hand crept along out of the darkness behind the doorframe and gripped Fae's shoulder. Illuminated by a pale glow was a second Vampire - this one shorter than the other, and looking exceptionally younger as well. This Vampire, who went by the name of Romulus, looked nigh older than 14 years old. His eyes were a steel silver color, seemingly iron wrought in their sockets. His hair was incredibly dark brown, almost black, wild and untamed. His bangs fell down in locks, covering over one of his steel eyes. His clothing, based on the first Vampire's wear, was almost uniform. A black trenchcoat, leather in make. It was both standard, useful, and fashionable - the trenchcoat was made to serve its purpose, not to look good.
Like his trenchcoat, most of his wear was black. If one had even paid any mind to his base, his footwear was as deadly as the pale claw that reached out onto his prey. They were made of steel, and covered in leather, so as to both protect his feet - woe was the one who tried to step on his foot - and serve as a simple way to crush something. A smile lined his face, though it was not malicious, or even triumphant. It was calm, clear as a pool of fresh water. His silver eyes flickered as his grip became slightly softer. "Hi," he muttered softly to her, "I'm sorry if this is any trouble, I simply wanted to go through here." His flashing eyes looked downward to the wooden stick in her hand, and though he had been a muggle throughout his living life, the Vampire knew quite well the dangers of a Wizard's staff. "Ah, I'm sorry..." He repeated, his other white claw twitching and stretching forward. He grabbed the wand by its end, and went to pull it away from the girl. "Don't hold it out like that, that is dangerous. Someone might get hurt!" With his smile slightly turning to a frown, he opened his mouth once more.
"And that wouldn't be good for either of us, now would it?"

Carrie had only had a few weeks vacationing from her job to go and see some friends back home, and even though she knew the wing was in the hands of a temporary nurse, Carrie had a feeling that she would be okay.
And by the looks of things, everything was going well. Apart from the fact there were not one, but two vampires in the wing that Ashlle's and Carrie's careful eyes watched over. Obviously there had been a bit of weakness that night.
Almost gliding into the wing, not batting an eye lid at the two males, but smiling slightly at Ashlle and the two girls, Carrie put her suitcase in the office calmly, pulled a labcoat on quickly and turned to face the five in the room, her brown eyes watching the vampires intently, almost challenging in a way. "Now, gentlemen. I realise that it is late in the night, and I realise it is dark outside, but I always thought it was in your very best interests to stay out of the castle, and it is most definitely in your best interests to stay out of the Hospital Wing. I presume you know this already, so there must be another reason for you being here. So, how can I help you, gentlemen?" she spoke, one eyebrow raising as her arms folded in front of her, nodding her head sideways at Ashlle to get the two girls moving at least, and into the back area of the hospital wing.

Fae's features mirrored the vampire's smile for a fleeting moment, then her face turned stony again. What the hell was Azrael thinking, sending not one, but two vampires here? She inwardly sighed. ' Let's play a game...' "Oh, I don't know... Some may want to hurt others, unlike you seem to think," she answered softly, trying her best not to show her anger. In her mind, she smirked at him and thought, ' Good. Now play your part and tell me why're you here!' She knew she had thought this a tad too... demanding for the vampire to actually give her a straight answer, but she was getting bored of these tell-tale games. Fae's eyes went huge as a third girl stepped trough the door. "Damn," she muttered, hoping no one would hear her, "this night just keeps getting better and better."
OOC:...And writer's block.

OOC: A wand is not a stake and I thought I said we were in the back room . . . oh well . . .
OOC: Ashlle still having not received an answer from her and Ariel's Vampire, decided she wouldn't show him what she had in her pocket just yet.
"Well?" she asked in a calm but peeved voice. "You know I'm not getting any more alive here, and I'm sure you guys have much more important things to do down at the village where people aren't protected by the Headmistresses."
Ashlle was all too aware that the Heads hadn't been looking out for many of the students as much as they usually did. It seemed they were occupied by some other forces now-a-days.

Giving a quick smile at the girl in the doorway, Romulus whispered softly, "Well I'm sorry if you wish to hurt someone, but do not hope to hurt me, hmm?" before pushing her gently aside and stepped within the back room where they were all so gathered. "My most generous and incredibly talented lady," he bowed deeply and mockingly to the brown haired nurse. "Our business is between our Master and us, their men. It is quite important, and it is also taking place right here, in the school which...I am terribly afraid...is just as unprotected by your Headmistresses as the Village." Total disgust was in the word 'Headmistresses'. It was the kind of disgust one puts in a word of utmost vulgarity, giving a sense that only drunkards and brats spoke of such things.
The anger that licked his voice seemed to be growing in his silver eyes. "No, my ladies. There are no Headmistresses to save you now. I call out to them now. If there are any 'guardian Headmistresses' that would leave their grand halls to save you, I call them out!" A look of satisfaction glazed his pale, glowing face. "Save me Headmistresses! Two evil Vampires are attacking us! Please! Oh Please! Help us!!!!" With a chuckle, he glanced up at Israfel again. "Aye. You are fools to depend on authorities to save you. Save yourselves." The anger disappeared, returning to its usual, calm demeanor. He shook his unruly hair, and brushed his hand with his face. With his eyes closed, he muttered again. "But hopefully...there will be nothing that you will need to be saved from. My colleague is simply overexcited, he, nor I, wish to attack you. We have been sent to retrieve one of the students, who supposedly fashions herself here in this medical facility, her name is..."
He flicked his white claw into his trenchcoat pocket, and pulled from it a single, yellow slip of parchment, as small as could be. "Ashlle G. Rainier." He looked up again, glancing from each person to the next, with the look of a person gazing out of the top of a book. "Ashlle G. Rainier," he repeated again, "Do you know who she is? And if one of you happens to be her, I'd recommend standing forward now, and avoid future conflict."

Fae smirked a bit at the vampire's gentle ways. Huh... Who would have thought? She feigned massaging a bruised shoulder, watching the scene in the infirmary intently. She frowned at the vampire's anger. 'Show no emotion!' She thought, but he had already changed his tone. Ashlle G. Rainier. Ashlle G. Rainier. Do you know who she is? And if one of you happens to be her, I'd recommend standing forward now, and avoid future conflict. She tried raising an eyebrow, but ended up raising both. Really, did he honestly think she'd just step out and offer herself to him? And besides, what with all this asking fuss? Did he even bother to read the nurses' name tags? She sighed. Incompetent idiot. 'Look at the blasted name tags! It's the redhead,' she thought, directly at him. Shifting her weight, she extended her right hand and murmured "Wand!" Her wand flew from the vampire's grip to her arm. She smirked at them all. "My most sincere apologies. I just thought I might need this sometimes soon..."

Ashlle sure was popular with immortals as of late.
Raising a brow as the mocking male spoke, Carrie nodded once. "I see. And do you really think that we are incapable of taking care of ourselves, Sir? Beleive you me, the school I went to did not allow you to graduate whilst still incapable of taking care of yourself in any situation.
"I suggest you leave here in the next thirty seconds, especially if you'd like to avoid future conflict," she smirked gently, brown eyes meeting his almost in challenge.
