A figure seemed to glow as the light from outside the large windows in the hall draped her, catching in her pale, thin, wispy, blue robes and snowy hair. The light seemed to inhabit her, using her body to cast its manifestation further into the darkness of the stone castle. At times, first year students would step back in surprise when they came across her, like they would do with the ghosts that would suddenly appear out of thin air. Her paleness made her seem almost ghostlike in the dark, and to her dismay, even vampire-like. Though the look in her eyes was all too human, her deep blue eyes were too warm and alive for any other sort of creature. This was Astraea Romani, Professor of Transfiguration and bound to be frequent visitor of the Hospital Wing.
She gently placed her slim, pale hand on the door handle almost cautiously and pulled it open slowly enough that it made no noise unlike the numerous other doors in the school. Surprisingly, the Hospital seemed quite busy. Students occupied the beds along the wall in various positions of discomfort or relaxation while nurses tended to them, walking back and forth, handing out medicines or casting minor healing spells.
Romani had wandered deeper into the room, but as she saw that it was quite busy, she considered walking back out. She tooked a step back and felt herself get slighly dizzy again, which only reaffirmed her reason for staying. Was there anyway to heal her? She had never been a healthy person and more than likely, there'd be no way for her to be a normal woman... but was there any possible help to alleviate her weakness? She had been given a Lotus flower today by one of her students during class. A flower that was supposed to have a type of magic that could possibly be what she needed... Romani looked around for Nurse Kasey, hoping to discuss a possible treatment with her.
