Jadore ran into the hospital wing. She had gotten lost on the way and was pleased to have finally found it. She opened her cloak and placed the small silver-gray pup down on a medical pup. Stroking it she called out for help "is there a nurse here? This pup is sick" She hoped she had gotten here in time to save the little pup from the fate of it's family.

Carrie had been consuming numerous cups of coffee and was trying to count the number of hours sleep she had had over the past week. She could count them on one hand. Three. The brown haired nurse had been settling down to try and rest for at least an hour during the evening when a panic stricken voice shatterd through the peace.
A pup? Could it be another of the tunnel Lycans? Babies had been appearing there a lot lately, and Carrie had dealt with one of them before... but as she stepped out of the office, and tightened the elastic holding her hair back, she realised it was a pup she hadn't seen before, and yet one that looked quite ill. Accompanying it was a Gryffindor girl Carrie had yet to meet.
"Hi. I'm Carrie, one of the nurses here," she introduced herself, hiding a yawn, whilst reaching to the top of the cupboard for a Lycan treatment kit. Quite a few came through the Wing who were unable to treat themselves, and so the MH medical team were always as prepared as they could be. "Can you tell me what happened?"

Jadore jumped a little as the nurse appeared behind her, catching her breath she shook her head 'no'. "Sorry, I don't know. I found him in an Alley: his mother and the other pups were dead. He's sick. I know. I can feel him fading away. Can you help him?" her eyes begged the nurse to do something.

OOC: give them time, the girl who plays Carrie tends to get busy and she lives in the Uk so sometimes she is not on at all the normal hours for the rest of us

Serin lay still on the bed his only moement being the ever shallowing breaths he toke. His eyes were still sealed shut. What scared him beyond the pain was the noise he heard, both outside and inside his mind

ooc: Sorry, Jadore! Things have been a little on the hectic side lately!
bic: Carrie nodded, listening to the girl's story and taking everything in, making mental notes to come back to later on if need be. The pup was so small... Shaking her head, the brown-haired nurse came back to the situation at hand and nodded again. "Okay, I'll do what I can," she promised, opening her bag of supplies.
Listening to the breathing of the pup to begin with, Carrie took out a smaller than average breathing mask and attached it to the grey pup's head, hoping it would help. Until the little pup woke up, and Carrie could see into its eyes, there was no way of telling what else was wrong.

Jadore learned over slightly to peer into the nurse's bag, and was slightly annoyed when all she produced was a breathing mask. When Carrie had put it on, she looked up to her, a shocked expression on her face. "Is that all you're going to do? Can't you tell he's dying?" she almost shrieked. Kneeling down a little, so her head was level with the bed she began to hum a little song to him, trying to keep him calm, however her gaze was steadied on Carrie, and it warned her to do something, and NOW.

Serin's mind was to young to understand what was happening. All he knew was he was hungry and hurting all over. The silver running in his veins felt like knives slicing threw each vein. He yipped almost non stop now. Small tears forming in his eyes as the pain was so great. The sound of people moving and yelling were all around him but he had gotten use to that but now his senses seem to be getting sharper as a form of more torture. When the women screamed he flinched as the sound felt like a spike threw the ear.
His little chest moved slowly up and down as the air mask poured air into his lungs. He was able to breath but that was not a good thing, the more air in his system the faster the silver would reach the rest of his body. As the Silver neared his heart his body felt like it was being crushed and pulled apart at the same time.
The little male pup was on the edge of death. His soul preparing to live this world. He knew only pain and now, and he could no longer hear his mother's heart to keep him calm and feeling safe. The loneliness of it all seemed to be unbearable. Then he heard it, the sound of a voice, he could not tell words or meanings but the tone was soft and calm and the words seemed to not hurt his tender ears. The voice sang out to him calming him, it was so familiar he had heard it before but when and where he couldn't exactly comprehend either words but he knew he had. The sound of the gentle song making his body relax, and seemed to ease the pain.

"Hey I never claimed to-" Carrie started, her eyes welling up a little. Those words hurt, and the cold glare hurt even more. She was still fairly new on the job, and treating the magical creatures that roamed around the school had not been the one which detailed Lycan healings.
Shaking away the hurt and saving it for ranting to Kasey about later, Carrie took the vial and nodded. "Thank you," she whispered, pulling a syringe out from the bag of bits and bobs. Popping the seal with the needle before sucking up a fair amount of the liquid. Silver poisening, of couse. What else could it have been?
"Okay little guy, just stay still for me," Carrie tried to sooth, probably to no effect, before putting a gentle hand on his back, hoping to calm the shaking down a little. It didn't work, but the brunette nurse was able to inject the liquid into the right vein. Pulling the needle out gently again, Carrie bit her bottom lip. "All we can do now is wait.... I think."
ooc: Thanks...
