A young girl of about 16 walked into the library with her head down. She had no idea why she was going into this room as she had never bothered in her old school except when she had nearly set it alight in her first year. But that hadn’t been her fault.
She had been mucking around with her wand and it had ignited some sparks and they had hit a book. Luckily a friend that was sitting with her in the dark corner where they were hiding in knew a spell to get rid of it and repair the damage. Alexis loved the fact that most of her friends had turned out to be in higher years. She didn’t even have many friends in this school. Just a handful and nobody she could call close.
She walked over to the book shelves and looked at a hundred books that all looked the same to her, rows along rows just sitting staring at her. She realized the only reason she had come in here was from boredom. She wished so much that she had her old friends with her. Except Catherine, coz if she was here Alexis thought she might resort to using one of the unforgivable curses.
Alexis had been planning Catherine’s demise in her day dreams since that day she found out her best friend had betrayed her, all because of a damn boy. Catherine was sure to die painfully and horribly, maybe by being doused on flammable liquids then set alight. One day. One of her day dreams led the two meeting up for a nice “talk to batch things up” after years of not talking. By this stage the dark lord had come back and Alexis was by his side. Alexis then, while the two were talking would pull out her wand and make curse her with different hexes that would put permanent scares and boils all over her face.
If ever her guardians ever found out about Alexis’s ambitions they would lock her away in a loony bin. They were other people that she wouldn’t mind getting back at. They had never cared about her. They only adopted her to look good. All they ever did anything for was for appearances. As soon as she had been old enough, they had sent her to the most far away boarding school.
Alexis smiled as she thought about her many plots and thought she should start writing them down in a diary or something as a part time thing instead of letting herself get so bored she resorted to coming in here. Alexis had passed her classes through copying her home work from her older friends in her old school. Though she knew she couldn’t do that here she had been able to get most of her work from the others in the common room that just left it lying about. Best thing was Alexis had a photographic memory. So one glance at a thing and she could remember it clearly.
Finaly Alexis picked up a book and looked it over. It was a book about different spells and things that could be useful in the future so Alexis took it over to a seat and sat down and opened it up on the desk. She scanned over the page. Her blond hair fell across her face as she looked down at the book in front of her. Her pail blue eyes looked over each word properly so she couldn’t get a single one wrong.
