Tariq was new to MH and wanted nothing more than to succeed in his studies and have a comfortable atmosphere to do it in. Tariq decided to check out the library and see what books would interest him, seein as he only read when he found a book he liked. Tariq had never been in a magical place before, not even somewhere close to this one.
He hadn't seen anything too magical yet but he was sure to prepare himself for anything. Tariq walked around the library pursuing an exciting book that would open his mind to the fond mysteries of the world. Tariq turned down a random isle and skimed the shelves. Suddenly his steps came to a hault and his burgendy eyes locked onto a gold colored book. "Hmm..." He said curiously.
Tariq was usually a visual person, he wasn't to keen on what the introduction in a book was. He prefered a good cover. He took the book off of it's shelf and looked at the cover, it had a picture of a woman with a wand. She was dressed like a goddess and a man was by her side with a wand also. He took the book to a cozy corner in the library and layed down, opening the book and reading it above his face.

Persephone was once again finding herself holed up in the Library. Not that that was a bad thing, because it wasn't. In fact, the Library was a lot like her second home, and most days you could find her walking around the shelves staring up at heights her five foot body most surely could not reach. Her emerald eyes would scan shelves looking for books that she hadn't read, or ones that had always been her favorites. She'd returned to check out some books more times then some people actually stepped into the Library. And no one made fun of her either. It was just taken that that was Persephone, and if she wasn't in the common room or out on the Pitch, then she was up here in the Library.
Sighing deeply, Persephone found herself hovering at eye level of a bookshape. Well, not actually hovering, more like she was standing on a stool that was hovering because she was too short to reach it. This was one of the many inventions that Persephone had cooked up in her spare time in the common room while on Prefect duty. She'd always enjoyed having that time to play with things and enchant them to help her out.
Sephe ran a hand through her long silver blonde hair. It fell in cascading waves down to her wasit, and her ivory skin gave the picture of some sort of mortal goddess. Her frame was short, but willowy, and she looked almost too fragile. Any one that knew her, knew she could take more then a few blows, but that wasn't something that Sephe found herself advertising.
Just out of Persephone's reach was a leather bound book. It was written in fancy gold writing, and there was no picture on the cover. Still, what the book read was enough for her to pull it out. The Myths and Legends of Magick and Muggle. A promising book. Sephe pulled it down, lowered her step, and then headed off to find an empty table.
To her disbelief, all the tables were full. Sighing again, she saw a table where only one boy sat. Hopefully, he wouldn't really mind her company. If he did, well that was too bad. But then again, she could always head back to her common room for some "light" reading. Still, chances were, the Ravenclaw common room would be just as noisy as any of the corridors, and most possibly, the Great Hall.
Thinking it was polite to ask, Persephone walked closer to the table and when she got close enough, opened her mouth to speak.
"I hope you don't mind if join you. There's no place else empty, and I don't really think I'll bother you."
Still, she waited for his response before she took a seat.

Tariq slowly looked up from his book and saw the golden haire girl in need of a seat. "I don't mind. Go ahead." He said scooting over so she could sit down, he continued hs reading but wondered if she would sit next to him. The library had a death ridden silence and it was perfect for a reader. Tariq hadn't been in a place so silent in a long while.
His mind was creating the images from the book inside of his mind and making things all the more interesting. He was looking forward to getting into some classes that intersted him like this book did, which was alot.
OOC: Sorry for the crapy post, my muse has been kidnapped >.<
