Ark shook his head again. "I had them look at it earlier. Besides, Aidana needs the most help. I want to know what happened. I can't remember anything. At first, I thought I was going insane. Then I thought it was a dream. I believed that until just now, so now I want to know where my memories have gone."

Sylph looked gratefully at Makira.
"Thanks, mate," she said, her voice still tired. "I'll come visit you lot a bit later, ok?"
Closing her eyes for a moment and pinching the bridge of her nose Sylph wondered briefly what the hell was going on with everybody. Then she remembered that that was why she was outside the head's office in the middle of the night talking about shadows. Maybe she just needed to sleep on it... but no. This was important. Bad things were happening, and someone with authority should know about it. She opened her eyes and turned them upon Ark where he sat slumped against the wall.
"You can't remember anything?" Sylph asked him, frowning slightly. "I heard your voice in the forest, Aidana was there too. And some people I couldn't recognise by their voices." Sylph paused. There had been another voice in there that she had found familiar. A girl, but she couldn't think who. She shook her head. Now was not the time.
"I'm afraid we can't help you," she told him. "We don't remember anything either, and I don't think Hayzie was even there." Sylph shot a tired grin at the blonde girl. "the headmistress obviously isn't answering, maybe we should talk about this tomorrow, in the light things might look different."
She still wanted rid of Ark. She wasn't sure now if her suspicions about him were the right ones, but she couldn't talk to him right now. Too many people. If only she could get her, Hayzie and Teagan away to somewhere else...

Aidana was suprised to see so many people concerned about her. Sure, this was worse that that other Forest incident with the nymph, but she was still surprised. She slowly lifted her head to see Ark looking at her with genuine concern. He still seemed to be friends with her, yet not so...
Thats odd... she thought. Sylph was over there trying to take control of the situation, but it looked like no one was paying attention.
" Yes, let's go...Ark. You come too, those cuts could be healed. They're worse that what that vampire did to you," she said in a hoarse voice. Next to her, Makira had put an arm around her to support her. Nodding to both Makira and Aylen, Aidana limped down the hall.

Makira smiled at Sylph.
"Yeah, no problem, mate." She turned back to Aidana. "Let's go."
She smiled at her as she helped her friend down the hall.

Ark stood up, trying hard not to glare at Sylph. "I know when I'm not wanted." he said evenly as he turned to help Aidana. He looked over his shoulder at Sylph one last time before finally picking Aidana up and began to walk to the Hospital Wing, determinded to help her. "Sorry 'bout this." he said Aidana, a bit embarressed. But this was the fastest way to get there because she couldn't walk very well.

Sylph looked apologetically at Ark as he left. She was truely sorry that she had offended him, but right now she just couldn't deal with it, with him. Things were getting too crowded for her to think properly. Once her four friends had disappeared down the corridor, she turned to Hayzie and Teagan, somewhat at a loss as where to start this story. She rubbed her head a little, trying to stave of the tiredness that was rapidly falling upon her.
"I don't really know what's going on," she told Hayzie. "Maybe we should just start from the beginning. Tegan might remeber more than I do, but here's what I can tell you.
"I was outside on the grass reading this afternoon for a bit, but after a certain point, my memory just goes blank. The next thing I recall is waking up on the grass, feeling rather bruised, and it being dark. Aylen was there, heading for the forest, where he seemed to think Aidana had gone. I could hear Ark and Aidana in there together, with lots of other voices, most of which I didn't recognise. I went in after them, but this huge shadow barrier thing sprang up. So, then I came up here to tell the headmistress what was going on, and well, that's it." Sylph knew it sounded lame now she had said it out loud, but she still had the feeling of an impending storm brewing out there in the woods.
"What do you remember?" she asked, turning her bright eyes upon Teagan.

((OOC: Sorry for taking so long. I had to make up a lot of school work.))
Teagan watched silently as Ark was finally convinced to go to the Hospital Wing. Obvious, aren't we? she thought unamused to herself. Ark didn't want to go, and was very determined not to. He simply didn't want to be too odd acting. Teagan knew he would come back as soon as he could, probably with some excuse to be there. To see the headmistress about his memory loss? How do we know part of his memory was erased? None of us were with him, and we don't know what happened in there. She observed how Ark was acting. He was focused and seemed to know what he wanted. He's lying, thought Teagan without simpathy. When you loose your memory, you're baffled. He didn't walk over here confused. He didn't seem as if he had any intention of talking to Headmistress Claire when he first arrived.
Teagan's eyes with a genuinely worried expression followed them out of the hallway, but it was good that Sylph also choose to keep distance with Ark. He was going to keep an eye on them. We'd might cause something he wouldn't want, she thought.
Teagan impatiently listened to Sylph's story, but wasn't giving any attention. She was looking up and down the corridor and into other ones. They needed to find the Headmistress before another person showed up and got curious.
Sylph just drawled on about everything that was already known. The only thing new was that she'd was that'd she'd gone near the over-sized shadow, and couldn't get through. "What do I remember? I remember that you need to shut up, and we need to speak to Headmistress Claire. That' what I remember," stated Teagan rather rudely. She was becoming even more impatient and irritable by the second. After all, she could be sleeping right now or dealing with that all-so-annoying object that never seemed to do as she wanted. "By the way, Ark was lying to us."

I remember that you need to shut up, and we need to speak to Headmistress Claire.
Normally Sylph would have punched someone in the face for saying something like that to her. It wouldn't have been through anger or annoyance or hatred, just a simple gut reaction to deal with the rudeness. She sometimes showed very violent tendencies. It wasn't something she was proud of, just something she couldn't stop. Fortunately for Teagan, Sylph managed to catch her arm before it even raised, though her fist seemed to be unable to unclench.
"Alright," she replied through heavily gritted teeth. "Fine. I was just telling Hayzie what I remember. She did ask what was going on, and in light of the fact that I don't know what's going on, I figured I'd tell her what I do know.
"You, on the other hand," she went on, "clearly do recall something. Claire isn't here, or has been struck deaf to our knocking, so why don't we pool what we know between us to figure out something to tell her that makes a little more sense. You're a Ravenclaw aren't you? Use your common sense! We're on the same side, act like it!"
Sylph paused for a moment, finally managing to unclench her balled fist, although it made a short burst of cramp shoot down her fingers rather painfully.
"How do you know Ark was lying to us?" she asked, more civilly as she relaxed. "I mean, something's up with him, sure, but how do you know?"

Hayzie had just been about to intervene when Sylph seemed to take the grown up attitude and continue to be civil to the red-headed Ravenclaw. The blonde had listened carefully to the explination she was given, but was unable to make head or tail of it. Suddenly, her head was spinning, trying to piece the puzzle together before all the pieces were laid out.
Stop it Hayz mentally scolded herself, shaking her head lightly, as though getting rid of some cobwebs.
"Okay, so let me get this straight," she started, trying to remember what Sylph had said. Hayzie kept her voice lowered as she spoke. "You were on the grass, then everything goes blank. Then, you're on the grass again, but hurt? Then a... barrier of some sort appears? And you came here?" she questioned, trying to sort it out in her head before making any other suggestions.

Sylph shrugged, a slightly apologetic look on her face as she turned to the prefect.
"That's about the size and extent of it," she said, glancing harshly at Teagan, knowing full well that she could add something to all this. "A little lame, I know, but something is wrong out there, I could feel it. And wasn't the other headmistress - Rose - wasn't her memory erased too? It happening to so many of us can't be a coincidence, can it?"

Hayzie shook her head. It wasn't coincidence. There was no way it could possibly be. But Rose had disappeared, too. For over a month, there had been nothing found of her. The Ministress had been saved, but the Headmisstress still remained unseen.
"No, you're right," the Prefect sighed, rubbing her temples to get rid of the up and coming headache she knew was knocking to get out. Not now, not now, not now.. the blonde chanted to herself.
Looking to the Ravenclaw, Hayz asked: "Is there anything you can add? Because in all honesty, if there is, then it would be great for you to tell us now. There's enough going on without information being held back, okay?"
Usually, Hayzie wouldn't be so authoratitive, but this time, it couldn't be helped. Stubborness was not an excellet quality to have at times like this.

OOC: *prods Teagan* We're waiting on you...
IC: Sylph looked at Hayzie, noting her tenseness. Maybe, like Sylph, she was just tired and confused, but at least Sylph had someone who believed her. She smiled a small smile, though she didn't really feel like doing it, and waited patiently to see how Teagan would respond. So far the Ravenclaw had been a mixture of downright rude, forthright and secretive. Sylph didn't get it. How could someone so honest about some things want to hide things from people who needed to know and wanted to help? Sylph was also sure that Hayzie knew more than she was letting on about the darkness that was hanging over the school, but for now she didn't press the lycan girl, being more interested in what Teagan had to say.

It was true that Hayzie knew a little more about what was going on, but not enough. So far, the evidence against anyone was proving to be almost useless to their cause. In a way, it annoyed her that after so long, so little had been found out.
"Right," she whispered, the word seeming to spring out of her mouth before she could notice how often she had said that there was nothing useful that she had said so far. However she would wait to hear Taegen's side of the tale before revealing her own.

OOC: Sorry. I had to finish this box-thing for art class. It was do on the 13th, but I missed a lot of days.... IC: Teagan glanced at Slyph inquisitively. She wasn't one for emotion, but they actually hadn't thought about the possiblities? Of what could happen? Oh, well, she thought. I suppose I'll tell her why I told her to "shut up," afterall... Sylph wasn't too pleased about that. Teagan did remember much more, but not here. Now was not the time.
"Ark's lying because he knew what he was doing," she stated flatly. "And whatever erased Rose's memories was much more powerful than what happened to us, though they probably are related. Usually memory charms are used on muggles when they see something they shouldn't, but students and headmistresses are completely different. I don't think it's legal. I've also never heard of an entire lifetime of memories being erased in one go. Whatever was used on us only erased an hour.. or two, or something." Her voice faltered. Teagan didn't only remembered parts of what happened, and she couldn't remember hearing anything unless she heard it again. The same words, at least. She didn't remember the time she had gone outside or anything like that.
Teagan noticed the prefect was getting a headache. I know how that feels..., she sympathized silently. Her eyes once again became hard and unfriendly. Her red eyes blarred back towards Sylph.
It appeared everyone was waiting for her. "Why don't you use your common sense? You realize that anyone could be listening?" said Teagan rather annoyed. "Someone wanted us to forget it for a reason, so don't let them know that you know. That's why you had to stop blabbing." Teagan itched her left arm. There were no cuts from the forest on it, even though her sleeve had been torn quite badly from the forest incident. It was the same for the rest of her. Teagan relaxed both arms again, her right hand still casually holding her wand.
