Curiosity bubbled inside Starlit as the Professor was asked outside by a slightly... different looking individual. She couldn't quiet put her finger on the reason she thought the appearance to be odd, but she did.
Feeling the odd sense that something was going to happen she doodled patterns across the page, every so often glancing upward at the door. Minuted ticked by, the sound of her small wrist watch seemed far louder then it was. Hearing something a troubled expression crossed her face as Rezna said that something was blocking the door.
This theory was tested and confirmed, but why there was no problem with it only a moment ago. Straining to hear something, anything she heard a low thumping noise, followed by a shattering howl and repetitive banging against the door, it began to crack, somebody wanted in.
Drawing her dark colored, willow wand from her pocket she stood gripping it tightly. Then the door gave way, splintering. Through the archway appeared an eight foot tall wolf. A lycan? she thought having never been un-fortunate enough to see one in this form.
Listening to the threat of the being in front of them she could not help but wonder how a normal seeming Divinations class had turned into this. Keeping her mouth pressed firmly the fourteen year old stood up, blue eyes glancing around, for something, anything to use to her advantage.
Listening now to the Hufflepuff prefect speak she could not help but feel relieved as a bottle of silver zoomed past Starlits head. Silver of course, she thought and waited to see what would happen. Fear and tension clutched at her stomach, though she tried to keep a calm expression.

The wolf's eyes narrowed as he glared at the prefect; so she thought that she had won that easily? Just because there was a vial of liquid silver in her hand; she thought that she could even challenge Fenris Fenrir in any form? This girl would have to be taught especially well and then the warped brain inside of Fenris' head came up with a most excellent plan. With a popping of a few bones and the erection of the spine from it's horizontal position; the raven-haired man stood before the class once more. But he did nothing; he just stood there staring at the girl with the silver vial. And then the features of his face contorted and soon maniacal laughter could be heard from inside the Divinations classroom.
"Excellent!", boomed Fenrir in between fits of laughter and clapping his hands, "This girl surely knows what she is doing. 5 points for a quick reaction time and use of one's surroundings. But I hate to say this; but there is much more to be taught in this curriculum. Lesson number two..." And with that Fenris dashed straight for the girl what had the vial in her hand and batted the hand away with such force that the vial popped out of the girl's grasp and the contents settled onto the stone floor. With the same hand that had knocked his bane away; Fenris grabbed the girl by the collarbone and press her down against a nearby desk. Leaning close to the girl; Fenris whispered, "Clever of you girl; but such things can get you killed and you wouldn't want that would you now? Of course you wouldn't; but that is what I want."
Letting go of the rebellious girl, Fenrir strode back to the center of the class to continue his "lessons". "Lesson number 2; know everything there is to know about one's foes. This girl did well; but she has forgotten that fear only holds the weak in place. I don't fear her nor did I the silver. I was enraged that she would stoop that low; but this is the real world and that is sometimes the only way one can survive. But now back to what I said earlier; alway knowing how your foe works, what your foe likes and you to counter your foe are key to survival. The only problem is; I know all too much about you. I can break your body in seven different ways; I can kill you in 27 seconds if I slit a certain artery. I also know that you human scum fear things that you don't understand. Well then it would be wise to fear me; for I am not a normal lycan; I am an abomination. So fear me."
"For for this next lesson; I would like to have a student volunteer. You don't want me to come and choose one of you myself do you? Because in this exercise there is nothing to lose....unless you value your limbs", ended Fenrir with a grin; one that showed only the beginning of the damage that he could inflict. "So step right up little students; I won't bite...that is unless you want me to."

This is unreal. I just wanted to go to class...
She took a deep breath, looking at her own prefect. She clenched her own wand, but wasn't sure what to do with it. She wasn't even a good wizard. Eventually she decided that she would have to use it if he made a move. Thoughts raced through her head, to fast for her to grasp. She put a stern, brave look on her face, but she didn't feel that way. She wanted to throw-up.
I bet he killed the porfesor...
"Leave them alone." She finally hissed, standing up slowly. "You shouldn't be here. We want to live our lives peacefully. We did nothing to you."

Her eyes instantly narrowed as he laughed at her- did he find this whole thing funny? She didn't- he was obviously crazy or mad in the head somehow. But she didn't have time to stop him as he came charging towards her, and the vial began a slow decent towards the solid floor. She could do nothing but watch as it smashed, leaving behind a small pool of silver that collected in the space between the floorboards. Perhaps that might be to her advantage.
And once again, she was left with no time to react before being thrown into one of the desks. The man leaned in... close, too close, as she tried and struggled to pull away from him. Her face showed no expression- not of pain, not of fear, and not even of hope. Inside, she was simply calculating what she knew that she had to do next.
"You wouldn't kill me." She replied, her voice unusually low. "From what I can tell, you wouldn't kill anyone. All you do is come in here to cause trouble and pain." She didn't mean to goad him on, but what else was she to say except what was really on her mind? Squeezing her eyes shut for a quick second, she tried to envison what needed to be done next.
The best plan would to be to rescue the professor, but Faye was actually suprised that she had been taken so easily. Probably had been shocked by the sudden appearence of the lycan- but things such as him no longer shocked her. She'd already seen him once before, destroying the Great Hall and trying to kill a second year. Hence nothing that he did could really shock her. And when he announced his next lesson, she knew what needed to be done right away.
"I think I'd like to volunteer." She said, taking a few steps towards him again. Her wand was still in one hand, though it was lowered by her side. If anyone, she was the one who was best able to take whatever he could dish out. And hopefully, the longer time went by, the better the chance of her coming up with a plan that was a bit more logical.

The door heaved under her and her first reaction was to support it from giving way. She wasn't sure who was behind the door but she was sure that their Professor did not have such strength in her. As the door cracked, Rezna was spared the unpleasant sensation from being buried under the wooden mass with a push from Faye.
Getting up, Rezna's eyes fell on the largest animal she had ever seen. Hearing his voice in her head, she figured that he was no animal, but a lycan. And lycans had two forms. So he had to be the man she had seen earlier, the one who had taken their Professor outdoors. Glancing through the opening where a door used to be, the girl's green eyes fell on a crumpled figure of their teacher and a woman.
Clenching her teeth, Rezna reached into her pocket inside her jacket for her wand. The woman did not help the fallen Professor, therefore she could only be a foe. But before Rezna could react, Faye's voice, a crash of glass, and the lycan's voice made her spin around.
How had all this happened. What on earth did these creatures want from the students, Rezna did not even begin to ponder over. Drawing a deep breath, she felt proud at Faye's courage. Still, she wasn't going to let her fight this lycan alone.
"Forgive the interruption, Professor," Rezna said coldly as she walked over to where Faye stood. "But would you be so kind as to answer a few questions of mine? I promise to be as polite and respectful as I can possibly be to such a brutal monster as yourself. If we are human scum, then what does that make the human version of you? You came in here in human form, did you not? Then do you consider a part of yourself scum; do you think a part of you is weak?" Rezna's eyes bore into the animal with such fury and anger that no trace of fear even glimmered on her face.
She planned to delay his next lesson the best she could, not wanting Faye to be a sacrifice. Besides, they needed time, time for the other students to figure something out. They needed to get their Professor medical aid and to find a way to keep the lycan at bay. Rezna knew that whatever they did they had to do it soon, while they were still able to fight.

The demoness was simply listening, watching. Smiling at any crack heard from the professor. Then she lost consciousness, falling to the floor, a dull thud heard in the abandoned hall. She eyed the lycan, trying to figure out what he’d do next. Even though she was sent to ‘help’ him, the demoness didn’t like to help – she liked to do. Anyhow, the lycan didn’t seem to need any help ‘demolishing’ the professor. Honestly, Xailyn thought Amy – being a professor and all – would have tried to defend herself more.
The lycan approached her, bending down from his incredible height to match the demoness’ level. “Count me in… If the professor does wake up, she isn’t going very far…” The demoness replied, her tone basically unreadable. She wasn’t sure what he was all about, so she didn’t offer too much. After the lycan left, she stayed behind, eyeing the unconscious professor, scanning her bloody features. It didn’t take Xailyn long to realize the professor wouldn’t be moving in a short amount of time.
Idly the demoness walked into the classroom, she had heard what they were talking about, their voices weren’t hushed. She shut the wooden door behind her, her gloved hand lingering on the doorframe. The demoness watched amusedly as a few kids stood up, some saying brave remarks, others volunteering for whatever lesson the lycan had planned. Her eyebrows were raised slightly, her eyes following the sound of every new voice.
Xailyn moved slowly over to a chalkboard, taking a meter stick from it, and walking to the back of the class. She was here for any assistance, which didn’t seem to likely the lycan would need it. Of course the demoness didn’t need a meter stick – or any weapon for that matter, she just liked to have something to hold onto, pointers preferably in a classroom.

She gave Faerlain a look, but backed down. It wasn't that she wanted to be a hero, she was, in fact scared out of her mind, but she had her moment of showing that she was no child. That, and she was prefect. A figure of authority she supposed.

So now the humans decided to resist Fenris; starting with the reply from the clever girl and an outburst from a blond. Well; this was starting to become a worthwhile enterprise; and he had told himself that morning that he was bored out of his mind. Ha; well, now for the games to begin and all would all start with those that stood against him, but not to fear; those that tried to stay quiet would get to play as well. It was only fair. With a wink at the girl that had tried to cow him into fear with the vial of silver; Fenris stauntered over to the newest upstart while saying, "Well, well; aren't you the inquistive one Miss? Do you think that I came to teach you that? I have not; there are greater lessons to be learned this day, but now that you have taken the floor; perhaps you should be the volunteer. In fact, I think that you shall."
In a matter of seconds, Fenris Fenrir stood towering above the girl and shook his head sadly as he easily grabbed the blond around the throat with one hand and started walking to a window. These humans would never learn would they; never provoke Fenris for he might just act on what was said against him. The one girl said that he couldn't kill them or that he couldn't bring himself to do something as easy as that. Well; the demonstration would help these imbeciles of brats see that Fenris was more than capable in the arts of Death and Destruction. Once he reached the window, he opened it with his free hand and let the girl dangle in his choke grip.
"Lesson 3 and pay attention class, unless you all want to be used in today's lessons. See your comrade? Well watch her carefully; either her dies from lack of oxygen or the muscles in my arm grow tired and I let her fall. So you dared to doubt that I couldn't kill? Did you think that I was a mere lap dog trained to bite but never end a life? Well you will see that you were mistaken if you thought that; because your friend will only have minutes to live. Unless....", said Fenris said was he held the blond out of the window, "Beg; beg like you have never begged before. For there much be much that you will miss in your life if you die this day. Graduation, marriage, starting a family, watching your childern grow up..."
But there Fenrir's monolauge got cut off as his eyes lost some of their fury, and it seemed for a moment that he actually had a heart inside of that cruel and sadistic body, but he quickly snapped out of that small trance and leveled his gaze at the blond. "Now; beg whelp", said Fenris with a sharp bark in his voice, "Or I will tighten my grip. And then again I could just let do and watch you fall. So beg like the scum you are. Or you will fall into oblivion and find what your maker really looks like."

Rezna watched him advance on her, every one of his steps mirrored in her eyes and mind. An echo almost, as if time was slowing down to the bare minimum. Her green eyes took in his face, so contorted with malice, happiness, anger, almost as if every emotion imaginable could be found there.
His had enclosed around her throat, and the strength with which he raised her off the floor was not one she could fight against. Instead, she fought for breath while keeping a strong grasp on her wand. She listened to him, catching only bits and pieces of what he lectured her over.
As the man opened a window and thrust her outdoors, Rezna felt her breath catch in her throat in mid breath. He was going to kill her, she knew he would have to, to prove his point. If he did not, then the others would find strength to resist him, strength to fight. Or perhaps if she did die, then they would decide to flee. The woman who came in around the time the lycan attacked her did not interrupt. Perhaps if they ran while he was distracted with her they would live.
These thoughts filled Rezna's mind more than those of a family or of children of which Fenris spoke. After all, no matter what she did, her life was ultimately in the lycan's hands. Surprisingly, Rezna was beyond fear, for as the oxygen flow ceased to reach her brain, thinking was becoming more and more difficult.
The pitiful look in his eyes was not registered in the quickly dying Hufflepuff's mind. She only heard his voice as her eyes grew shut.
"Now; beg whelp."
This she would not do and could not to. No, Rezna was too busy focusing her mind on one thought, one word only. Raising her arm by pure will, Rezna pointed her wand at the face of the lycan. Her green eyes fluttered open and she looked into her would-be murderer's eyes.
"No," she shook her head , for her mouth hardly opened. "Relashio!" she gasped out, pointing her wand at his eyes, the eyes that looked at her so fiercely. Sparks burst out of her wand as the final breath and the rest of her magical strength left her body with the word. She was happy that she had enough strength to complete that spell, seeing as any other more affective ones would have been beyond her.
Hardly a second had gone by after the spell was uttered before the blond girl extended her arm and allowed her wand to clutter to the ground barely making it inside the classroom. Rezna's life was now hanging on a thread as she wrapped her free hands around the lycan's arm. She tried pulling herself up for breath or better yet, she hoped to hold on to him once he released her. Still the one thing she had not predicted was how much strength her oxygen deprived muscles could give her. She found she could draw no more breath and held her last one for as many seconds as she could.

Xarian watched with wide eyes. Why did he come to this room on this day. Just to kill everyone in it. Did he have something against the teacher? Against this class. Was he just a random evil? She didn't want to beleive that. She saw him flinch. She saw him stray, if only for a moment.
"You would kill children? Kill a girl that you just admitted wont get to do all those things. I do not doubt that you will kill us all, that you could. I do not doubt that you haven't killed before and wont kill again...what I doubt is your willingness. You've shown you can kill us. You also just showed you don't want to. Something in you dosn't want to...so don't. Let us live and show that you aren't a lap dog at all. One trained to kill or bite."

Faye didn't protest as Rezna stepped up beside her, adding more logical lessons towards his little rampage. She was trying to prey upon his weakness; trying to appeal to the one side of him that still remained human. And it was a wise thing to do- at least in some aspects. Because she was right. No matter what else Fenris was, he wasn't entirely a wolf, nor was he entirely a man. However he was almost killing half of himself every time he killed a human- for that was a part of him still. And, at one point, he was only human too.
Only human.
She watched and could do nothing as he grabbed Rezna. Well, she could do something, but that would be taking a risk. If she were to directly attack him and fall unconcious, then the rest of the class would be left defensless. By protecting herself, she was making a desperate attempt to protect the others. However, that didn't stop the hurt that crept into her eyes as he dangled her fellow 'Puff, nor did it stop her from reaching out one arm, as if she could just knock him over without even moving.
"I find it pitiful." She began, advancing towards the window with her wand suddenly raised once again. "Pitiful that you would kill just to prove your point. Don't you have eternity to do that? More than a human lifespan, that's for sure. You stand to gain nothing but a bigger ego through her death. So bring her back inside."
Her eyes suddenly brighted, however, as she took note that Rezna had the wisdom to try and hit him in the eyes. She suddenly leapt forward, dropping her wand and taking advantage of his temporary blindness to wrap her arms around his neck as if in a bear hug from behind. Her foot then lashed out and kicked him hard in the ankle, trying to topple the great man and hopefully cause him to fall and drag Rezna back inside.
Nobody would die. Not on this day.

Persephone knew automatically what was happening. The same thing had happened at the wedding, and even though she had ran then, she now felt like fighting him. He had attacked the innocent, the unwilling, and now she was prepared...though scared to death.
She watched asthe blonde was pushed and shoved and mass chaos broke out in the classroom. And he had dared to ask them to whelp. Maybe that was what pushed her over the edge. Maybe that was what forced her into action. Honestly she didn't know.
She would stand up though with the Hufflepuff prefect. She knew what would happen if this all didn't work, and she tried desperatly not to think about it.
She walked behind the man, her small size giving her an advantage. Her green eyes shone clearly and brightly, such undying fire lit her eyes. She waited though. Waiting to see what would happen now...although she feared the delay might cause more problems, she dared not make a move yet.

You would kill childern......
........
Show us that you aren't a lap dog at all.....
Those were the words of one of the students and they struck where it hurt Fenris the deepest; they had found their mark in his heart. He had always wanted form greater form of acceptence; he had always thought that by proving to the world what he could do; he could be accepted though not in the best of ways. The small amount of child-like wonder flashed in Fenrir's eyes as he blinked rapidly so that no tear would soil the floor. So, these humans were trying to tear him apart with morals and other such nonsense. Well it was working much to his dismay. Fenrir thought of those few things that he cared for; the pups Cealla and Alissa. He had almost killed them both and in a way similar to that of the blond that he was now stripping the life out of.
'Stop it!', roared Fenrir in into the minds of all, 'Make it stop! You don't know what you are doing to me! Fools! Imbeciles! For the love of....'. But then something older entered into his mind; his task. And had made an oath to the Master that he would accomplish any task given to him and he would not fail again after the last time. But now his mind reeled in agony as his Master seemingly hurt him for thinking such emotional thoughts. They were not necessary to the mission; therefore they had no use.
But as Fenrir's indoctorined thoughts almost broke and let out the small sliver of humanity in the beast, the blond that he was choking weakly shouted something and before he knew it; he was staggering backwards in shock, but he also teetered forward from now and then as his vision slowly returned to him. What made things worse was the fact that someone jumped on him from behind and started to throttle him in turn. With his one free hand he tried to free himself of the hidden pest, but he couldn't seem to find his attacker's arm. With ragged breaths and gasps for air, Fenris used his other hand that was choking the blond girl in an attempt to break free of the assailent's choke, but it only caused for the blond to fall out from where she had been held; out of the window and into the abyss.
Now with both of his hands available, Fenris Fenrir found the arms of his attacker and roughly threw himself backward onto the floor so that the arms around his neck let go from the force of the impact and allowed the lycan to breath. Swallowing large breathes of air, Fenris walked over to the window and looked down to see if the girl that he dropped had splattered on the Grounds below. Instead it seemed that she had been lucky and landed on a windowsill that was not far below from where she had been dropped and only a small pool of blood was visible from wounds sustained in the fall. But that one would live as well, provided that she didn't roll off the window sill on her own.
Stiffly turning to face the class, Fenris bluntly said, "Lesson number 4; never tell the teacher how to teach the class through any form of means. Because that tempts me to madness and now our little friend has taken a tumble. So sorry about that."

She'd seen it again. Though the voice inside her told her that she wouldn't be safe doing this, she knew someone had to say it. It seemed to be his only weakness. "You have human in you." She whispered, her green eyes large and shinning with innocence. "I see it. I feel it. As much as you scare and hurt, there's human in you. There's intelligence. Why do this to us when we've done nothing? Why kill innocence for someone that controls you? Why be controlled? You're a Lycan. You should be wild and free...not a pet."
The words felt strange to her, almost as if she was helping her attacker, but she keep going. She could feel it, feel his humanity. "Leave us to live in peace. We'd never hurt you. We wouldn't hurt anyone. We're children. Little girls."

Fear. The feeling hit the faerie with such a strong force that he nearly stumbled. The faerie straightened, his six-foot figure tense, alert. Something was wrong at the school. He knew it. The feeling was saturating every cell in his body. His violet eyes remained focused and impassive. Without warning, his dragonfly wings buzzed to life, sending dust motes scattering for cover. The wind whipping through his black locks, he sped towards the school.
As he traveled towards the Divinations Classroom, he heard a voice in his head. Though he dismissed the sentence’s meaning as useless, the fact that he had heard anything at all gave away what was causing trouble. Lycan. He would have to be careful. He had experienced a lycan’s anger firsthand, and he was not eager to do so for a second time.
The faerie streaked past the window so fast it was hard to tell what exactly had sent the papers on the teacher’s desk floating to the ground to an unobservant eye. During that split second, his sharp vision had already caught all he needed to know. The older human unconscious on the ground, the smirk of the older male, the frightened faces of the students...and the blonde girl on the window sill. She was in the most danger, and therefore, deserved his attention first.
His first action was to shatter the window adjacent to the girl’s sill and lay her gently inside. There was no risk of falling to her death there. Someone would have to take her to the Hospital Wing, but he had no time. Whispering a silent apology, he soared back to the classroom window.
“I assume you are the teacher here?” he asked the lycan. His voice was quiet, but had the quality of gripping one’s attention tightly. He nodded quickly to the Ravenclaw student as an apology for interrupting her conversation, if you could call it that. “Please excuse me for interrupting your class. However, I cannot allow this to continue.”
