Anna listened closely as her friend described to her what Angelus Morti might mean and Anna bit her lip as she did so.
Well, Anna, I can't really be sure. Angelus might mean 'angel' because they do sound similar. As for morti, I'm not sure. It's similar to mortal, and a mortician is a director of a funeral home. Maybe it means something along the lines of death or dying.
Anna's mouth opened slightly, for she was truly astonished that she didn't think of this before. Then, of course Anna knew Rezna was sure to ask this one dreaded question she hoped might pass, but it came. Why'd you ask? What happened that has to do with those words?
Anna sighed and looked up at Rezna. "Well, it's a long story," Anna started out, but she knew she should tell Rezna, because she might be a big help... and they were friends, so she deserved to know. "It started at my two friends, Jordan and Larissa's wedding. Everything was going great up until a demon, a lycan, and a nymph showed up. The demon, I knew, named Telah... but the lycan and nymph, I didn't know. The demon and the lycan fought eachother, and the nymph added towards it, but not much. But, in the end, the lycan won and the demon was left on the ground, ribs cracked and he was almost dead. The lycan took blood from the demon and wrote Angelus Morti on the table with it." Anna informed her friend. "But that wasn't all. I had fainted, for I almost always faint at the sight of blood. But, the couincidence was, Professor Windwaltz came in, just before I fainted. Tod was there too, he's Jordan's brother." Anna started again, and pointed over to where Jordan was sitting.
"Well, Professor Windwaltz must have told Tod to take me to the Hospital Wing, which is where I woke up next. Then, out of nowhere, a demoness came into the Hospital Wing and 'maimed' me. I felt so cold, like... a feeling someone might get if a dementor was around. It hurt too, I felt so useless, and paralyzed. But soon, she let go of me. Tod tried to help me, and he ran out with me in his arms, but she stopped him. She grabbed me again and broke both of my arms, and just let me fall to the floor. She took some of my blood and wrote the same two words on the wall, Angelus Morti, and she left," Anna finished remembering that painful night.
Anna looked up at Rezna to see her reaction to the whole story. But, she went back and thought for a moment about Rezna's explanation of Angelus Morti. Angel... death... Then it hit her, it was obvious after what Rezna had told her. "Rezna, you don't think... it could possibly mean... an Angel of death?" she asked seriously, hoping she was wrong, praying she was wrong.

ooc: Oooh. Angel of Death. Wherever did you get that idea? >< *points to "Angelus Morti" in Graveyard* Ironically, I actually figured this class to take place before Jordan and Larissa's wedding, seeing how Talon would still be looking for Azrael if it occured after. >.> Anyway. Class time? IC: Talon listened intently the banter of the students in front of him. Though, of course, it was technically none of his business, his presence at the very 'wedding' had made it more interesting to his ears. Humming to himself to make it seem like he wasn't paying attention to the students' conversation, he let the thoughts of the students roll through his own head. Before long, he realized that he had withheld the class for far too much time. Standing up quickly and clapping, he spoke loudly. "Everyone! Sit down please, class is about to begin!" When everyone was seated, Talon stood out in front of his desk. "As you can all see before you, there are now textbooks on the tables. This implies, as you can tell, that we will be doing a bit of reading today. This however does not mean that you may sleep. I know there is most likely student propaganda going around about how absolutely fun it is to sleep in my class. I may not be Azrael or Professor Stevens, but it doesn't take a Seer to see people sleeping. Now then..." The last two words were gentler than the harsh beginning. "For those of you who have not met with me between the last class and now, I introduce my friend and companion. His name is Trajan, and yes, he is a Phoenix." He, with a swift hand motion, brought attention to the shining bird who tried hopefully to let the class ignore him. 'Oh God Talon, must you? Must you? Now they'll be all "Oh look at the pretty birdie, let's rip out his feathers!" ' The Bird shot an angry glace at Talon. Talon simply laughed. "He rather doesn't like it when you gawk at him, but if you'd like to say hello, do so. He is very much sentient. "Now then, besides Trajan, I'd like you to pick up the textbooks in front of you and turn to Sections 1-3. Read each deeply, and absorb them into your thought. When at last you understand this... Locomotor Supplies." A fond thought came to him as quills and paper zoomed across the room to the tables in front of the students. Those days long ago when he could hardly say that very spell. Took him so very long to learn it...and here he was now, brushing it off like nothing. This made him smile. But soon enough he was back to his booming voice. "Review to the assignment. It relates to the theme of this class which we reviewed last time. On the board is the assignment." Welcome to History to Magic!
This class, you have met Trajan, Talon's Phoenix friend! As an extra credit assignment, you can describe Trajan, and how he appears to you, and your reaction to it. This can earn you up to ten points!
You have also read Sections 1-3. You have deeply looked them over and pondered them. If this is so, the next assignment will be a breeze!
Question 1. What would you do such an event as Voldemoria? Would you fight her? Would you do nothing?
Question 2. What is the Purple Pentagon's weakness?
Question 3. What are the names of the Rebels who fought against Voldemoria?
Question 4. What are the names of the two heroes who fought against the Traitor Headmaster?
Question 5. What was the fate of the Traitor Headmaster and his lover?
Question 6. How did you feel after reading this? Talon sat back in his chair again, calming himself down and viewing his students with watchful eyes. Trajan's eyes fell once more, not reading the board and not knowing that he was about to get so many eyes on him that he could've pecked Talon to death.

Yawning, Faye was suddenly dragged to her senses by the sound of Talon's voice cutting through the air. She had been so distracted by the innocent banter of all the students around her that she had almost fallen asleep- but not quite. She was a bit more respectful towards the Professor and didn't want to offend him by deciding to take a nap. So she instead quickly reached for the textbook and took a brief glance of the assignments, thinking that the quesitons really didn't look too hard. She could probably easily complete them as soon as she was finished reading the passage.
Faerlain Darian Hufflepuff
1. Yes, I do believe I would have fought back against Voldemoria. Since this event occured within the school's early days, we might not exist today if not for her defeat. I am by no means attempting to call myself a hero of any kind, but I do think it my duty to keep the school safe. And, if I had been alive back then, that would have included helping to defeat Voldemoria in all her evil-ness.*
2. The Purple Pentagon's weakness was sugar. Correct.
3. The names of the rebels who fought against Voldemoria include such greats as Jaspure Riddle, Josh D., and Ender I. Correct.
4. Though all of the students loathed the Headmaster, the two students who fought out the most were the Generals Raider and Metallic. Correct.
5. It says that both the fate of Jaspure and the fate of Josh is unknown, however it appears that they were both mortally wounded when they were last seen. Correct.
6. I really enjoyed this assignment, which carried us back to a time before any of us could really remember. It's the true history of the school, and I think that educating every student about such terrible times simply prepares us for whatever may come our way in the future. *
Upon completing the regular assignment, she gently closed the book and then proceeded to gaze up at Trajan. In truth, she'd never noticed the bird before. He seemed to just be idily sitting up at the front of the room, not really caring about all the action that was going on around him. Faye had honestly never known that Talon even had a pet.
Extra Credit I find Trajan to be a very beautiful bird, despite my general dislike of birds. The thing that I admire most about him is how aloof he is, though I'm sure that he's certainly good to have during a fight. I'm just wondering his reaction to this assignment, professor. I shall stop my compliments upon him right here, for I certainly wouldn't like to see a bird with an ego.**
Chuckling a little, she rolled up her parchment and placed it on the corner of the desk. One class down... who knew how many they still had left to go? It was definitly not summer anymore- that much she knew for sure.
*A jolly good assignment! You nowadays Prefects really do amaze me, Miss Darian. Indeed, every question was answered correctly and all of your critical thinking questions were insightful. I'm glad you enjoyed reading this piece. If you liked reading about Jaspure, you will be glad for the next class. 20 points for Hufflepuff.
**Extra credit as well! Indeed Trajan is a glorious Phoenix, I am honored to be his companion. 'Aloof' often describes him as well. 10 more points for Hufflepuff. And as for an ego? We're all a bit too late for that, I'm afraid.
(It was a good thing at this time that Trajan was busy staring out the window to see this remark.)

She sighed, after taking a little to long to read, and picked up her quill.
Xarian Heart Ravenclaw History of Magic
Question 1. I would do the best to my abilities. I couldn't see myself standing up to her alone, but more as support for another who chose to do so. I'm not that brave.
Question 2. Sugar. I think that's interesting personally.
Question 3. Jaspure Riddle as the leader and her friends Josh D. and Endor I.
Question 4. The generals Raider and Metallic
Question 5. Both wounded mortally, they went their separate ways, never to be heard from again.
Question 6. I feel slightly amused by this story, to be honest. It seems a lot like the muggle shows that are on in the afternoons. Full of controversy and lost love. It all seems very fake to me. Maybe it's because such things don't happen much any more.
She was finished with the first assignment, and went to think. She had the option for extra credit. She figured that she would need it later.
As for Trajan, I do like him very much. He's is increadably beautiful, though he doesn't seem very modest, or trusting of those he doesn't know.

Though she had been waiting to say 'Pleasure to meet you, it never came, never once left her mouth. Instead she got up from her position, and gathered up three text books, handing one to Rezna and the other to Anna, keeping one in front of her.
Carmen Thompson Hufflepuff
Question 1. I would fight her, yes indeed. I can't say I'm brave, but I can get very angry when things go wrong. I'd learn all the spells I could, and I would put my everything and my all into defeating her. And if I died in the process, well, at least I died trying.
Question 2. The one true weakness of the Purple Pentagon was the almighty sugar - which sends many students on highs should it be consumed in a large amount.
Question 3. The names of the rebels who faught against Voldemoria were Jaspure Riddle, Josh D and Ender I.
Question 4. The names of the two heroes who fought against the Traitor Headmaster were General Raider and Metallic.
Question 5. It appeared that the two were mortally wounded, but it is unclear as to what happened to the two after parting ways. Their past after that is unknown in the text.
Question 6. Well, to be quite frank, I liked it a little, but it didn't do much for me. It was interesting, as all history is, but it was not as detailed as I had wished it to be.
Extra Credit. Oh, my, Trajan is the most radiant bird I've seen. He's got gleaming feathers that rival every shining thing on this earth, and beauty to match. However, he seems a little less trusting and wary of others and their opinions. I just hope that I haven't discouraged him or made him a little fruitfully angry towards me. I'm a lover of animals, especially birds, and seeing this creature in the flesh (I was born muggle) after reading many many things about a historic bird like this is outstandingly eyepopping!
After putting her blue muggle biro down on the desk, she folded the parchment into quarters and left it at the edge of her desk, and slid her eyes to see if Rezna and Anna had finished yet.

(ooc: ironically, i didn't even look in there. i have actually been trying to figure out what it meant... oops.. i guess i ruined the timing then...)
Anna sighed as she turned to the professor and listened to what he was telling them. Carmen handed Rezna and Anna both a textbook, and kept one for herself, "Thanks," Anna said with a smile. Anna picked up the textbook and skimmed back through sections 1 through 3. Once she did so, Anna picked up her quill and dipped it into her ink. She wrote down all of the questions and answered them quite easily. Once she was done, Anna picked up her paper and read it over again.
Anna Tomlin History Of Magic Gryffindor
Question 1. What would you do such an event as Voldemoria? Would you fight her? Would you do nothing? I would fight Voldemoria if I had lived during the time. Although I might not have enough courage to fight her alone, I would definitely fight her. At first I'm sure I would be hesitant, but in the end I know I would put my full energy towards defeating her.
Question 2. What is the Purple Pentagon's weakness? The Purple Pentagon's weakness was sugar.
Question 3. What are the names of the Rebels who fought against Voldemoria? The names of the Rebels were Jaspure Riddle, Josh D, and Ender I.
Question 4. What are the names of the two heroes who fought against the Traitor Headmaster? Generals Raider and Metallic were the heroes who fought against the Traitor Headmaster.
Question 5. What was the fate of the Traitor Headmaster and his lover? It stated that they were both wounded mortally and they both went their seperate ways.
Question 6. How did you feel after reading this? I felt as though I could picture everything that had happened and I really enjoyed reading the sections. Jaspure Riddle interested me mostly because of everything she had done and everything she had to go through and deal with.
Anna looked up at Trajan and smiled. What a beautiful bird.. she thought and decided to go for the extra credit so, she wrote down the extra credit question and answered it. Again, when she was done she reread it to make sure everything made sense.
Extra Credit: Describe Trajan, and how he appears to you, and your reaction to it. Trajan is the most beautiful bird I have ever seen in my life. This is probably because I haven't ever seen a phoenix before and so it was an enormous suprise to see a red feathered bird sitting in a History classroom. As I said, since I wasn't exactly expecting to see a phoenix in a History classroom, I was very suprised. Even though I was suprised, it was a good suprise, and I am happy that you brought Trajan in.
Anna decided that her answers to the questions were good enough and slid it to the corner of her desk. She threw her quill and ink back into her bag and then decided that she still might need them, so she picked up her back and fished through it. Finally she found her quill and ink and set them neatly next to her paper. Anna set her bag down on the floor and looked around the room with tired eyes.

Rezna was too shocked to reply to Anna's tale. Seeing as class had started, the Hufflepuff decided to do her classwork with the others. She'd have time to sort everything out later.
Accepting the book that Carmen offered her, Rezna's green eyes caught Summer as she walked past. She smiled to the girl before beginning her reading.
After a few minutes, the blond reached for her quill and ink bottle as she began to write her assignment.
Rezna Lardale Hufflepuff
1. I would definitely fight her, for I don't know how I could stand seeing the people I care about being tortured and killed and do nothing about it. I think that there is no other life to live, but your own. And if that life is in such Dark Times, then your only choice is to do all in your power to make it better.
2. The Purple Pentagon's weakness was sugar which was administered by Jennifer Black.
3. The rebels who fought against Voldemoria were: Jaspure Riddle, the leader of the revolution, Josh D, the leader's best friend, and Ender I who finally sealed Voldemoria withing a stone.
4. The two heroes who fought against the Traitor Headmaster were Generals Raider and Metallic, once a powerful warrior duo. They dueled against Josh, two to one, wounding him deeply.
5. Josh, the Traitor Headmaster, turned on Jasper and wounded her deeply when he was perhaps on the verge of death himself. After that battle, the two went their separate ways, their friendship destroyed. Whether they lived or died is uncertain.
6. After reading these passages, I found that the history of Harry Fortress has been both dark and heroic. Every so often, the power that comes with the responsibility for the school and it's students corrupts the leaders. Even those that fight against such bloody rulers like Voldemoria are consumed by the idea of power in the end. Therefore, this reading has opened my eyes to the terrible changes that power makes people go through. In all, no I did not like this reading.
Extra Credit: Trajan appears to be one of the most intelligent birds I have ever seen. His eyes seem to hold pits of bottomless knowledge in them. In all, he's a beautiful creature and probably a great aid to a Professor like yourself. Oh, and one of his greatest qualities, in my opinion, is that he's quiet, for those little hawks sure make a racket!
Rezna finally lowered her quill and allowed the ink to dry. Turning hear head she caught Carmen's eyes on her and smiled, nodding her head to the fact that the both of them were done. Then, the blond turned to look at Anna, and the worry that previously she had no chance to show finally etched itself over her features.

Post by Aylen Hawkins on Oct 4, 2005 22:39:43 GMT
Aylen quickly looked up as the professor began to speak. He was sorely disappointed that he would not be able to sneak a quick nap in this class, and was ready to tune out the rest of the professor’s words when the professor introduced his companion. The redhead couldn’t suppress a grin as he saw the bird’s expression. Though most other people wouldn’t have caught it, the experience of working with birds all of his life made this easy for the Hawkins boy.
He let out an audible sigh along with most of the rest of the class as Talon instructed them to open their textbooks. As he opened to the correct page, ink, quill, and parchment flew to his desk. Aylen looked somewhat relieved at this, for he had broken his inkbottle earlier, ruining all of his parchment. Splotches of black were still visible on the redhead’s book bag, though a failed cleaning spell had lightened them slightly.
After sucking on the end of the quill for a good amount of time, he put the tip to the paper and began to write.
Question 1. What would you do such an event as Voldemoria? Would you fight her? Would you do nothing? I would definitely fight her. She has no right to take over our school and use it for her own purposes. Torturing and killing innocent people is just wrong. I would be proud to defend those who can’t defend themselves, even if I die in the struggle. *
Question 2. What is the Purple Pentagon's weakness? Sugar. Correct.
Aylen held in a snort of laughter as he read this part. Defeated by sugar, how strange. After he had calmed himself, he went on to the other questions. They weren’t nearly as amusing, though.
Question 3. What are the names of the Rebels who fought against Voldemoria? Jaspure Riddle, Josh D., Ender I Correct.
Question 4. What are the names of the two heroes who fought against the Traitor Headmaster? General Raider, General Metallic Correct.
Question 5. What was the fate of the Traitor Headmaster and his lover? No one knows. Correct.
At this point, Aylen began chewing on the quill thoughtfully again.
Question 6. How did you feel after reading this? I’m impressed by the bravery of those who stood up to their oppressors. I hope to be as great as they are, maybe someday, but I hope I don't have to. *
Aylen decided this didn't make much sense, but he was too lazy to change it. He leaned back in his chair, tipping it back and forth. Perhaps he would write about Trajan later.
*Spoken like a true Gryffindor. Don't be too reckless with the idea of life, however. As for you being like Jaspure, Ender, and Josh - that is our theme, is it not? If you try - you can make history. Even if it is not in battle, you can make yourself known through other means, and you have many talents, Mister Hawkins.
20 points for Gryffindor, and you still have time to do your extra credit on Trajan.

Ashlle was horrified, shocked, angry and abashed all at once. It was one thing to be told to sit by the teacher but quite another to be totally ignored by him! Ashlle did sit down but decided she would do the homework in the Hospital Wing office.
If Professor Windwaltz came up to ask why she hadn't done it in class, she would then be able to examine him and heal him. If he didn't come than who really cared for him anyway. A Professor who doesn't care for himself can't really care for his student much, anyway. thought Ashlle to herself as she opened her book and began to read the required section, making notes as she went along about the important parts.

Anna felt eyes on her back and turned and saw Rezna was looking at her. Anna gave her a small smile and whispered, "hey.." She was still getting over her retelling of the worst night that Anna had at Magic Horizons, yet she had learned a lot that night too. She noticed that Carmen was finished with the questions as well and Anna smiled at her.
I wonder if there will be any homework, Anna thought, although there were other things going on in her head, that couldn't yet be brought to words. Anna sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. She pictured many things, her first day at Magic Horizons, her first lesson, that late night when she met Rezna, Anna's first time on a broom, her first trip to Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, Jordan and Larissa's wedding... before everything happened, and then what happened after.
Anna smiled and opened her eyes as she thought if someone was watching her, they might think she were mad to be smiling when she looked as though she was asleep. She brushed long black strands of hair out of her eyes, and then rubbed them to help herself wake up a little. Then, she picked up a piece of parchment and her quill. She dipped her quill into the ink and started drawing little swirls and lines on the paper, for she didn't know what else to do for now.

Fae runned to her next class, after sleeping in for about half an hour. 'Oh, great! Late at my favorite class! Isn't it just spiffy?' She thought angrily, while opening the door. After gawking at the surroundings for a while (she always liked to take her time and apreciate the décor), she finally mumbled her excuses, then sat down in a corner of the classroom, book bag at her feet. Sighing, she looked up and her eyes laced over the pretty Phoenix she hadn't noticed! How could she be so stupid as not to see a Phoenix, when it was right there, shining beautifully on his perch?! She tore her eyes off the wonderful bird, for she knew there must be an asignament to do, as all the others were either scribbling on pieces of parchment, either reading the text book. She looked at the blackboard, and bought out her History of Magic book. She smirked. In the haste of knowing everything she could know about this school, she had already read the first sections, so this would be an easy essay to write. Producing a piece of parchment and a quill and a ink pot, she begun writing in her flowery, slightly messy cursive...
Amaya Oros Slytherin History of Magic, sections 1-3
1.)What would you do such an event as Voldemoria?Would you fight her? Would you do nothing? ·I would fight her, but not openly and foolishly. I would first try and gather as much knowledge about her as possible, then train myself into being strong enough to put up with her. Only after that, I'd join her, maybe give her some samples of loyalty, then stab her in the back at the right time. I have my duty to the school more than my duty to the Headmaster/mistress. 2.)What is the Purple Pentagon's great weakness? ·Sugar! It amused me greatly that a monster could be defeated with something so... sweet. History always has such funny twists...Also, I have a question about the Purple Pentagon. Why did it eat girls? 3.)What are the names of the rebels that fought against Voldemoria? ·Jaspure Riddle, the leader of the revolution, Josh D., who was the one who trapped Voldemoria and Jaspure's friend and finally, Ender I, the one who killed Voldemoria. 4.)What are the names of the two heroes that fought against the Traitor Master? ·Generals Raider and Metallic. 5.)What was the faith of the Traitor Master and his lover? ·No one knows, but they were both wounded mortally: Josh by the Generals and Jaspure by Josh. 6.)How do you feel after reading this? ·I feel strange, I wish I had lived in those days... I would have fought evil and all that... But every age has its evil twists, so I just have to wait for the time to come. Or, if not, I'll simply have to produce that time...
Fae looked the essay over, and smirked, pleased of her work. Now, let's go for the extra credit... She looked at the bird again, and her eyes were captured once again by the Phoenix's ones. She stood like that for a good five minutes, then she realised she was staring and looked down at the piece of scribbled parchment on the desk. Taking a deep breath, she begun to write once more...
Extra Credit Trajan is a truly fascinating bird. I am mostly atracted by its eyes, they held something... Knowledge... Something I crave. He bores the name of the roman general that subdued with great skill and lots of effort the small Dacia, the teritory that now is Romania, my native country. My family dates since that age, and I think Trajan dates from even farther into the ages. Phoenixes are truly wonderful creatures, and I can tell you that I'm a bit envious for I can't have one.
Fae put her quill down. Yes, the Professor must have something special for a Phoenix to let him near. What was that something, she'd discover it later. Now, she had to learn. To know. To train. For she knew hard times were comming and she had to be ready for the fight.

Michelle sat, eagerly grinning at her Professor. This was her first ever class at Magic Horizons. The excitement that was coursing through her at the moment was unmatchable. She wanted to do well, to give her a boost of hope before she ran off to her next few classes. So she took out her brand new bright yellow feather quill, and thought for a moment before writing, occasionally referring to her textbook.
Michelle Westwood Hufflepuff Student
1. I would fight Voldemoria. I don't know how I could even contribute in an attack on a powerful being like her, but I would do whatever I was told if it meant she would not get control over the school. I've only been at Magic Horizons for two days but I already love it here and want to help the school any way I can.
2. The Purple Pentagons weakness was sugar.
3. The leader and two friends who led the rebellion are Jaspure Riddle and Josh D and Ender I.
4. The whole student body despised their Headmaster. The two who fought against him the most are Generals Raider and Metallic.
5. Jaspure and Josh's fate is not known, but the last time they were seen they were mortally wounded, so it is generally assumed they are dead.
6. I liked doing this assignment very much. I am greatly interested in history, but especially history that seems quite close to our present time. Although the events happened a long time ago I could still imagine them happening now, and that is history coming alive to me. I suppose it made me feel like I was a part of something greater than just one student in one school - one day, I too might be part of history.
Michelle stopped writing and looked up at the beautiful phoenix. He fixed her with a menacing look and she turned away to write the extra credit part of the assignment.
Extra Credit; Trajan is a beautiful phoenix, his plumage is beautiful, he is obviously mid-cycle and nowhere near Burning Day. Although he seems a little scary, I always like to animals with personality because I think they have as much character as humans do.

OOC: ok, so Sylph wasn't back until after Talon had met Az in the graveyard and *stuff* happened (i.e. after this class is staged), but I want points, darn it!
IC: Another day, another class. Sylph shot a characteristic grin at her teacher and his phoenix as she strolled in, bag swung casually over one shoulder, her long legs carrying her rapidly to her seat. After glancing at the assignment for todays lesson, Sylph smiled to herself at the first question. Who knew better than the history of magic professor himself how readily she was prepared to fight against people like Voldemoria? Taking up her quill and dipping it in amber ink (she had already read the text the night before in a fit of boredom), she began to write.
Sylph Morgan, Gryffindor.
1. What would you do such an event as Voldemoria? Would you fight her? Would you do nothing? I would stand against Voldemoria without hesitation. I would, of course, aim to gain as much information about my enemy first before striking, as well as as many people as possible as I know that I could not stand alone against her.
2. What is the Purple Pentagon's weakness? The Purple Pentagon's weakness was sugar.
3. What are the names of the Rebels who fought against Voldemoria? Jaspure Riddle, Josh D, and Ender I.
4. What are the names of the two heroes who fought against the Traitor Headmaster? The two Generals, Raider and Metallic.
5. What was the fate of the Traitor Headmaster and his lover? They were both mortally wounded and eventually went their own seperate ways, but what became of them remains unknown.
6. How did you feel after reading this? Intrigued. I am glad that there are those with the bravery and talent to stand up to oppressors, but also sorrowful that even heroes can become power-hungry and betray their closest friends and comrades, just as Josh D did. I say I am intrigued because I was not fully aware of the turbulent and rather violent history of this school; now I want to find out more.
Sylph looked up as she finished the assignment questions, peering across the room as the magnificent pheonix. What the hell? she thought, smiling to herself a little, and took up her quill once more.
Extra Credit: Describe Trajan, and how he appears to you, and your reaction to it. I have had the delight of meeting Trajan once or twice before. He is certainly a magnificant example of an already fine species. He is proud and somewhat... superior, but is nevertheless holds all the good personality traits of a pheonix, being both loyal and wise. I have also suspected for some time that he and you, Professor, are linked in some way, though in which way is so far unclear to me.
Sylph re-read this last part, wondering if she dare leave it in. Still, she mused, nothing ventured, nothing gained...

Krista hurried into the class, and sat down, barely catching the professor's speech as she placed her books onto her desk. She pulled out parchment, a quill and ink. She listened to the professor intetly, thouh inside she was bored.
After he explained the homework, Krista twirled her quill in her fingers, and then poised it above the paper, and began to write.

Question 1. What would you do such an event as Voldemoria? Would you fight her? Would you do nothing?
I believe, in the event that something similiar happened as Voldemoria, or if I was at Harry Fortress at this time, I would have done my bets to fight her. I could see myself joining a resistance, working hard to remove her from our school, so happiness could restart again.

Question 5. What was the fate of the Traitor Headmaster and his lover?
Their fate is unknown, but it is known they both went thier seperate ways.
Question 6. How did you feel after reading this?
I felt like I now understand the history behind our schoo, or the early school. I realize the hardships we had to go through to get where we are, and realize that unity is so importrant. We need to trust our friends, and give them reasons to trust us. I really liked this assignment, I think it gave me a deeper understand for those around me, and before me. I look forward to our coming assignments, as we learn more of the past of this wonderful school of Magic Horizons.
Extra Credit.
Trajan seems like a most wonderful pet, companion, and friend. He is truly magnificient, and when I see him, it makes me feel happy, knowing that everything could be alright. I know you are lucky to have him as a pet, and I look forward to getting to know your majestic bird through the classes taught this year.
Krista finished up the homework and extra credit, read it over, and stood up. She carried it to the front of the class, and handed it over to the Professor for grading.
