Rose walked intothe Muggle Studies Class unenthused. She had lived in the Muggle World for a long time and so had come in contact with almost all the Muggles' Possessions. She took a seat in the back of the classroom, waiting for the class to begin. After reading the textbook as instructed she began to answer the questions. 'I could've answered these without having read the book. I used them so much when I was in the Muggle World.' Rose thought as she shook her head.
Rose rolled up the parchment and sat it on the teacher's desk. She then went back to her seat and waited for the class to be dismissed.

Muggle Studies - Lesson 1 - Home Phones
1) What is a phone used for?
It is used in the Muggle World for communication over short and more commonly, long distances.
2) What is the difference between a cordless phone and a regular phone?
A cordless phone is, of course, cordless. The cordless phones have a base which allows the phone to be taken anywhere. The regular phones can only be taken as far as the cord attached the regular phone will allow.
3) How does a telephone work?
Phones all have an ear piece and a reciever. The ear piece is where the person using the phone hears the sounds. The reciever is where the person talks into and is transferred to the ear piece of the other person's phone.
4) (Optional) Give a one paragraph essay about yourself including your likes and dislikes.
My name is Blue Rose of pureblood Roses who are known to just close friends and am 18 years old. I am called Rose instead of Blue, this being that my friends that I had thought calling me Blue sounded depressing. I lived in the Muggle world ever since a year and a half ago. I recieved my knowledge of magic from my parents until a year ago when they were mysteriously killed. I hope to learn much here at MH and become a helpful magic user.
