5. 600He pauses for a moment, thinking then continues to write. Essay: My name is Conan Edogawa. I'm from Japan. I come from a muggle-born family. In Japan I am a well known dectective. I was entering the 1st grade a muggle school when I got my letter. I am 8 years old and I have a pet ferret named Rikki-tiki. He going to behave (I hope...) and he likes to explore with me. I'm hoping to become better at Transfiguration. It's one of my favorite subjects along with Charms. I just can't get the hang of it for some reason. This is my first year at MH.Well welcome to Transfiguration 101, Mr. Edogawa. I've been to Japan many times and absolutely love it there. Nihon-jin desu ka? Uchi no namae wa Osaka desu. Perhaps you'll be able to help a certain girl from Ravenclaw find her green flip flop, as you are a detective. She always seems to be losing that thing 5/5, 20 pts.

Transfiguration was supposed to be hard but these questions & answers seemed to be pretty easy. Ashlle took a book & sat back down & began to write.
Ashlle A. Rainier - Gryffindor
1.) What is the most elementric and fail-safe way to guide your power?
b. Saying object's name
2.) It is necessary to do it always.
False
3.) What complexity level would a cupcake have?
Ductile
4.) What complexity level would a large marble fountain be?
Complex
5.) The longest known incantation spans over how many pages?
a. 600
My Name is Ashlle A. Rainier & and I’m in Gryffindor. One of the things that make me me is my long scar that starts at my forehead &and goes down next to my ear &and ends at my chin. You may not have noticed because my hair covers most of the side of my face. I don't know where I got it.
Also I'm the last Descendant of the great &and powerful Rainiers. This may be hard to believe because all of them are dead but it's true, I assure you.
5/5 Interesting background Miss Rainier, you'll have to share a little of your family history sometime during the year, I'm afraid that I've never heard of them. And please, during writing assignments, I ask that you do not use the ampersan symbol to indicate "and," please write out the word. 19 pts.
She then got up and set it on the Professors desk

As soon as she could, Jade bolted from Divination and sprinted down the halls towards her next and most favorite class, Transfiguration. Her exuberance was mostly brought on by her curiousity as to how Professor Romani had kept her room. The Prefect was certainly glad to finally have teachers who changed their rooms about instead of having the same dank walls about. It made things interesting at least. A grin slipped out as she quickly made her way towards class as she thought of all the monkeys that inhabited Professor B's room.
When she rushed in, Jade immediately felt the sun upon her cheeks and the faint wind smelling of natural things brush past her. She was definitely not disappointed. Perhaps, she hoped, the Professor would teach them all to Transfigure the room...
Jade Cross ~ Ravenclaw Intro to Transfiguration
1.) What is the most elementric and fail-safe way to guide your power?
Saying object's name
2.) It is necessary to do it always.
False
3.) What complexity level would a cupcake have?
Ductile
4.) What complexity level would a large marble fountain be?
Complex
5.) The longest known incantation spans over how many pages?
600
Essay You'll probably remember me from last year's class, I'm that rather strange one near the front who always seems to be grinning? Not too much has changed since last year, I'm still an Auror and recently visited the Giants... I'm still, recovering from that excursion. I'm still a Prefect of the Ravenclaw house and am Beater and Assistant Captain on the Quidditch team. I have two animals here with me at MH, a black dog named Shade, and a snowy owl named Isis.
5/5 Yes, I do indeed remember your bright, smiling face Miss Cross and I look forward to it through the course of the year. I think I've also come across this dog of yours, bright indigo eyes, like yours? A silver chain and a jade green cross about its neck? 20 pts.

Ravin rises from her chair and moves cautiously up to the front, careful not to trip over something growing in the classroom. She takes a book from the collection and takes it back to her seat, neatly printing her name in the front as instructed. She looks around the room to get a good look at the rest of her classmates and starts the assignment. 1. b. Saying the objects name is the most fail-safe way to guide your power. 2. False 3. A cupcake's complexity level is Ductile. 4. A large marble fountain's complexity level is Complex. 5. The longest known incantation spans over 600 pages. My name is Ravin Lostri, age 17. My personality could be described as somewhat shy. I am often told how creative I am. I enjoy all types of art. Though I may appear to be a bookworm, I hardly ever read and I'm not as intelligent as some may think. I do keep up with school, but I have a habit of being lazy. Other things that keep me busy are writing and sleeping. I work hard at keeping up with my stories and poems, which tires me. This all makes me sound like a very solitary girl, but I have a gift of making friends easily, although sometimes I'm not the easiest person to get along with. I'm looking forward to my first year at Magic Horizons and hope to make a good impression on everyone I meet. Well you've already made a good impression on me 5/5 20 pts.

Ceiced rushes into the class, his glasses nearly falling off as he skids to a halt. "I, ah, sorry i'm, well, I was, um, help up at the Library." he stutters. This is his first time in the 'room' and he can't help but look about at the gorgeous surroundings. Realizing he is being stared at, he walks up and grabs a textbook, then takes a seat. He writes his name in elegant cursive on the front cover before quickly scanning the pages and starting his assignment. Ceiced Nerr'an Ravenclaw 1.) The most elementric and fail-safe way to guide your power is B, saying the object's name after the incantation 2.) It is not always necessary to do this, so the answer is false. 3.) A cupcake would have a ductile complexity 4.) A large marble fountain would be complex. 5.) The longest known incantation is A, 600 pages, or 3 books of 200 pages. My name is Ceiced (SAY-uh-sed) Nerr'an. I enjoy reading, and I will do so as often as possible between my classes. I spend the rest of my time searching the library for new spells to learn or new knowledge to be gained. I want to further my magic abilities above all, and that is why I am here at MH. Before I came I was studying on my own, but I could not progress from lack of resources. It was actually Talon Windwaltz who invited me here to MH, we were distant friends until he discovered my magic talent. I am looking forward to my first year of Transfiguration, as I am for the rest of my classes. And also I apoligize if some of my answers or essays are sometimes unintelligible, I suppose I am a bit harebrained. 5/5 Interesting, Mr. Nerr'an. I am familiar with Mr. Windwaltz and am glad that he spread along good information about our school. I look forward to having you in my class. [ooc: wrtie in past tense, kid ] 15 pts.

Right behind Ceiced was Suzu, who had no good reason for being late, she had just overlept.
Of course, she wouldn't admit this to the teacher. So Suzu just smiled as she picked up a textbook and sat down in one of the available seats and started the asignment.
1.) What is the most elementric and fail-safe way to guide your power?
b. Saying object's name
2.) It is necessary to do it always.
False
3.) What complexity level would a cupcake have?
Ductile
4.) What complexity level would a large marble fountain be?
Complex
5.) The longest known incantation spans over how many pages?
a. 600
Hi! I'm Suzu Kanki from Slytherin. I lived in Japan before coming here. My mom's a concert violinist and my dad's a pianist, so I love music. Music is the only thing I'm really good at, but I promise to try in my classes! I have horrible memorization skills for spells, so please be patient.
5/5 Do not worry, my class doesn't necessarily require much memorization, mostly concentration. Kanki-san wa Nihon-jin desu ka? 15 pts.

Prairie Rose wandered into her first transfiguration class noticing how the room decor was like no other she had seen thus far. She smiled at the complexity of her surroundings as she took a seat near the front of the class listening to the professors instructions.
She then did as the professor requested, carefully rising and claiming a book to claim as her own for the year. The books were slightly worn from use but in fair condition considering how many times they had probably been turned into a canary or water goblet. She smiled looking at the book wondering were it had been and furthermore what she was going to do to it.
She sat back down at her desk scrawling her name across the front in glowing curved script with the tail from the "E" at the end encircling the entire name. She then opened the book paying careful attention to the syllabus as she found her assignment.
After reading the assigned text she pulled out a piece of parchment and her bottle of Slytherin green ink and began to write:
Prairie Rose Slytherin Transfiguration Assignment 1
1.) B 2.) False 3.) Ductile 4.) Complex 5.) A
A Few facts about myself:
My name is Prairie Rose and I was born in Texas to an upstanding pureblood family. I have one sister and one brother as well as many pets. I enjoy strange and especially poisonous creatures and I feel the world has little respect for these beings and as such are worse for it in the end.
I enjoy sports especially Quidditch in which I can play most positions, however my specialty is Chaser and Keeper. I played on a youth league back in Houston were I did fairly well. Also I enjoy music of all kinds, even muggle. Music is an art that few people take to heart. It has the power to persuade, teach, evoke feeling, mesmerize, captivate, and even control. Great power can be found within music for people willing to use it.
I have long wavy red hair and crystal blue eyes, standing only 5'2. However power can not be judged by size alone. At my last school I had top marks in all subjects and I hope to do as well here. Having been here only 1 day so far, I am still trying to get to know some people and find my way around the school. But I am up for the adventure and I hope to come out on top at the end of my journey with a wealth of knowledge to carry me through the rest of my life.
[/b]
Prairie Rose then put her ink away and turned the assignment into the professor with a smile.
5/5 A well written assignment, Miss Rose and it would have received top marks if not late. 15 pts.

Silver smiled around at the rest of the class before eagerly pulling her parchment and quill out of her patchwork bag. Tucking some of her silvery hair behind her ears, she opened her brand new textbook and drank in the information before setting her attention to the assignment. Taking a deep breath, she started scrawling. Transfiguration - Introduction by Silver Stillwater, Hufflepuff Student 1.) What is the most elementric and fail-safe way to guide your power? b. Saying object's name 2.) It is necessary to do it always. False 3.) What complexity level would a cupcake have? Ductile 4.) What complexity level would a large marble fountain be? Complex 5.) The longest known incantation spans over how many pages? a. 600 Pausing, Silver re-checked all her answers, making sure they were correct. She really wanted to do well in Transfiguration. Looking back at the textbook, she saw yet another essay about herself. Furrowing her brows in worry, wondering what on earth to say, she hesitantly began to write again. My name is Silver Stillwater, and this is my first whole year at Magic Horizons. My family transferred my to here when my father's job got transferred to a closer Ministry. I am enjoying being here mainly because everyone in my House is so friendly, I feel really welcomed by almost everybody, which was something my old school was never very good at. I love playing Quidditch (I have only learned how to play since coming here - my old school never bothered with that either!). Although I am not one of the most intelligent people, I am eager to learn and I really hope that might make me an asset to the class.Biting her lip nervously, Silver handed her paper in. 5/5 I hope that you'll enjoy your stay here Miss Stillwater. MH is home to some of the most wonderful people that you'll meet in your lifetime. A year spent here is like a year spent with your family... just more fun Welcome to Magical Horizons Miss Stillwater! 15 pts.

Congratulations everyone! You've just completed your first Transfiguration class! Easy stuff, huh? Well, this was just to get our feet warm, I assure you. This semester, I have a few interesting surprises planned which I do hope you'll all enjoy. For the next class, don't bother to bring your text books for we will be going outside. Bring cloaks and gloves, for it could get a little chilly! Take care everyone, we'll see you soon, and do try to be careful ^_^ And just to note, that all late assignments (work that comes in after I post current results) will be marked down. I was also given a new grading system in which I will be much less lenient and will concentrate more on legibility, writing skills, creativity, and realism. Remember, not everyone is good at Transfiguration. I stress that this class is supposed to be one of the hardest to acquire profficient skills. So for the next class, be sure to give me your best Class dismissed.
